"Well that eases my mind, meaning she must be on her mission to Houka, that gives us one nights rest then we must be on our way to the ruins to meet with her. I'm not one who likes to be late for appointments, and given the devlopments recently the world cannot wait either. I'm gonna go rest, and I suggest you do the same. Your not a machine Arkayid, and you'll need every ounce of energy for the final battle which is soon approaching."
Vermillion turned up the hall and started moving towards his quaters. "I can ease your mind enough to rest, but its something that will require your permission to do so. I'll be in my quaters if you wish to rest per my invitation."

Arkayid got up from his squat and started following Vermillion. "Anything. I need sleep. I've been simply feeding my body with magic to stave off the feelings of sleep. Oh I feel myself, but, as you can see. I haven't bathed or become properly bathed. I'd rather clean myself up before anything, if you wouldn't mind."

When the soilders came in she asked them to take a seat one of them went to the open secret door and looked into it "i have asked you here because you no doubt have heard im the new 'Queen' at least till we can find the Queen or an heir aparent ...untill then ....i would like to appoint you men as my personal guard ....im not saying you have to do this ...However, i hope your gratefullness for what i did for you will sway you to acccept my offer ...if you do not, you might as well leave the room now...." she sat there looking at them wiht her calm eyes a smile wanting to come out to sway them more but it didnt

Vermillion entered his room and pointed towards another off the small room. "In there you should find a small bathing pool, and in the small nets hanging on the wall you'll find soap bars. When your finished stripping set your armor just outside the door for cleansing."
Vermillion poked around a small bag beside the bed and tossed a small robe that would be somewhat big on Arkayid. "That should do as a robe till your clothing is cleaned as well. As for a bedroll, i'll put something together while you clean up."
Vermillion closed the top of the bag and looked towards the window and spoke in a semi raised voice. "Messenger!"
A person appeared in the room dressed not much differently then Vermillion, and he nodded towards Vermillion then a respectful nod towards Aekayid before focusing his attention towards Vermillion.
Vermillion began; "Message for Queen yami as follows:
Loas has returned, begin deploying squadrons in a defensive perimeter in the outlying villages, and with instruction not to abandon their post no matter what. My affairs in Pearle will soon be finished and i will return to be of greater assistance, I apologize for taking so long my queen, but matters here are of upmost importance in the coming battles ahead. My heart weeps for Tolly, but in his absence we must survive with the teachings he left us both."
Vermillion waived his hand to have him depart.

((oh ok i guess i could do that i just thought .......well i dont like rping by my self and thats what im doing .....again))
two men walked out of the room their wounds had been easily curable so they didnt feel beholden to her when the 12 men that stayed turned to look at her she finally let a small regal smile cross her lips "well then first of all i would like you to take a vow that as long as im the queen you will protect me in every way ...and that includs my secrets also you will be only answerable to me so the supreme commander cannot tell you what to do."
they all got down on one knee before her desk their right fist over their chest and spoke as one "we so swear to protect the queen, in every way"
Marta nodded and sighed with relief "well then the first thing we must do is prepare to go to the meeting in the netural zone ....i shall ask you two to stay in here with me while i meet with the surpreme commander" she pointed at the man that she had saved from the edge of death and the one next to him, "and you two out side of course you should be in the secret room there" she pointed to the open door in the wall after asigning the only things she could think of that could protect her she sighed "and the rest can patrol the halls between here and my rooms which are next door" with that she then called for the serving girl as the men went to their postions asking her to fech the commander again

"Thank you, Lord Vermillion." Arkayid said quietly, absolutely exhausted. "I... appreciate it." Arkayid removed the armor, and Vermillion could see that Arkayid did not survive his retreat from Esperanza in one piece. The shirt he wore, which was normally a white, had red stains all over it, along with healing scales under the tears in the shirt. The Armor, while it had stopped many of the normally fatal blows, was not enough, and neither was Arkayid's natural armor. His wings, now that he had unfolded them, had large tears in them, with dried blood running down most of the wings.
"Don't worry about a bed-roll. A blanket will do fine. The floors of your room are softer then armor on rock. And Lemme tell yeh, I've slept on more armor on rock then beds or even floors. I, am now going to get cleaned up."
Arkayid stripped off the shirt tossed aside, with the rest of his armor.
Once inside the bathing room, with robe in hand, he tossed out the trousers he was wearing, and turned the bathtub into a Mud and Blood wallow.

(your not Rping by yourself, your just moving your character along till it comes to the point where others can rejoin it. I halfta let vermillion sleep, and i'm preparing to take on the mother of all npc loads. an entire race plus two kingdoms. i'll assist in whatever capactiy i have left. However the whole purpose of making Marta queen was so that she had diplomatic and political power. So in effect if she wanted to speak with someone played by another person other then yourself, you can.)

Marta decided against waiting for the supreme commander, he was probably to busy trying to find his dignity again. she stood up and walked out of the room, her new guards followed her making a four cornered square around her. as they passed her other wandering guards the protective square was added to. when she reached her royal quarters she posted two of the men on her balcony and the rest were to continue patrolling while she rested, sitting down in front of a mirrored dresser she looked into it "well if I'm going to be queen i might as well look like one ....." she called for a servant to draw her a bath in the adjoining room and help, a few more showed up to help her prepare. two of them went in and found her clothes that were queenly and meant for traveling she was bathed in a large clay tub with scented oil her hair was brushed out and when she was dried of all of her scars were covered with a makeup paste that hid them from prying eyes. she was then dressed and her hair was done up along with a light touch of makeup when she looked in the mirror again, she couldn't recognize her self.

Vermillion set the clothing in a folded pile beside the door and pointed his finger at it. Everything that was forigen to the cloth was pulled out of it and set into another piece of cloth that vermillion layed beside the pile. This newly stained cloth that had no importance was incinerated in the fire.
Moving onto the armor he repaired it and cast a new enchantment to protect against the metal shearing open from blunt force again. He set the armor next to a heavy blanket, he set a glass of water and a very tiny seed looking pod beside the water.
He looked over everything, and then went over and layed down on the bed. He was out in three beaths.

Marta stood up and walked to her door she made the four guards stay posted so no one could sneak into her rooms she then went to the throne room and sat down in the highly decorated throne if she made the gester of sitting next to it she wouldnt have any athroity with the people she woundered if they would do a cornation cermony for show of the people or just start calling her queen till the real queens wereabouts were found

(its been more then a few days and I'm chomping at the bit for some action, was waiting on Auren post, but however i must move on to push this storyline forward.)
Vermillion woke feling somewhat better, at least he was recharged enough to face the task of escorting the new queen to the temple ruins. First he would need to speak to the new queen who should by now be sitting upon her throne.
He looked towards the bath, and noticed arkayid was still in there, probably taking a weeks worth of grime of his skin, but Vermillion would fetch him later if need arose for his services. Vermillion dressed quickly, and left quietly through the door proceeding immediately to the throne room.

The commander returned to throne room with two ladies in tow. He moved up tot he foot of the steps and bowed low. "Magiesty, i have brought the two witnesses of the faith to confrim your asscention to high queen of Pearle. My soliders are currently dispatched in spreading word of your name far into the kingdom. The news has brought much in the way of joy, many are flocking tot he royal city to see you, and i hope my actions were not hasty or unwelcome."
The two ladies climbed the steps and stood to either side of the throne Marta sat in. "With the grace and wisdom of our god, and the token of this crown which carries great power of the people. We crown you your title Queen Marta the XXIV, Love live the queen." They both bowed and the one holding the crown gently set it upon Marta's head. They bowed again and withdrew to stand behind the commander who was still bowed.

Marta sat there looking down at the commander woundering why he all of a sudden was so willing to help her was it really the threat of vermillion that kept him in check or was it something else "i gracefully accepct the postion of High queen and pledge to do every thing in my power to keep the people happy and content" she said her hands folded in her lap as she inclined her head i a semi bow/nod
"commander your actions were not hasty but did you do the other things i commanded ...are you prepared to travel with me to the netural ground?" she asked her voice had changed completly she sounded less like a woman and more like a matriarch, commanding loyalty

Marta nodded an waved him off "very well go about your duties" she said sbsently her new royal guards were in a half circle around her throne two behind her and the rest around the front of her throne they acted like they had never served under the surpreme commander which pleased marta greatly she woundered if there were any civil aduciences she had to take care of she didnt feel ready to be presented as queen to the masses
