Oh boy.. What do I think, I'm not sure you want to know. But medically speaking you have a certain time frame to abort without killing anything.

Are you sure? What is this timeframe?

Quote:
And even if it is past that time frame I'd say it was the woman's decision. Some people are not meant to have children and those who are see it as a gift. Those who see it as an accident sometimes, sometimes are better off not having the child.

If they weren't ready for a child or didn't want a child, they should not have had sex. They should take responsibility for their actions, instead of wimping out and killing a child in order to save themselves a bit of trouble.

Quote:
We have enough children in this world who need families, who need to be adopted. For all of those who say "well put them up for adoption". Why so they can lead a life away from God because he/she had no up bringing? razz

You do not know what the child's life will be like. First of all, it could turn out to be a wonderful life. Second, even if the child's life will be difficult, no one else has the right to decide if that child would want to live through it or not.

Well if I remember correctly it's in the first 4 weeks of pregnancy. Where only the heart is being "made". Religously you could say the soul is there.. But medically there is no human form, the brain isnt even developing until 40 days. www.Abortionfacts.com

Here's some interesting info I found on that link of yours...

Is this being alive? Yes. He has the characteristics of life. That is, he can reproduce his own cells and develop them into a specific pattern of maturity and function. Or more simply, he is not dead.

Is this being human? Yes. This is a unique being, distinguishable totally from any other living organism, completely human in all of his or her characteristics, including the 46 human chromosomes, and can develop only into a fully mature human.

Is this being complete? Yes. Nothing new will be added from the time of union of sperm and egg until the death of the old man or woman except growth and development of what is already there at the beginning. All he needs is time to develop and mature.

I think abortion Is Wrong. It's pretty much Murder.

First or Second degree?

If first, prove malicious intent.

If second, prove it is being commited in the heat of passion, where malice may be implied.

The only time abortion should be done is if both would end up dead or the baby'll die anyway. If they dont want the kid tie ur stuff up, stop having sex or put them in adoption

This is Lexi, KayleeAnn's mother. As some of you know, I was raped when I was very young. The option of having an abortion was on the table for me. I talked the matter over with my mother and father, and told them that I wanted the baby, even though I was hurt. My parents wanted me to give KayleeAnn up for adoption, but I knew in my heart that there was something wonderful about the child God blessed me with. Even though, I got preganat in the most horrible way, and she was not created out of love, I knew God would bless me for giving her a chance to live.

KayleeAnn is a wonderful child, and I am so blessed to have her in my life. I believe that abortion should be avoided at all costs, even if rape is involved. I believe that adoption is a true out, and that a life should be given a chance, and not removed because it is not wanted. Each conception is a great blessing from our Father above.

less than 2% of all aborted babies are killed because of a rape, or a posible threat to the mother. every year the death tolls rack up to those of war statistics. the ways they are murderd are also very violent and disgusting. they dont give the child euthinasia, like they would a sick dog. instead they choose to tear the apart with prods, burn them, give them a premature birth and literally put them in the trash to die, slit their necks and vacume their brains out. how can you not see this as murder.

Never allow an English dictionary to suffice for legal terms, it is simply not right.

from http://dictionary.law.com/default2.asp?selected=1303&bold=||||
Legal Dictionary

murder
n. the killing of a human being by a sane person, with intent, malice aforethought (prior intention to kill the particular victim or anyone who gets in the way) and with no legal excuse or authority. In those clear circumstances, this is first degree murder... Second degree murder is such a killing without premeditation, as in the heat of passion or in a sudden quarrel or fight. Malice in second degree murder may be implied from a death due to the reckless lack of concern for the life of others (such as firing a gun into a crowd or bashing someone with any deadly weapon)

I wish there was a way to regulate abortions to prevent ones done just for the purpose of birth control.
