Hello, everyone!
I have come here for help in finding my element.
I think it might be Air, but I can't be certain...
I'm a Gemini, and my birthstone is Alexandrite.
I am not too fond of water, like when it comes to swimming or just being in it(unless I'm bathing, of course, which I have no problems with doing so.
I love the feel of wind blowing on/past me. Not only does it feel nice, but it gives me a sort of feeling that is very hard for me to put into words.
I live out in the country for now(I'm moving to another state, into the city...gonna miss being surrounded by nature!). No lakes, ponds, creeks or rivers where I live. Not a lot of mountains, either, just vast space and beautiful fields. I sometimes enjoy staring into flames, but I don't feel too strong of a connection there. And as for Earth, I don't feel as connected as I should...well, what I mean is that I enjoy being out in nature, but find myself indoors on most days...

Sachi, I'd agree with you: I think you're water element. Sagittarius is associated with the element fire, as is Topaz. These, like we've said many times in this thread are only guidelines. The most important is your personal connection with an element. Like Oshun said, we need to remember the balance.
xApsu, I think water is ruled out: both by the fact that you're not too fond of it, and that you're in the country but have no water surroundings. Gemini is associated with the air element, but I'm not too sure on what Alexandrite is.
Judging by your short description, fire and earth is also ruled out. xd
So, my conclusion: air. xd You've got a great connection with it, and even though this is only a guideline, Gemini is also an air element.

I'd say air, but experiment with elemental meditation. The more reassured you are, the better.... More confidence is never a bad thing in this case.

Hi ^-^ Could someone help me figure out my element?
I'm cancer and my birth stone is ruby ... I think lol.
Fire: Had a bad experience of it burning my fringe in science Dx but I love candles xD and especially lighting them xD It's like I'm scared of it's power yet mezmerised by it's look.
Water: I love the water heart I've always wanted a water feature in my room and love the beach and going swimming. I love the sound of water as well. Water heart
Earth: Ummm well I'm not really good with plants lol but I try.
Air: Firstly hights both freak me out and would never ever do something like bungee or sky diving or something like that but i love to look out from a hight ... so pretty especially at night.
Can anyone help me please?

I don't believe that things other than personal connection count for much. I'll see what others say, but water and fire seem good for you. Once again I'll suggest elemental meditation and seeing which one you're more in tune with.

I could spend hours and hours just swimming and being in the water sweatdrop xp I feel a little less connected to fire mainly because I'm not allowed to light candles in my house due to my parents crying

I define myself as Water due to my personality my secondary changes with my mood but most of the time its Air. I am born an Aries the ram (sigh) and that’s fire element. Chinese zodiac is the Rat under the Wood Element I guess all and all im am connected all around. (A little off track but... I does have a point) also I have to try and keep items scattered around that represent each element in that element direction. If something is messed up about it I am off balance and can’t focus.

i'm pretty sure i'm air.
aquarius, um i think my birthstone is garnet and um the place i live in, um out back australia, flat land, dry, sunny not alot of rain. um very, open.. i dunno..

b. chinese: it said snake but i dont know

Water:
I like water, but I'm afraid swimming alone or under water.
Air:
at time i wish i could fly.
Earth: i care for nature but i dont like being out side for very long.

I totally agree with this, I don't think that you can rely on your birth signs and such to tell you your element. The only reliable way is to work with each of the elements. A day with each is good in my experience and see which you connect with most easily. Of course it is good to balance the elements within yourself but you will find you lean towards one more predominantly. I'm an earth element, not just because I connect strongly with the earth, plants and earth spirits but also because of my personality traits.

Let's see now...
1) Zodiac - I am a Scorpio (fixed Water) in Western, and I was born in the Year of the Snake (Fire, I believe)
2) Birthstone - Turmaline, maybe? I'm not exactly sure abou it, so...
3) Geological Surroundings - Lots of trees, water, air, and fire...
4) Personal Connection -
Fire: The flame of passion for me.
I love it's raw power, and the way that the light hits the area.
And I love the heat. Great for a winter's day with your lover smile
Water: Whenever it rains, I get the urge to go out and just stand/sit in it.
I love swimming too, but don't really like drinking it.
Earth: The energy that I feel coming from the ground is astounding.
I love getting dirty in the mud, and it nourishes food (and I like food!)
Air: Whenever I'm in the country, I always breathe deeply.
I like the smell of the air as well, whether it be in the spring, summer, fall, or winter (Autumn and Winter are my fave smells though).
