Unlike Vercellius's rigid attack patterns and trained attack process, Snow resorted to the traditional format of Iaido combat, especially effective as counters and counterdefenses. Both hands were held unevenly in a limp manner, while he closed his eyes for a second.

His hooded frame expelled an unnatural wind, and as his eyes opened to confront the opponent, the pupils betrayed the essence of the glowing color of red, the markings of a demon.

Left leg first, it was then that Snow charged forth as well, the left arm slightly crossed over his chest while the right hand trailed to the side at the ready.

At the last possible second as he will collide with Vercellius, he went to a left side stance and gave a shoulder thrust, the left arm still lightly held near his chest, the right still in the same previous stance as before.

When Snow threw himself into a shoulder thrust Vercellius shifted upon the ball of his right foot. Effectively shifting his mass out of the way of the attack.

His right arm snaked out and closed around the trailing wrist of Snow's right hand. Continueing his pivot his left leg going in a slow upwards arc to kick the feet out from under Snow.

Moving his left hand foward he let loose the infra sonic wave at point blank range at the mass of his target.

Expecting that Vercellius would rely too much on the resonator, Snow anchored his momentum to his own right leg, using it as a fulcrum as he swiveled immediately to face the opponent. The right leg was then angled so that the axis was faced away from the sweep, allowing Snow to withstand the possibility of being thrown off balance by the cheap tactic.

Taking the advantage that Vercellius now has grappled his right hand, he then locked arm with the opponents right and used it as another device to increase his centrifugal force and damage, his left foot going in a low right roundhouse kick towards the opponents right torso, near the lower section of the ribcage.

As for the opponents Infra sonic boom, his left hand injected some energy into the air right around the area of Vercellius's left side, leaving a temporary void of airless space to stop the boom prematurely before it can even leave the opponent's wrist.

That is one reason why Snow kept his left arm across his chest, a safe guarding measure.

Seeing as how Vercellius' own move had brought them face to face and for Snow to stop his foward momentum with his right leg would bring it directly into contact with Vercellius' sweeping kick as he had executed everthing from the grapple to the kick with only the sonic attack following a half second behind the others at the same moment. Vercellius didn't do one thing at a time, he moved with a precision trained into him from long years of close quarters knife fighting.

His left leg would hook about the right as he bent his knee and pulled it back up.

The locking of right limbs together only played into Vercellius' plan, the arm seemed to spasm out of control as the muscle shifted and warped. Any spot Snow held onto his right arm would find itself pierced by dozens of sharp spikes that had sprouted.

Snow would become off ballance if he tried to follow through with his round house kick. If he did his left leg would open up so it was straight, releasing Snow's right leg which would have been pulled out from under his central mass.

Vercellius would then follow this by bringing his left foot down to the ground and raising his right shin up to block the attack, this would all be done if he continued with that attack.

To negate the sound wave Snow had created a vacuum, the displaced air quickly rushed back to fill the void, pulling the two combatants in closer. Knowing this Vercellius sent his head crashing foward to ram the highest portion of his forehead into the bridge of Snow's nose.

"!!"

Unable to grasp upon the rigged body of Vercellius, Snow succumbed to the free fall and yanked his weight backward, raising both arms while he gave a back tumble away from Vercellius's trick. The void that filled with air did bring his face closer to the opponent, but with the leg already displaced from the ground, Snow avoided the clash just briefly as he, instead of finishing the roundhouse kick, suddenly anchored his left on the torso before pushing himself off away from Vercellius, doing a backflip to the ground before checking the damage.

Bloody, his right arm was pierced in multiple spots. Taking a small bit of blood from the flowing wound, he rubbed around the arm's perimeter before looking up, the wounds slowly regenerating from the leeching of energy in the air.

"....Just how many things do you have under there?" He questioned, looking at the inhuman aspects of Vercellius.

There would be no chance for Snow to speak his words. Vercellius had released his grip and leapt back as a gale force wind sweeped through the area.

Ithaqua had been watching, waiting for a point when the two would seperate to perform its attack. An attack that had forced Snow to the ground with enough momentum behind it to force the air from the man's lungs.

That was only the beginning, Snow would feel from now an oppresive weight as Ithaqua pressed down upon him with a higher concentration of air, thickening it to the point he might as well be swimming in it.

Crushed to the ground, alas, it was very similar to the previous move that he was attempting to do when he drew the barrier around Vercellius. Too bad it didn't work, and now the cards have been played against him.

....No choice.

Flattening his palm out upon the ground, the previous orbs that were already dissippated before now materialized again, revolving itself around the trapped figure of Snow. Instead of its loaded assault that tried to catch Vercellius off guard, the orbs imploded upon themselves suddenly as it turned into a vortex, sucking in all the air and energy around Snow like a cataclysmic whirlpool. Wind that blew around Snow were now being sucked into those black orbs that radiated as Snow got up slowly, some blood still dripping down his right arm.

"......"

The orbs were like miniature black holes, absorbing the energy into who knows where as the howling got stronger, and the wind was even succumbing to the lack of buildup around Snow while his face was masked by the rumpled hood.

Ithaqua, Shaggoth, the gods and deities that Vercellius oh so calls upon...
Foul play, and Snow is not going to play by the rules anymore.

The imploding orbs began to disperse themselves around the entire area like droplets, humming with a melancholic tone as the ground itself started to darken, molds of darkness clawing its way lightly out of the earthen soil. It wasn't primed, and it certainly wasn't summoning, but the shadows acted as if it had a mind of its own, while the wind died around the pulsing black vortex...in which it surrounded Snow, killing off Ithaqua's own attack with steadiness.

And so Ithaqua did what was only sane in such a situation. It reversed its tatics and began to draw the air from the area. With the combined force of the two vacuums going at it the area around Snow would become drained of any air.

Snow's voids had been rendered useless as Ithaqua held the air back away from them, black hole like objects. It would be deadly for Snow to play around with such things for they had taken all the air from the area around him for a good meter.

And then they imploded, spreading out, but still Ithaqua held the barrier up, leaving Snow trapped as he was in a vacuum.

Vercellius dodged droplets of the orbs and couldn't be bothered as the land about him changed. So be it, he hadn't displayed all of his abilities just yet; but then he wanted to play one cruel twist.

The shoggoth was a creature which could rob a man of his sanity, it could send out mental links to those around in an attempt to posion there minds. Vercellius was to plant a sublte suggestion into Snow's head, 'You want a whore?'

With reference to the dark force around the ground, and to Ithaqua's uncanny abilities in air, from all the actions that Snow did, did he not show that he too is a good manipulator of the element of air?

Wrapping his arms around himself, it was a past reflection of what Vercellius did during the angle outs. As Vercellius had managed to cross the threshold of the multiverse, Snow too is able to perform a similar task...
But through the element of something more different.

At once, Snow dropped unto the ground below him as he then entered his own shadow, followed by him appearing from his own casted orbs as he gate-jumped out, a few decameters away from Vercellius.

Shadow hopping. So goes the term, but to spectators who view this shift, they call it like that.

He never heard Vercellius's suggestion, since he previously was immersed in the vaccuumed state of Ithaqua's making. As sound required air to transmit from place to place, Snow was previously placed in an air-free environment, therefore with Vercellius doing nothing but talking to a deaf man. Yet now, out of the barrier, he raised his arms, the droplet of orbs spreading itself ever more around the entire stadium, continuing his action, his abilities, and the move that was to be used with that gesture...

Vercellius stood carefully, the entire area would be a dancing ground for them to twist and vanish through now. It would prove amusing to see what would happen now.

Though it did annoy him that the mental notion he had sent hadn't even gotten a responce. Sagging his shoulders he went into a crouch and was gone. His foot work and bending down had shifted him through an angle and he was behind Snow.

"You know, it's going to become pretty pointless if we continue this much longer. We'll just keep hopping about."

And as though to prove his point he was gone again, appearing a dozen meters from Snow.

"So what say you?"

"Your point?" Snow murmured, slapping his hands together before the entire ground is covered in black.

Orbs gave small sizzling actions while it crackled and flared to life. The density of all of the miniature droplets now increased in mass as Snow then unsheathed his blade again, only one for now.

Though his right hand is utterly useless to hold the blade, he held it on his left, letting the recovery moment shield and heal his right hand to optimal status.

"Hopping around, jumping about..."

He stabbed the ground unwillingly, disliking what Vercellius is inferring to.

And so it would be, Vercellius gave an expansive sigh and a shrug as Snow spoke and as the words faded from Snow's tongue Vercellius was gone from sight.

The thrust to stab the sword into the ground would give him all the time he needed. Coming out as the blade began to drive its tip into the dark earth Vercellius' right hand shot forth and a spike grew from his palm, bursting flesh in a horror of pain that swept through his body like fire.

Going through the pain that was so familiar to him as the shoggoth was breaching into the material verse from the center of the dark universe where it mindlessly danced with their dark lord Azathoth, the Daemon Sultan.

The spike would be thrusted towards the small of Snow's back, should is pierce to the fullest length it would impale the man clean through.

With the soft muttering of "闇魔天斬", Snow swiveled around quickly after Vercellius's angling out and hit the opponent's arm with his left, directing the spike away from hitting the target, but instead piercing Snow's left shoulder joint.

Grinning bashfully, as this final attack will render himself paralyzed for a good few hours in the end, he jabbed his right fingers right in contact to Vercellius's armor and flesh, near the center chest, the shadows which laid dormant beneath the two rupturing out loud with a banshee cry.

For two posts, the environment was set to prepare, and Snow finally wielded the commands to execute as he delivered his final blow against this unhuman-like counterpart.

Tentacles of darkness sprung out from the ground and wrapped itself around Vercellius's legs to immobilize and lock him down. The orbs which were dispersed around the arena quickly created a barrier around him and the opponent before it bombarded Vercellius from all angles, all sides, homing missiles that cleaved and carved its way around the ground again and again...faster and faster in a mix of blurring motions. Snow too was caught in the fray, but the orbs criss-crossed this way and that as it went to pierce and rip apart the man standing in front of him. Had he been able to use the sword, Snow could have tried a deadlier format of this attack...but for now, this will have to suffice.

The tentacles started to pull the damned opponent downwards, for it shall fuse the opponent's flesh upon the very ground he stood on. For where his legs should be, rocks and soil shall be fused with his blood vessels and muscle. The further he falls, the further the fusion....

Until organ and nature are merged as one, for when Vercellius's sinks to the groin, it is thus that marks the end of the battle.

It was pure chaos, the multitude of horrors that seeked to visit ruin upon Vercellius. He could only howel at the giddy nature of it all, his calm composure gone, replaced by the insanity that had corrupted his mind over the many years.

Tendrils and coils went to pull at him after the man had jabbed him with his right hand. So be it, but then he got a full hit of the infra sonic wave straight to the head at that moment. Vercellius had gripped Snow's head and pressed his palm straight against his face.

And then there was the pull, the very nature of the world seemed to want to pull him down, but the chaos of the situation provided many an angle, shapes contorting and shifting with the pure chaos that had caused him to first fall to its might.

In a rapture of joy he danced through the angles and back, only to go through the process again and again as his mind twisted and contorted. And then he was no longer there, his wild dance had moved him far away. He had brought himself to the court of Azathoth where he would rewrite his name in blood in that dread black book Nyralathotep possesed.

Failure....
Defeat....

Chaos has backstabbed and killed the ground that Snow once stood on. Recoiling back from the endless fury of his mind, shattered unto Oblivion, he fell to the ground crumpled, unconscious and immobile.

Darkness swelled and dissippated, followed by the ending gleam of the world. The wind blew once more, softly...but no further.

Not dead, but not even alive, he could only wait in the sidelines of death till the darkness shall revitalize his damaged body, to succumb to the throes of darkness itself...

Damn you, Vercellius. Damn it all...
