Too bad B&N doesn't respect the Holiday.

Today people gave away free comic books? I just can't see that being good for business.

No, there were special comics and collectables that were given away free today.

I know that had they given away, they would have been shitty, but one would have been nice. They could have used this opportunity to promote the new movie.

I'm not saying it was horrible, just that it wasn't anything I would put with my the rest of my SW comics.

Can anyone give me some reviews on the Legacy comics? I'm thinking about reading them.

Legacy comics:
The story of Cade Skywalker, and the sith born anew. Unlike in previous scenarios, the force, good, evil, everything is in a shade of grey. Cade's using the Dark Side, but he's not fallen. Krayt was a jedi who turned to the dark side to forge order into a chaotic empire. The empire inheriently is good, although a bit machiavellian. The republic, while good, is nearly non-existant.
It's definately a new flavor for the series. It's not some dichotomy anymore of white and black, and a couple mandos being grey to provide some neutral interest. The main characters are all twisted and confused. Which makes for either a very good or very bad read.
But msot people say it's very good.
And it's not entirely focused on glowsticks and force monkeys. You get insights on admirals, priests, and plenty of galactic scum.

That's more akin to what I was looking for. I suppose I'll get another issue (considering the one I have now came out around the beginning of the year).

Yeah, they're not the best I've read, but definitely worth paying for.

Greetings, all. just curious if you guys can help direct me on something.
A friend of mine is a fan of the comics after the Original triology. What are good graphic novels set that compliment the Thrawn saga?
