Cheesy things are good sometimes. XD No, I doubt Rin is in the Akatsuki. If the leader is revealed before the female member, and if the leader is the Yondaime, then I might suspect that. Or, Obito -could- be Tobi, but then I don't think Rin and the Yondaime, or at least Rin, would be in the Akatsuki.
I just think..it would be cool if Rin was because she just seemed to drop off the face of the planet. u.u;;
..And since Deidara just magically got his arms back, then if the female/extremely gay(XD) Akatsuki member -isn't- Rin, then they are probably a medic nin..or, the leader is. Or Kakuzu, or Hidan is. Which would make me laugh very hard. o_O;; Or....Tobi is! Yeah.....that's it...-totallydoesn'tthinkgthat-
...-cough- Here's my theory. Obito is Tobi. Zetsu used to have three personalities, but he killed one of them off to bring Obito back to life. Rin was originally the Akatsuki leader, but she wasn't leader material, so she used her 1337 medical skills to revive the Yondaime without dying herself! :33 (..Please note that this is total crack and I do not actually believe this to be a plausible theory.)

Well it only looks like Deidara has one arm back (I doubt he'll get the other back).....I can't believe they let Tobi in rofl
ummm...Yondaime is dead and doesn't seem like the akatsuki type so I doubt he's the leader and I doubt Rin is part of them as well. The leader has to be a different/new character. Their could be a medic in the akatsuki, but I doubt is Rin, don't make sense to me (there are tons of medics out there).
It could be possible that Tobi is Obito, maybe they just assumed he died and left him and later someone found him and was able to help me, that makes more sense then the whole "yondaime is the leader" thing, at least to me anyways.

Lets see...the Yondaime could be leader because.....well, for one, he could feel guilty about sealing the kyuubi in Naruto. And, who better to control a bijuu than someone powerful? Hence where the criminals come in. Eh, I don't know, but I think its possible.
Rin, either way, needs to be confirmed that she is actually dead, or, she needs to show up again. Because, she just dropped off the face of the planet like every single person who reads Naruto is going to forget about her. >.< -flails-

Because, she just dropped off the face of the planet like every single person who reads Naruto is going to forget about her. >.< -flails- true, here only role in the manga was in kakashi's gaiden i don't like tobi, he seems weak to be in the akasuki but he is a new character (or not) and we don't know his powers

albino_penguin_333 I bet they just let Tobi in the Akatsuki so they could laugh at how pathetic he is. xd I think Deidara would have fun picking on him (I feel bad for both Tobi and Zetsu, everybody is so mean to them....Tobi just makes things funny).

Nope. Actually, it seems to me that a lot of the members report to him. So...he's one of the higher-ups? x3
I love Tobi and Zetsu. Tobi acts cute, and Zetsu...has a freaking Venus flytrap for a head. Which rocks.
