Hargun looked a little shocked for a moment, Cass was someone she had definately not heard from in ages, and really worried about what shape she was in right now.. she mustve changed so much that she wouldnt be recognizable. Though it did spark some curiousity in Harg; to see what was to truly become of everyone.
"Heh.. the doctors are all psycho. Putting random s**t on us just to make us look funky." she said. "Ive seen one or two other people with these extra er.. appendages if you wanna call em that. I dont feel too awkward since so many people have these added features." she said and yawned a little.
((Speaking of yawning, Im yawning my head off. x_x might wanna wrap soon if not pause I guess))

Nita nodded in agreement. "Yeah, there's definitely some weird stuff going on around here." Hargun's yawn was contagious and Nita rubbed her forehead. She was getting a bit of a headache, and the heat was starting to get to her.
"Hey, I should probably get this stuff into the fridge," she said, indicating the boxes of food next to her. "It was nice talking to you though." Nita stood up and brushed at the back of her jeans.

Harg nodded and stood up as well, stretching her arms a little then waved them at Nita with a smile. "Nice talking to yah too. Maybe Ill get out a little more. We could talk another time." she said and began to walk off towards her duplex praying it was there waiting for her.

Nita gathered up the boxes of food, suddenly feeling a bit lightheaded. She shook her head to clear it.
"I'm in duplex 42," she called after Hargun. "Stop by some time, if you want!" With that, Nita turned down the path to her own duplex, looking foreward to the air-conditioning and maybe a bit of a nap to get rid of her headache.

Awen sat under one of the village's artificially planted trees. She had been cooped up in her duplex for the passed day. She had been brooding a lot about what happened with Sabin the other day. She attempted to get in contact with him twice that day but the frenchmen had been 'unavalible' both times.
She decided to go out for some fresh air, and actual air not water for once. She didn't really seem like she was looking at anbything in particular just sort of watching the commings and goings of the islanders.

Hargun found the previous day a bit enlightening, getting to meet someone who didnt seem overly dramatic about the island. Hoping shed be able to enjoy the same kind of meeting again, she set out into the village and looked around curiously, hoping to find someone to talk to. She had nothing better to do now that shed tried the only thing lingering on her mind.
She passed by a bit of shrubbery but something caught her eye not too far off, something blueish and.. almost human?

Awen tilted her head as she saw the orange hair and brown fur started down the path. Now this was a surprise. She gave a bright smile, though she was unsure if the poor bat could actually see it.
"Hello!" She grinned and waved. It had been a long time since she saw Hargun. She tried to remember.... it wasn't at the Halloween Party, was it? Wow... How time flies..

Harg made a jump at the thing talking to her then jogged fowards a bit, squinting her eyes then smiling faintly. "..A..Awen? That you?" she asked, then looked shocked as she noticed Awen's body had changed a whole lot.
"Goodness, its uh.. been quite a while hasnt it? And you look.. VERY different." she admitted, sheepish expression growing across her fuzzy face.

Awen chuckled a little bit. "Yeah been awhile Hargun hun!" She glanced back and put her hand on the tree she was leaning against. She supported herself on the tree as she stood up.
"You, don't seem to have changed a lick since I saw you last though." She shook her head slowly. "Beautiful as always!" For some reason seeing her old friend brought Awen back to a time before all of the drama started. She was very happy to see one of the people she hadn't seen in awhile. "So where the heck have you been hiding anyway?"

Hargun giggled slightly and snorted at the comment she recieved. "Heh.. not THAT beautiful.." she said and scratched at her cheek lightly. "Erm.. Ive been in totally different places. One minute Im in the wild in a cave, then back in my duplex, then in the facilities recovering from a broken arm."
She grumbled a bit when she reminded herself of all the crap she had to go through but didnt make it very obvious she was irked. To cover up any expression that escaped, she grinned at Awen and put her wing.. hands things to her hips. "So how have you been? other than these mondo changes.."

"Ah... you know... this and that. In and out of a relationship, changes, drama with someone on the island.... ooorr... rather... a few people." She shook her head as faces of Antony, Fee, Billy and Cert come instantly to mind at those words. She seemed a little annoyed at bringing up such things as well and just laughed a bit.
"Mostly it's been the changes though... A fish, wouldn't you have guessed! Well...a manta ray anyway...er..are they fish?" She shrugged briefly before continuing. "Anyway, I'm at least thankful that they didn't choose like.. a small weak fish or something... as far as I know mantas aren't really afraid of anything in the water. Not like a small fish, that wouldn't have gotten me anywhere, right?"

"Ah.. people and their relationships." she chuckled. "I preffer not to get in them.. always too emotional. My group of friends is just fine with me." she said and brushed through a strand of her hair, thumb-like claw embarassingly getting stuck for a moment in a knot.
"Yea.. it had to be something full of irony. But heh, manta rays are a lot better than any old fish. Unique too. I guess that would explain the uhm.. attenea things?" she added, blindly pointing to her own face as to where they were on Awen's. "And I guess not fearing anything would mean very very few predators eh?"

Awen blushed a bit at the mention of her attena, prong, horn...face things. She had been hoping they would keep growing from her forhead, but after this last change she knew that wasn't going to happen. And what did Amaya say? There was probably one more after this? Awen still held to the belief that there wasn't much left they could manta about her. Though she doubted that would be enough...
"Um yeah... I think only sharks or...er..something like that. Not many creatures bother taking down a manta, not sure why. Not many natural defences from what I know." She paused and then looked down at herself. "Well you know, no teeth, no claws, no tentacles, no bottle noses or sharp points." She shrugged. "Not that I'm complaining." She chuckled.
"But I wonder why you haven't changed more. I mean... I've changed three times since I saw you last, and you seemed to change much quicker than me at first." She gave a puzzling frown in Hargun's direction. "But I guess I shouldn't mention..might give the docs ideas hm?"

"Heh, least youre not dangerous. Graceful and cool-looking.. that works as the perfect defense." she said and glanced up at the horns sprouting from her head; those were her only defenses despite the very dull and short fangs in her mouth, and claws on her toes; and the horns werent even part of the bat.
"Yea, Im starting to wonder the same.. some islanders have gotten like this then saw a change ages later. But I wouldnt doubt they injected me or already planned my next change while I had that broken arm, so its alright to mention." she said shrugging.

Awen nodded and couldn't help a small smile. Cool and graceful looking? Neat!
"I hope it doesn't come for awhile in any case?" She shook her head and sighed.
She started scratching her arms and looked down noticing her skin was getting awefully cracked. "Damnit.... I really wish this wouldn't happen... Sorry Hargun hun, I don't want to do this but.. I have to run. After this starts itching it starts to burn kind of. So, I should go hydrate myself..." She blushed a little bit listening to herself. Cool looking, graceful and as pained as lips in winter, though Awen doubted that she could get enough lip chap to cover her entire body. Or could she....? Hmm...
Awen turned around and shook her head with a laugh as she started backwards towards the duplexes. "But really... we should see eachother more Hargun, okay?"
