Its glowing eyes pierced through the loosely created Bakudou attempt. Its fiery red eyes continued to spark with its tormented insanity as it shifted back- dodging the small shinigami's swordswing. The being then roared, with its regular hollow-esque roar, and began to release the building up fireball onto its opponents.

Its innate senses found that the weakest amongst its pray was the young shinigami. So it launched it savage fire ball at Kaosu- aiming to cull the weakest of the small shinigami herd.

Ugu, unable to stop such a technique and furious that his earlier technique did not work, turned to zanjutsu. He charged forward and aimed a quick slash at the hollow's right arm. The shinigami didn't stop at one swing, though, and made another bezerker-like swing at the monster's white mask.

"You ugly piece of..." Kaosu spat as he simultaneously missed and saw the dangerous fireball coming after him. Unfortunately, Kaosu wasn't in a position to dodge and, out of ideas, placed his zanpaku-to in the way of the fiery blast. He could only hope it would work...
However, it didn't. The fire just parted around the weak block attempt and hit Kaosu straight in the chest, knocking him back. It was official, Kaosu was now burnt like some failed cooking attempt, he was techinically half-naked, and the pain was almost unbearable. The steam and smoke came off his body as it was freshly scorched.
"Ow." Kaosu managed before laying his head down on the ground. Twice in a row I've been hit. I truly must be horrible at fighting. What's wrong with me? Kaosu coughed hard, and tried moving. Finally, after quite a bit of extreme agony and resistance, Kaosu returned to standing. He didn't want to waste any energy speaking, only fighting.

Kaosu tried to put away the pain at hand and deal with the hollow, and he did; for a while. Kaosu, taking this moment of 'tranquility', charged the hollow. He reached it's knee, jumped atop it, and launched upwards towards the hollow's mask. His upward momentum stopped just in front of the white mask it possessed, and Kaosu reeled back and swung with both his arms in a pure rage attempt to strike the hollow.
This was one of those rare occasions where Kaosu just 'lost it' and cared about nothing besides hitting something, this time happening to be the thing that hurt him. It was rather animalistic, but it was once of those cases where his instinct had helped him survive. Kaosu could only hope, later when he calmed down, that it wasn't a mistake.

Ugu took a step back as the psychotic shinigami sped past him. Kaosu seemed to have gone into a mad craze that seemed to have been developed by some inner desire to survive. Frowning upon this fact the shinigami switched his sword hand to his left and swung it up at Kaosu's exposed back. A pale green energy swam out of the sword's tip in hope of seeping onto the young shinigami's backside.

As he swung upwards with his sword, which inhabited his left hand, the man pointed his right hand at the lower body of the large hollow. Ugu began chanting as he poured some reiatsu into the fine tips of his fingers. "Shakkahou ("Red Flame Gun")," the shinigami said, after the echoing chant. A gather flourish of redish chakra swam around his finger tips as he began to release the dangerous technique toward the hollow's waist.

Since the monster would find defending Kaosu's and Ugu's attacks difficult, the likelyhood of damaging the hollow rose. Hopefully these attacks landed so that he could return to have his bath and training. He also hoped that the battle would continue- this type of fighting would be perfect experience for both him and Kaosu. The challenge for Ugu was keeping the psychotic youth alive and fighting at the same time. Kaosu was just getting regular fighting experience. It's still the same, though, and both of the shinigami were learning.

In one quick leap the hollow dodged the attacks of the two shinigami. It swurved over them with its mighty jump and it found itself in the pool that Ugu had earlier swam in. The monster roared as it sought a method of killing these two fighters quickly so it could get its dinner.
The bigger one, the one who had just used some form of healing magic and kidou, was the stronger one. He also seemed to be healing the weaker one and allowing the smaller shinigami to continue to live. The hollow knew it couldn't kill the small shinigami in one hit- so whatever attacks were launched on the weaker one would be healed by the bigger shinigami.
So attacking the smaller shinigami would be useless. It would have to attack the large shinigami in hopes that the shinigami didn't know how to do self-healing spells. Or run. The hollow unlatched its jaw as it focused another powerful build up of reiatsu into its mouth. Drae-Igle then unleashed the fireball at Ugu.

When Kaosu missed the attack, and his wounds had been healed, Kaosu returned to what could only be referred to as 'normal' as far as Kaosu goes. He shook his head, and ran at the Hollow again, sword raised.
This time, when the committed to himself to the swing directed at the hollow's knee, he pulled out of it at the last minute and jumped vertically, with the intent of dragging his sword through the hollow's skin from his leg to his head.

Ugu, with both of his hands on his released zanpakutou, made a large swing at the incoming blast of flame. It dissipated on contact. As Kaosu made way to attack the Hollow he too charged forward with his zanpakutou raised high. Egeus, with its fearsome length of seven feet, would soon chop down at the hollow's white mask. And with Kaosu going from the bottom to the top and with Ugu's sword smashed from above to below, the hollow would find dodging a tricky affair.

Drae-Igle made a quick step back. Its black legs splashed the water as it moved out of the way of Kaosu's upper cut. However, it couldn't dodge the longer, and much stronger, blade belonging to the larger shinigami. Its mask was hit by the blade and nearly shattered because of it. The hollow's mask remained intact, though, as it made a quick charge forward.

It moved quickly toward the two shinigami. With one mighty step it splashed water onto the probably already soaked death gods. As it stepped forward its mighty black fists zoomed toward the faces of the fighters. Its right fist whizzed toward Ugu's scarred face and the hollow's left smashed forward at Kaosu's fairly burnt nose.

Kaosu cursed himself inside his head when he missed. But, left it for after the battle as the hollow took immediate initiative. Kaosu placed his hands in front of his face in order to prevent water getting into his eyes. When the wave had ended, Kaosu opened his eyes and saw the hollow going for a fistful of his face.
Crap. Kaosu thought as he made a split-second decision. This better work. Kaosu dropped down, crouching very close to the ground, in order to avoid the humongous fist of the hollow.

Karite jumped in sensing the battle and landed softly on a branch. His mind was still lost and was longing for battle. It was slowly coming back. He was holding himself back from helping the two shinigami. He was enjoying watching and soon he could train with Ugu again. It was going to be awhile considering the way the battle was looking, but Ugh and Kaosu seemed to be handling themselves well. "Watch and study, these two are strong and they can teach you much."

Ugu's sword flicked upward to parry the hollow's massive black hand. He then shifted to the side, splashing water as he went, in order to separate himself from Kaosu. By doing this the hollow would, hopefully, attack him again- as he was the only one moving and more of a threat. Hopefully.

Drae'Igle then attacked, as predicted. Its massive black body twisted-opening its back to Kaosu-and smashed its hands towards the large shinigami. Ugu easily blocked the incoming fists and pushed both of the hollow's fists away with his mighty zanpakutou. Without a moment to loose the shinigami brought up his sword into attacking position.
He shifted his whole fighting form. Water splashed backwards as he shifted his whole body to face his right. His mighty hands gripped around his zanpakutou's two feet long hilt, and twisted the long shikai's blade to point at the lone hollow. Ugu's hands fled from his left (where the hollow was current stationed) down to his hips.
With his blade still pointing at the hollow the First Squad member stabbed forward. Egeus' thunderous wailing shattered forward into the mask. As it entered for the first stab it sent the hollow's white mask flying in several thousand small pieces. Then he withdrew his blade and made a shift of fighting style once more.
Ugu's right foot flew through the water in an 180 degree turn. He swung his zanpakutou up toward the hollow's exposed face in order to hack its final remnants of its heart into submission. The hollow's body then shattered, just as its mask had, and it fizzled into nothingness.
He sheathed his zanpakutou then turned to Kaosu. "Are you alright, Kaosu?" he asked, hoping that the student hadn't been burnt too much during the fight with the hollow.
