The stairways is so choked with rubble that using that exit would require quite a bit of clearing, if anyone has passed here it was prior to whatever filled the stair with rubble. There are no signs of passage.

The doorway has a large double door, it is open slightly, there are scrape marks in the grime on the floor, evidence perhaps of recent movement. Beyond the doors, through the opening between them, you glimpse a dark hallway.

He steps away from the gnome and begins to walk toward the door.

Galvin pulls his simitar from the scabbard oh his back, and slowly walks in lighting up more of the hallway beyond!

" Stay here I will scout ahead and the give you a signal to come, who nows what lurks in the shadows beyond."

Looks back at the others waiting for approval.

I pull out my hooded lantern, lighting it so that we can see from the door"that's a fine idea by me, but should you need help, call, and I shall come as fast as my legs can carry me"

He follows Galvin down the hallway and scans for anything that moves.

I wait by the entrance as the Cleric and Ranger continue in the dark, my lantern in my hand. As I see the Bard begin to follow, I grab his arm to stop him"Wait, they are just scouting for now. If too many of us follow, it will not be an effective scouting group. Let them go for now, they will call if they need us. And I doubt you care to put yourself in unneccesary danger, am I right?"

Delphine slowly follows the voices from down the hall, after all she must investigate any possibilities if she is to escape. As the voices get louder she loudly says, "Who's there?" She continued down the hall, hoping she did not startle whoever was down there, shortspear in hand, just in case they were not friendly.
