Zhalavidra placed a hand on her friend's shoulder, a reassuring smile on her face "Do not worry, Jango, you will be redeemed, I just know it, after all, the officials of Tamriel are strict, but not heartless. You just have to prove that you are different from our enemies, with your actions. And I will speak up for you as well if need be, but only if you have given it your all to prove yourself beforehand" She turned and went over to her bag, and figured out what she would take. She opened a portal to her chamber in her home, and returned a few seconds later with an armored backpack complete with breastplate and shoulders. Her special travel armor. She had a nice supply of Wyrm Bread, a special kind of cracker made by her tribe that keeps a person nourished for days, and some Dragonia Spirits, for any free time they might have, as well as gifts for any possible high officials. Finally, she had a special medic kit, containing various oils and ointments for tending to various injuries, as well as Threadfruit Powder for tending to large or deep wounds and cuts. She turned to Kasumi "We are ready, I appreciate you arranging Ral to stay, though he is a friend of mine, he does not get along with Jango, and though his reasons are just, it is wise to avoid any possible conferontatiosn that may result due to their hostility toward each other" she gave a shady look to Zhavajango, who was standing there looking impatient "I implore of you, please keep memory of all that we will do, as a witness to his word that he will redeem himself and prove he is nothing like our enemies. As a Blade of Tamriel, I ask that you please keep record of his goodwill and see where his loyalties truly lie. I am ready to go, is there anything you would have me do until your preparations are made? My armor is all I need, Vesian Armor is very useful, as it can withstand almost any sort of magic that may be thrown at it, and instead absorbs it completely. Perhaps not as effective as reflecting it back at an opponent, but it at least protects the wearer. Jango, you should go finish your preps as well"

"Yeah alright, be right back" Zhavajango entered the portal, and returned a few seconds later with the Pteron Tribe version of the Vesian Armor; instead of having an armored backpack, the container was located on the belly, just below the breastplate. He faced Kasumi with eyes full of resolve "I have everything I need here, as well as my Vesian armor; our armor is one of our Tribal Heirlooms, and only we are allowed to don them. I brought our Tribal Threads as well, it is time we donned them" He tossed a set of Crimson robes with black scaly trim to her. He then put on his own set of robes, which were black with crimson feathery trim. "This is not just a journey to redeem myself in the eyes of Tamriel and the Dragonia, but it is also my Final test; if I am successful and our Tribe is restored, I will recieve the Royal Headress that signifies the Grand Alpha of the Pterons. Therefore, I thank you, Miss Kasumi, for allowing me to accompany you on this journey"

She laid a map down on a table and began to plan a route. She ignored much of what was being said. "Good to know. We'll be making a couple of pit stops that are out of the way. I need to go to check on something in Leyawin, Cheydinhal, Choral and then in Anvil. They're all duties I must attend to. Like collecting my gold. Other wise it's gonna be a long swim to the Summer Set Isles." She then grabbed the map and rolled it up and put it in her bag. "OK once on the rode I have to speak to you about the mission we are about to accomplish." She left the room they were in and walked up to Ral. "I'm going to go and search for Divine artifacts in Summer Set. Watch this place will you? I'm taking the bird and lizard woman with me." "Fine that will mean less problems here. I'll inform the Emperor." With that Kasumi walked out toward the gates to wait for the others two. "Jeez I hate these mountains. So cold here. It will be nice to get to Summer Set. Too bad it's on business." She said to herself and sighed.

"If you have a problem with the cold then you should take a vacation to Valde Aequus" Zhalavidra appeared behind Kasumi suddenly, Zhavajango beside her "my former Mistress is originally from there, and I hear it is a popular summer resort for tourists who wish to escape the cold environments their worlds may hold. If you'd like, I can take you there after all of this is over. I'm sure Jango wouldn't mind it" She sent a funny look his way, and she giggled at his confused expression "In any case, we are both ready, shall we be off?"

"Right. OK it's time to go." She said was she walked over to the edge of the path. She looked down it. She She dropped down the cliff face sliding down the face. As she neared the bottom she front flipped off of the cliff face and onto the ground. The town of Bruma was visible from the temple. Snow fell lightly on the short walk to Bruma. Even so it made her armor quite cold.

As Zhavajango walked, he shivered at the cold. Being use to the humid jungles of his birthplace, he had never quite gotten use to any sort of cold climate during travel. Not that he had doen much traveling, but still, he knew that he needed to be able to handle such intense climate if he was to be a strong leader to his tribe. He looked to Kasumi, and decided perhaps it may be in his best interest to spark conversation; after all, he was getting quite bored, and no good ever came of getting bored "Hey, I never seem to recall you showing any signs of being a person. You come off as a hardass, cold and distant, as if you don't even have much of a personality. But, I doubt that is how you truly are...what of your family, your friends, surely you must have people whom you can turn to when in need of advice, of moral support, or just to hang out?" He was being sincere, truly curious as to why the woman seemed so intense all the time. He suspected it may have been due to her time in Oblivion, but he seriously doubted it, since she was the same when he had run into her the other day, before she had been to Oblivion

"That's a good question. I never really made to many friends here in Cryodiil. I was arrested in Morrowind and brought here for some crime I don't even remember. I was the first to ever escape the Imperial Prison and to break back in. After that I usually kept to myself. I kept busy by going on adventures helping people and joining factions in the cities. For example the Mages Guild, the Fighters Guild, the Order of the Virtuous Blood. But the main and only companionship I really had was taken from me. And I'm forbidden to confide in anyone about it. So that's all you'll be getting out of me on that. But I guess now I have Ral and Buarus as friends. But work takes up most of my time. Though that work does tend to be a lot of fun. Lucky for me I get more espionage than guard assignments. For some reason Ral prefers the guard assignments. Whenever I ask why he just changes the conversation. I guess I come off as a hard a** because everything that happened to me after I escaped the Imperial Prison. It wasn't easy personally closing every Oblivion gate that opened in Cyrodiil. I've seen enough of the Deadlands for every being here. Luckily since I didn't do anything to Mehrunes Dagon I wasn't banished from Morrowind. Oh right. Which brings me to what i wanted to talk to you guys about. When we get to Summer Set Isle there will minimal entrances into any towns. We'll find a bandit camp kill the occupants and take it over for the duration of this mission. Reason being is the Altmer are a bunch of snobby bigots. They tend to hate anyone who isn't Altmer and they especially hate Dunmer and Argonians. Which you will probably be mistaken for... Zhala- I can't say your name. What is it again?" She opened Bruma's main gates with a hard full body push. The tall wooden door swung open enough for them to slip through. to the left was a large cathedral surrounded by small hut like houses. To the right were larger houses, the Guild halls, and shops. The castle wasn't directly visible as it was separated from the rest of town by a large wall. She walked directly to the Mages Guild hall to the left of the Fighters Guild hall. She opened the door and walked in and went to the hall's teleportation magicka user."All three of us to Cheydinhal.""Yes ma'am." Before another word could be said they were standing in the Cheydinhal mages guild hall. The one Ral and Zhalavidra used to get to the Arcane University the day before.

Zhavajango looked at his feet as Kasumi spoke. He thought deeply about what she said, and he couldn't help but feel for her. "It must be tough, without anyone to truly confide in, no shoulder to weep upon, I don't know if I could handle it.....not many could, let alone choose to. He went silent as they reached the Temple, and resumed the conversatin as they left the magic guild. "If you are not allowed to confide in any person, confide then, in the waters that flow, the winds that howl, and the earth that sighs. Let it hear your sorrows, and your pain. You bottle it all up inside, and that is not healthy, no matter who you are, or how strong you may be, in the end your despair will only consume you, until you are swallowed up by it."

"Healthy or not, it's something I've come to deal with. I have no right to weep about it. After all of the people I have killed, families I have probably destroyed. I would have to be a monster to allow myself to weep for the loss of family. Enough of this topic." There was no emotion in her voice. She stepped out of the guild hall. "I have business to attend to here, alone. It will only take a few moments. You guys go head to an inn or something. I'll find you afterwards." Kasumi followed the road out to the river crossing both bridges. She passed the Cathedral and walked up to a trashy abandoned house and walked around back to the well. She unlocked the grating covering it and went down inside, locking it behind her. She stepped out of a hole at the bottom of the well. There was a large and dark candle lit room with four pillars supporting the roof. On each pillar a banner bearing a left palm print in black paint on e yellow back ground. A woman dressed in black rodes stood there with a bag of gold in her hand. "Here is your take of the payments Listener. We lost one of our Dark Sisters on the last mission." "Was the assassination carried out?" "No... She was compromised before she could make the kill." "Send another. I will appear before another and see if they have the ability to join our family. May we always walk in the shadow of Sithis." The Speaker repeated Kasumi while she took the bag of gold and made her way back to the ladder."Next my pay from the Fighters Guild and Thieves Guild." She mumbled on her way up the ladder.

Zhavajango gave Zhalavidra a disheartened look "C'mon, let's go get a drink" The two of them headed to the pub, and took a seat at the bar. He looked to Zhalavidra "You know, I realy can't believe she would say such a thing about herself. I mean, it's not as if she is an evil person, regardless of the evil she may have done in th past, she has a good heart, and I think that matters the most. But, it is as if she refuses to forgive herself, and allow herself to move on and find at least some shred of happiness. I wish there was something we could do..."

Zhalavidra interrupted him "There isn't anything we really can do. It is something she has to do herself, no matter how much support she gets, in the end it is still her problem and only she can deal with it. Though I do feel wrong for not being aqble to help. I am sure she is quite a beautiful girl when she smiles. Oh, but enough talk of such depressing things, our drinks are here" She chugged down her mead, then ordered up another "That is one thing I don't like, though, about Tamriel, too much secrecy within the confidential organizations. It makes so much opening for deception and distrust, as well as betrayal and treason. Not to mention, the organizations here worse here than the Mafias of Earth Realm when ti comes to paying your dues." She chugged down her second mead and ordered yet another "So, I wonder when our little Storm loud will be back from her errand?"

The death of another family member weighed heavy in Kasumi's heart. But there was nothing that could have been done. Every time they take on a mission, like she did before them, they have a risk of being killed, just like she did.
Kasumi checked in the only two inns in town until she found Zhalavidra and Zhavajango. "There you two are. Time to go."

Both of them were already drunk when Kasumi returned, but nevertheless, Zhavajango got up and dragged Zhalavidra with him. They were both still in their right minds, so thigns were alright with the two of them. Kasumi hade an air of sorrow about her, more so than before she had gone off. "Something troubles you....does it perhaps have to do with your recent dealings with the Assassin's Guild?"

She drew her dagger and held it at his forehead. "You better hope no one heard you. Or your gonna executed for the murder of the people of Tamriel here and now." She said just loud enough for only him to hear. "My dealings are my business and mine alone. I shouldn't even let you live for that." The anger and seriousness in her voice was very evident even at low volume. The people in the inn went quite for a second and then wen back to their conversations. "But you're lucky no one heard you and I'm in a forgiving mood." She sheathed the dagger, turned and left the inn.

"Kasumi, wait!" Zhalavidra caught up to Kasumi "Please, I want to talk with you, and not as a mere ally, but as someone who cares" She looked around for a place without so many people within earshot "please, won't you at least hear me out?"
