Kenshin, overwhelmed by everyone crowding around him to help him up, blinked a few times, caught in a stupor. True, he was relieved to see the ochu gone, but he had a figure to uphold! Regaining his posture, Kenshin shook his head, his crimson and black disguise returning to him. Hard-headed and noble as he was, Kenshin rose, shrugging everybody off. "Humph", he said his eyes cast to the ground and chin sky-high. He uttered not a word.
Ignoring every one's attempt to help, he continued walking, taking in the returned peace of the forest. At least he was back to his normal high-horsed self again. It was his way of congratulating and thanking everybody. Bits of his power had not regained itself fully, and it could be seen in his strain to hold his appearance. Every now and then his real appearance would lightly fade in, flickering like a ghostly character. Though Kenshin walked tall and strong, he felt the pain of a hundred beatings upon his body and whole arm.
On the edge of the forest, Kenshin had noticed small crowds of curious passers-by stopping and staring at the end fight, all muttering to each other. many were simply inhabitants of the Haven grounds. As Kenshin and the group emerged from the forest, they all quickly scattered and continued their separate ways, scrambling over the hills back to the Tavern or heading for destinations beyond, all heads cast down as if they never witnessed a thing. The two-headed steed had seemed to disappear, probably retired back to the stables behind the mansion.
The sky was clear again, the moon now slowly replacing the sunset, and the birds and animals chirped and chipped again. All was well, for the time being. The whole way back, Kenshin seemed to be thinking about things on his mind. Mainly his thoughts were pressed on the origin of the Ochu and who had summoned in. through the stroll back it was almost like those steely, cold eyes were peering right through the back of Kenshin 's head, glaring at drake the whole time.

Swordmaster-Raistlin feeling kenshins great sword begin sucking his energy, but allowed for him to take what was needed. when the ochu had been obliderated he watched kenshin collapse. running up to him,"lord kenshin are you all right" he said castiously aproaching him. speaking to chidori,"that ochu did not seem at all like a normal monster. it seems more like it had been summond by someone? am i right?" :she looked at him and nodded: yes Raistlin i belive that ochu was summoned by someone :she smiled: you are learning quick which is good ...

Calli stands up and frowns as Kenshin marches off. She too knew he was in pain but hiding it. So Chidori had been right about how prideful he was. Men, She thinks to herself in slight annoyance, sighing softly as she shakes her head. Calli then looks over her shoulder at Drake and turns around, then walks over to him and starts looking him over with motherly concern. "You're not hurt, are you? No poisoning right?" She asks.
Drake steps back from Calli, scowling as he shakes his head. "Calli, I'm fine. Weren't you the one who got scratched by that Ochu?" He asks, looking at her shoulder where her clothes had been torn through by the claws of that creature.
Calli blinks in surprise. The adrenaline of the battle hadn't faded much, and she was good at shutting out pain, occasionally almost too good. She'd totally forgotten that while she'd closed up the surface again, the poison was still in her. Well, it wasn't a very strong poison, she'd deal with it while nobody else was around. Like Kenshin, she had some pride as well. Calli smiles. "Well, yes, but I'm fine now." She replies. "As for that battle, you did great Drake. I was really surprised." She comments.
Drake shrugs, not seeming to care as he listens to what Chidori and Raistlin were saying. Everybody except for Calli seemed to be figuring it out. "Ya well, I'm not." He mutters, then walks past her and heads back towards the Haven behind Kenshin, head down. He could feel Kenshin watching him, but the man never said a word, so Drake didn't either.
Calli frowns softly at her student's reaction, watching him go, then sighs again. Picking up her staff, Calli then walks back through the forest to the Haven as well, losing herself a bit in thought.

:sher eyes found Drake as he walked off: .... im sure hes the one that summoned no one else would have summoned that ochu ... :deciding to speak with drake alone later she looked at calli: do you need healing calli?

Calli looks over her shoulder, where the poison was mostly still contained, at Chidori and smiles warmly, shaking her head. "No thank you Chidori. I'm perfectly fine." She replies easily, then turns back around and continues walking.

They walked for a while over the rolling pastures before Kenshin began to drop back, pulling Raistlin aside. He waved everybody else off, nodding to them all, and glaring at Drake coldly. Kenshin stopped under a large oak, a tree that seemed older than the haven itself. "Raistlin, I'd like to congratulate you for for your combat today. It was remarkable, that it was."

"thank you very much lord kenshin, however, if you had not been there we may not have destroyed the monster."

"Possibley you could have. But you only needed my guidance. And the creator has the power to destroy....", Kenshin implied, referring to Drake. Kenshin was at an all time high in his alerting senses.
"That Drake is up to no good, i can sense it.", he explained, speakign in hushed tones.
"Anyways, Raistlin, I'd like to see more of your elemental abilities. Your fire technique was well done, but could use a bit more refining. I will show you how." Kenshin sat and crossed his legs.
