Wow. That's pretty bad. I can't imagine a 'school' not at least being a little more balanced. Granted, it's a christian one but still. If they really wanted to discuss the issue of masturbation, drugs, and all that.. I'd think they'd find a better way so you could actually talk and ask questions or something. :0 Doesn't seem like the perfect way to go over the subject at all. Really bad preaching is only good if you get to laugh. xD

Very tired x.x
Turns out two of my classes require big final papers. One for art history and one for english. The english one is pretty wide open, but sort of needs a topic that's cultural and answering/exploring some kind of question. Ideas? ninja

It could be philisophical! "What are morals?" Or, "What are the ethical problems of our society?" And then you can bs it and sound intelligent all at the same time!

Hrm. It's not quite like that. The topic needs to be not quite that broad.
Tomorrow in the area we get to see how much flash flooding we get from the tropical storm. :0 Always exciting.

The english one is pretty wide open, but sort of needs a topic that's cultural and answering/exploring some kind of question. Ideas? ninja Something about comparing research on language acquisition of (young) children learning english as a first and those learning it as a second language? And writing your own ideas based on childhood experiences of how you percieved the other kids in the class who were only just learning english at your elementary school. If you remember back that far.
Question could be "do children who learn english as a second language when still young (i.e. 5-7) catch up to their peers in english by high school?" Look at SAT scores or somthing. Compare the different cultures' results and see if it is based on whether english is spoken as the main lanugage at home or not.

It's 'American popular culture.' She got more specific on the wording after the first class. I might do something with art education or modern art or somehow something about atheism. Someone else is doing relationships and interpersonal stuff for people and HIV. How that changes your perception and relationships in our culture. So I figure I can do something about atheists and kind of perception or tolerance. I dunno.

This is a caustic mule. I'm having computer issues. o.x Spilt tea and got some on laptop. It's starting but then shutting down almost immediately. I changed the pass for caustic recently, can't find where I wrote it down. I had it copy and pasted in a open document on my laptop and I don't have it memorized yet. My passwords are not words. xD Not sure which email I used for caustic. Anyways, I might not be around much if at all for a few days. I'm busy with class stuff anyways. Luckily it's late in the week and we can probably get the computer looked at this weekend.

So, I was driving down the street today and lo, I pass a church with a neon sign that scrolls through various little sayings and blah, right? Right. Guess what I saw? God doesn't believe in Atheists No joke. ******** cracked me up. I wish I would've had my phone so I could've taken a picture, but I passed it so fast anyways, I probably would've had to sit for like half an hour till it scrolled back on the screen.
