Kavi hadn't expected to have been asked to be the captain for the team in the scrimmage game and he'd almost said no, but when he learned that his girlfriend was going to be on the team, well, he had to say yes. He knew she'd support him and help him actually talk to people. He'd worked on strategy for the game with Ceridwyn and was pretty confident in his ability to perform. He was finally getting to play the position he wanted to play in an actual game. This would also be good practice for next year when he'd be Hufflepuff's starting Seeker. Taking the pitch, he smiled at Tambry and placed a kiss upon her cheek.

Pádraig had been quite excited when the scrimmage teams were posted and he was on the same team with Poppy and Zoe. He was getting to team up with his two best friends and they were going to wreck house. Him and Zoe were great beaters and Pops was getting to play Seeker, so they just had to make sure she could do her job without issue. Taking the pitch, he high fived Poppy and grinned excitedly.

Oh gosh, I hope I do good Róisín was initially a little nervous when she was selected for the main team in the scrimmage game, thinking she'd be facing off against a bunch of older students. But when she looked over the team list, she realized that two of the chasers on the other team were from her year. In fact, four of the six Chasers in the game were first years. The two older students were also in the same year and altogether, the oldest player on the pitch was a fifth year. Okay, well that wasn't too bad. She was jazzed up for the opportunity to play, especially since she'd conquered her fear of heights thanks to flying class. She seemed to be a natural flyer and she couldn't be afraid of heights anymore. Ocelots ChaserAC: 12

Hufflepuff | First Year | Eleven Years Old | Single | Team Koala Chaser
Talya was super-excited about having her chance to start a Quidditch match, even if it was only the annual Spring Scrimmage and not A Hufflepuff match. She was far enough down on the depth chart it wasn’t likely she would start a match unless a couple Chasers went down sick. The little First Year had hoped to start straight out of the box, as she was pretty sure her older sister did exactly that at Durmstrang. She’d been hearing tales of Raisa’s exploits since she was five years old, so it seemed as though she’d always been at school, doing amazing things, and setting the example for her middle sister to follow.
For today’s match, Talya created a bluish-gray Tee shirt with a graphic she created of a cartoon Koala bear wearing Quidditch gear. This she wore over her Quidditch gear, so there were no questions as to which team she was on. She tried to convince Kas to loan out his mount for the day, but he reminded her that she wasn’t allowed to use anything other than a school broom until next term. As it was he escourted her to the pitch and gave her a big hug for luck before she rushed off to join up with her team. “Iana!" she cried, rushing over to her friend, before gushing, “It’s our turn to fly! Isn’t this cool?”

Zoe followed her friends and teammates onto the field, decked out in orange for today’s scrimmage match. She had been selected as captain this year, with Pad as her vice captain. And she had Poppy on her team, as well as a number of strong players. It was set up to be a great day and an even greater match. She joined the group of Ocelot players and smiled at them all. ”Lets have some fun today, guys,” she said, beginning her stretching before the game began.

Rey had her head of curly red hair leaning against Finn’s shoulder as he walked her to the pitch for the Spring Scrimmage. In years’ past but for the scrimmage she wouldn’t get match experience at all, however, this year she had been parked between the pipes for Hufflepuff, which really helped to make her feel like she wasn’t a complete waste of space spending matches warming a bench, all strapped up to play and never called upon. This morning found her more than a little nervous about the impending match, and a little needy.
“Ye’ll be okay, Rey. Ye’ve dun well in actual matches, ye’ll be fine today too,” Finn told her in a reassuring tone. “Remember what Vik taught us, and ye’ll do jus’ fine.” Rey nodded her head, and she replied, “I jus’ needed te hear it from ye.” The little redhead had added an oversized orange Tee shirt with a picture of a cartoon ocelot wearing a jersey to her gametime ensemble. Finn leaned in close and told her, “Ocelots rule,” before giving her a kiss.
“Ocelots rule,” she repeated as she returned his kiss with a soft chuckle before rushing off to join her ad hoc crew.

Alynn found himself needing to hurry to the pitch to be there in time for the face-off. Not being on the first-string, this was the best possible chance for the Third Year to get any sort of match experience, short of subbing for one of the older players. He also found himself trying to spot Mika in the stands, as she said she’d be there to watch. Being there gave him just a bit more incentive to play a good match and be after the Quaffle whenever he could. Talya was playing as well, though she was on the opposing side as a Chaser for the Koalas. She was teasing him at breakfast and putting him on notice that she planned to snatch the ball from him at any given opportunity.
‘At least she was nice enough to make a shirt for me too,’ he thought, as he slid on the oversized orange Tee shirt over his usual gear, which might have qualified as a tent on Talya, depicting a cartoon Ocelot with a Quaffle under its furry arm. With a final glance at the stands, Alynn turned and trotted out onto the pitch.

It was finally time for another scrimmage game! They'd been Xiang's little pet project, but since everyone seemed super excited about them, she'd continue. So long as Marni nor Phoebe strangled her, that was. After carefully organizing the teams, she'd posted them to some pretty positive reviews. Now it was finally time for the game! She headed outside, seeing all the kids ready to go. They were all wearing their team colors, which would make it nice and easy to see.
After all fourteen players and five reserves were in their spots, she tooted her whistle. Opening the trunk, she released the bludgers (having to jump out of the way of a particularly ornery one), then she let the snitch run free. Grabbing the quaffle, she hopped on her broom and zipped to the sky. "Good morning everyone! Today is our third annual Spring Break Scrimmage Game! Our teams are the Orange Ocelots, headed by Zoe Fernsby and Padraig Kincaide-Knapp, and the Grey Koalas, led by Kavi Bhattacharyya and Ceridwyn Wyn-Weigold!
Now, as long as everyone's ready, the rules are same as always. No magic, no cheating, and no being poor sports!" She flew to the center line, grinning when two of the first years stepped up for toss-up. "Chasers, are you both ready? Alright, here.... we.... go!" She tossed the quaffle up, then backed up quickly to watch the match begin.
