Koori was in a state of awe at the house he had been brought to. He was more than willing to follow the servant into the bedroom he was lead to. It was huge, much larger than the rooms he was used to. Hell, this room was about as large as the houses he was used to. He laughed, plopping onto the bed and sighing. He had to admit, being a warrior seemed to have its perks. Though, he knew he would have to speak more with the Priestess. Afterall, he was supposed to protect her.

While the other men were busy stuffing there faces Lei decided to grab a quick bath. When he entered the bath house it was empty, everyone was in the chow hall. He began to strip off his clothes slowly, careful of his arm and neck. Once his dirty cloth shirt was off, he had bandages wrapped around his torso. He untucked the end and pulled them loose, the white wrapping falling down, revealing his back ridden with scars. He didn't even pause to think about them and continued to bathe.
Just as he was finishing her began to hear voices and footsteps coming near the bathhouse. He shook his head, they sounded drunk. As he tied his pants, they entered, and stopped, Lei turned to look at him, his almost female physique stopping them cold in their tracks. His black hair was only tied at the base of his neck, making it so some of his hair outlined his face. One of the men began to speak, "Damn Shao, your an swordsman, and got a body like that." the other whistled. Lei just shook his head and continued dressing.

Jin stopped and turned back, something was obviously weighing heavy on the warrior, even though he tried to hide it. "Yes Tatsuko? I'm sorry for intruding, but the door was opened a I wanted to make sure you were alright." He stepped in but stayed near the door, in case she wanted him to leave. He smiled a bit, but the expression didn't reach his sad, crystal blue eyes. He rubbed his arm, the one with the tattoo of the dragon, to remind him why he really was alive, not for his father but for Tatsuko.

Looking over at Jin, Tatsuko smiled once more, and patted the bed next to her. "Come, sit with me." She didn't really mind that he was in her room. It was different, but it was alright. She pulled her knees up a little, giggling. "It's fine. Don't worry about it. I'm kind of glad you did come by." She glanced up, looking at his eyes. There seemed to be something different. He looked... sad.

He smiled a bit, "Then I am glad for that." He walked over and pulled the half closed curtains aside, and sat on the edge of the bed. He met her gaze, and didn't try to avert his eyes at all. It seemed like this was probably the normal way he was, rather then the way he'd been around her. He didn't really notice how sad he seemed, because he never remembered being much different. The only times were the time he was able to spend with his mother, or now, the times he talked with Tatsuko. But his talk with his father was still fresh in his mind. "My father has ordered more soldiers to the manor, he doesn't think my guards and I have the skill to protect you alone. I asked for that upstart that may be a celestial warrior to come. I thought it would make you happy, and maybe Koori can train him a bit." He didn't say himself, because he wasn't going to train him until he appologized for his abhorant behavior. If he did, then the celestial warriors here would help train him, together.

Lei laid lounged back on his bunk. He was wearing the standard issue uniform all the men wore his hair was tied back up into a bun where it belonged. He laid there staring up at the ceiling thinking. One of the men came into the room his hair still damp from the bath. "Hey there girly man." the man laughed. Lei rolled his eyes and shook his head, "I wondered how much of the Kutou army was gay." The man stopped turned and looked at Lei, the man pointed, but didn't say anything, he took a deep breath as the other men around him laughed, "Good one Shao, good one..." one of the men was laughing so hard he had almost fell over. Lei just smiled as the man he had just insulted turned and tried to ignore him. Maybe this day wasn't so bad.

She reached over, gently touching Jin's hand. He didn't just seem sad. He was sad. Tatsuko frowned slightly, wondering what it as that made him this way. He had been so happy earlier, when he had been with her. She wished she could help him feel better. "Well," she said, keeping her eyes locked with his, "atleast we get to see if he is a warrior. That's a good thing, right?" She gently squeezed his hand, smiling at him softly. She didn't like to see him so sad.
"Jin, why do you care what your father thinks?" As soon as she said it, her cheeks flushed, and she looked down. She was being hypocritical. How could she ask that when she did the same thing? The only she cared for was making her father proud of her. "I... I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking."

Kyo finally reached the base of the Koutu army and stopped outside the gate. He hid in the shadow's and waited for the gate to be opened for some reason or another. He watched the gaurds that were on patrol and made sure that they would not see him. Once the gates were open he would walk inside and see how strong the Seriyuu army acctually was.

Jin smiled a bit and turned him hand over, grasping her hand in his. "It's alright, I guess I care because I've always lived in my brother's shadow. My father has always thought me flighty and unrealiable because I'm so honored to be chosen as a Warrior of Seiryuu. Because of the condition of this world, my father stopped believing a long time ago. He thinks that the gods have abandoned us, so I'm stupid for believing. You've been named the Priestess of Seiryuu, and you are here, so it's his job to keep you safe. So his flighty son doesn't mess things up again." Suboshi let out a breath, "My older brother died saving my life. I was trying to break a new horse we'd bought and it threw me. My brother saved me from being trampled by covering me with his own body. That was all he could do. Before he died, he told me that I had to live, because I would help save Kutou, by bringing the Priestess her power. My father thinks it should have been me that was killed. But I loved my brother, and he knew, like I did, that our family was meant to help. He sacrificed himself for me." A tear slipped down his cheek, "So the fact my father hates me is really only part of what makes me sad."

Tatsuko looked up at Jin, frowning a little. His brother died to protect him... Reaching up with her other hand, she wiped away the tear, leaving her hand upon his cheek. It was so sad. Though, she did understand the feeling a bit. Ever since her mother died, rather than really care too much about her and her brother, Tatsuko's father engrossed himself in work. "I can sort of relate to that. So, maybe I can help," she smiled slightly. "We'll just have to prove that Seiryuu didn't abandon the country. Right?"
She had to resist the urge to do something. She knew, when she felt upset, she felt a bit better when someone hugged her. She bit her lip slightly, contemplating whether she should or not. The smile widened ever so slightly on Tatsuko's lips as she decided to go for it. She hoped she wouldn't regret it later. She adjusted herself in the bed, so that she was on her knees. Removing her hand from his, she leaned forward to wrap her arms around his neck, giving him a hug as best she could. "Please don't be sad. I'll help and then everything will be alright again. Ok?"

Jin blinked, suprised, and after a few heart beats he wrapped his arms around her waist and hugged her back. He looked up at her, "I promise, I'll die before I let anything happen to you Tatsuko. My life, such as it is, is yours. My father is wrong about me, and he's wrong about Seiryuu. I'll never leave your side, I'll always protect you." He whispered his words softly, and she could hear the emotion in his voice. "I don't know how to act with people, I've always been alone. Everyone was always too busy for me. I don't want to be alone anymore..."

A red hue grew upon Tatsuko's cheeks once Jin wrapped his arms around her, but she didn't mind it. She, actually, really liked it. She smiled, looking up at him. Tatsuko just wanted to stay like this for now. "Jin... I promise... you won't be alone anymore. I'll summon Seiryuu, and prove your father wrong." She didn't know what else to say. She just wanted him to smile.

Jin smiled at her, a sparkle returning to his eyes. "You really are amazing, you know that right. An amazing, beautiful priestess. Thank you..." He didn't really want to let her go either, but she looked so soft and pretty, he had the urge to kiss her again, but knew he shouldn't. "I can get you some sleeping garments if you like. It might be more comfortable for you." He rubbed her back alittle, he seemed better...

Smiling, Tatsuko rested her head upon his chest, her arms still wrapped around his neck. She moved slightly, so that she was closer to him and not in an awkward position. "There is no reason to thank me, Jin." I want to do it... it will make you smile... She pondered for a moment, nodding a little. "Perhaps some sleeping garments would be best." The blush on cheeks reddened, since she dressed only in her shirt and her undergarments. It wasn't exactally the best attire to be conversing in.

He gently caressed her hair, he knew he should go get the clothes, but he didn't want to move. After a fewm moments, he squeezed her a bit, "I'll go get you something. I'll be right back, alright?" He smiled down at her and relunctantly pulled away. He left quickly, but didn't come back for about 15 minutes. When he did, he was carrying blue clothes. "Um, my mother isn't here, she's gone back to our country estate. All I have are some of my clothes. They tie, so you should be able to make it so they don't fall off." It was a pair of light blue pants and a dark blue top that tied with a belt around the waist. And they were a light silk fabric. "I'll get you some proper, ladies clothes tomorrow. I hope ths will suffice until then?"
