 Karthin shrugged as he got out of the bath and started to dry himself off. "You may be right about that Angela, but you are true to yourself.
No matter what it is you're doing or what you're thinking about doing it seems like you always know who you are, and I admire that. I was never really sure who I was until a few years ago. I used to be bitter towards a lot of people.
I would look down on them and judge them. Not because I thought I was better than them, but because I thought I would do better things then they would, especially the rich people." He told her sadly. "Then one day my best friend taught me what it truly meant to have the moral high ground.
He was out advertising for our show one day when a couple of demon kin showed up. They practically tortured him for hours. When he finally came back he had so many broken bones, and blood was everywhere. I wanted to go and kill the guys who did that to him. He stopped me by grabbing my arm, and he told me just one thing before he passed out. He told me not to become the monster that I feared everybody else was." He told her this story as he got dressed. He slowly walked out from behind the screen. "He taught me that acting on impulse could change people.
For me it would have surely turned me into the monster that I despised." He added before walking over to her bed and having a seat. He watched her pace around the room.

Angela ....The Light of the Valkyrie.... Angela blinked slowly as she heard his story as she continued to pace the room,"Well.. I'm not sure if my people would have seen you killing them a bad thing.. they are would proclaim that as an act of heroism but seeing as the impulse was for vengeance I see how that could be an issue", she told him shaking her head,"Two different worlds... never realized how far apart we all were", she told him finally watching him sit down on the bed she explained,"I think its best you stay here for the night the younger Valkyrie have taken a strong liking to you and feel they are required to assist in your manly..", she cleared her throat,"needs..", she then blushed looking away at what she just had to say before continuing,"Don't worry about me I have a lounging couch there..", she pointed near her fire place,"I shall stay comfortable for the night and such..", she then went on to explain,"However.. I shall need to hide you so they can remove the tub..", she remarked smiling.

Karthin chuckled as he shook his head lightly. "You sleep on your bed Angela." He told her. "A good man never lets his woman sleep on a couch." He told her. He smiled at her before he realized his misspoken word. He blushed furiously and started waving his hands in front of him. "Not that I think we....I didn't mean....what I meant to say was a good man never makes a lady sleep on a couch." He blurted out quickly as he rushed to hide under her bed again. "I think I'll just die under here now." He told her as he held his head in his hands. His heart raced faster than it ever had in his life.

Angela ....The Light of the Valkyrie.... Stumbling on his words with the shock of being called his she just managed to blink while she held a blush and told him,"Okay...", before she went to pull the string to allow someone to come and take the tub white that was being done she redressed herself behind the screen into a gown that way she could sleep without feeling... odd... And with all that in place she closed and locked the door as she let the lights die with a flap of her wings as the wind carried into the room and killed the candlelight all that remained was the fire place,"Goodnight Karthin", she told him as she readjusted herself for comfort before laying her head on the pillow for rest. .

Karthin crawled out from under the bed after she locked her door. He walked over to the couch and lied down. "Good night Angela. Sleep well." He told her as he adjusted himself on the couch before closing his eyes. It took him several hours to fall asleep. He kept replaying every interaction with Angela back in his head. Some made him smile while others made him blush. When sleep finally took him he looked peaceful.

Angela ....The Light of the Valkyrie.... The following morning an already dressed Angela approached a sleeping Karthin she rocked him gently awake and waited for his responsive mummering before she told him,"Wake... after our morning meal we shall take flight and inspect the city for your interest", she told him. She stood up and turned toward the door she was wearing light armor something of a leather and a light plating,"Wait for the clear I'll make way..", she informed him peeking out the doors she seen his room cracked open sneaking over she checked to find all the girls bundled up together in his bed sleeping away she sighed as she turned back to her door motioning for him to move out..

Karthin squirmed a little as he was jostled awake. "I swear I didn't feed the donkey any bacon!" He nearly yelled as he jolted up into a sitting position. Angela's words registered in his mind as he yawned and stretched. "Sounds like a plan to me." He told her as he walked up behind her to check out the hallway. "Seems about as clear as it's ever going to be." He whispered to her.

Angela ....The Light of the Valkyrie.... Angela found herself trying to keep a straight face while they walked down the hall remembering his odd behavior of speech that morning. She finally walked into the eating hall to find everyone already assembled except the sleeping girls,"Where are the young Valkyrie?", asks one of the women,"They seemed to have taken ill someone fetch them from bed", said Angela amused as she sat down allowing karthin to eat she turned to the rest,"We shall go ahead and bless this meal and begin eating I have much to do today and can't be delayed by sloth women", she told them firmly. After blessing the meal and her and Karthin had eaten she turned to him and nodded,"Let us be on our way", she told him escorting them both down an open hallway so they could take flight.

Karthin followed Angela down the hall and into the dinning room. He sat down as she talked to the other Valkyrie about the younger ones. He blushed lightly as he remembered that they were all asleep on the bed that was supposed to be his. He ate quietly after the food was blessed, and he followed Angela after the meal was done. "What's on the agenda for today Angela?" He asked her as they took to the skies.

Angela ....The Light of the Valkyrie.... Angela smiled as they took flight,"I am to show you my island home..", she told him as they circled around the largest part of the top,"We are near the very top at the top most top is where all the older Valkyrie live the oldest is almost been here since the dawn of time", she confirmed showing a building up ahead where around it was surrounding by clouds of bright lights,"Young Angels will come and care of these older sisters since they can not go into battle or do much anymore.. their wings are weak but they can fly if need be... though they are protected by the young angels and non can come up this far not even demons..", she informed him,"They are to close to the heavenly gates see..", she pointed up in the distance the golden gates of heaven as they began to descended,"Though its hard to stay in the altitude for long because its colder if your not in the actual building", she shivered,"My aunt hopes my mother will soon join them", she told him smiling,"She is getting on in years...", she said sadly.

Karthin nodded as he shivered. "Seems like a very nice place to be though." He told her. "How long do Valkyrie usually live if they don't fight?" He asked her as he flew closer to her. "I know you said one of them has been there since the dawn of time?" He asked

Angela ....The Light of the Valkyrie.... Angela answered calmly for him,"We are immortal like the elves unless we die by sword",she told him,"Its probably better if we went to lives with the elves after we retire but we havent hadnt an alliance that will protect this for centuries so this was made instead", she told him,"elvish medicine is very popular and well known it is most valuable and your ballads are about as beautiful as an angels", she smiled,"Though they are content up there... and being amongst strangers even if friends can be uneasy most of these women only have ever dealt with enemies or angels and thats it...we aren't a race to socialize so fluently", she explained as they rounded back down toward her house,"The household of the leader of the Valkyrie I am current head and leader but I can be replaced if one is to challenge and defeat me", she explained,"Only exceptions is if its an elder and given right as an elder is far better than being the leader though my sister thinks other wise", she told him. As they began to circle abit further down they came to the elders extravagant building,"There are 7 elders 3 of my family member hold 3 of the spots 4 are from different familys", she told him,"I know my mother is the oldest elder currently", she then brought him lower than that to the housing districts,"Below are housing districts we have a massive maternity ward for mothers and all young valkyrie that are not sent to serve under older valkyrie are kept at home we have only a few children at the moment we have not been to war in so long we haven't felt the need to reproduce so often", she chuckled. .

Karthin nodded as he listened to her explain things. "So are there Valkyrie that are born unable to fight, or are they given a choice?" He asked her as he followed her. "There are so many things I want to ask, but I have no idea where to begin. The Valkyrie are so fascinating. So many different customs and beliefs. It's so strange, and yet I can kind of see why your society is the way it is." He told her with a smile on his face. "Elves used to be super secretive about our race as well. From what I understand back when the world was just being formed and the first elves came to this land we shut off our forest with magic to keep anybody from finding us. We would breed only with other elves, and the imprinting part of our evolution had not come about just yet." He explained to her. "Your race on the other hand is only secretive, because other races can't get here, and it's not like you can't go down to the walking world if you wanted to. To somebody like me it seems like we're so similar and yet the complete opposite at the same time."

Angela found herself blinking slowly smiling at his conclusion,"Yes.. you are most accurate no we have no choice", she informed him slowly,"We can pick up hobbies like hunting and planting, weaving, pottery... We have those who know simpler task but all Valkyrie are raised to fight", she told him,"The younger ones are spared for 100 years they are taught domestic things to learn how to survive and provide for their home but after that mark they are put into training for another 200 years and after they reach 300 years old they are then made to head to war if there is one... most of our valkyrie are of the 300 mark there is a small percentage of about 2% that are not 300 and they are the younger Valkyrie and wont see war until after their 200 year training", she informed him,"We have Elders in their free times train them sometimes but for the most part any of the valkyrie will step in and help we all call each other sisters even though we aren't all closely related", she explained,"You see the first 7 were siblings but after so many centuries we became distant cousins of one another".

Karthin smiled at her. "That kind of sucks that all of you are forced to fight, but I suppose that's what you are used to. If you are raised like that then It's hard to break away from. It's something that I think all races can identify with." He told her. "I assume, though, that all of you enjoy and maybe even love your way of life. Things would probably be too weird if you things changed too much." He added. He looked around at the buildings. "Everything seems so much more beautiful from up here. It's a stunning sight to see." He looked over to Angela. "What else can you tell me about your people?"
