Discord walked in the courtyard, looking around. He saw several people fighting, what looks like Grimm. He blinked, and ran forward, his hand on his Uchigatana, stopping his sprint besides Cherry. He looked at her, and saw that she was aiming. He stepped back a bit as to not get in her way. "What the hell is going on?" He asked aloud, hopefully someone would answer him.

The bandit continued through with his massive hammer, hurling it through the air towards Lena even as Luina shouted at him. However, he didn't watch to see if his weapon actually collided with the tiny insect faunus. Inside, he spun on his heel, turning to face Luina with a twisted smirk tugging at his lips. The rock bounced harmlessly off his skull with an almost hollow sound, falling to the ground with a thud. He kicked it away with his booted foot before his eyes landed on the girl, their murky color filled with amusement. "Look at you, trying to be tough." He started, his voice cold and mocking. "I'm going to make you wish you had stayed in the pile of rubble where you belong." The words were the only warning she would get before he rushed at her with a short burst of speed. Once again he raised his hammer, using the added momentum from his little sprint as he prepared to smash it through that blue-haired head of hers. The movement came to an abrupt end when Lena, whom he'd almost forgotten about, landed a hit. In his sudden movement it hadn't hit her intended target, but rather his forearm. He let out an enraged cry as the plasma burnt his bare flesh. His hammer involuntarily fell from his hands, tumbling towards Luina. It would crush her if she didn't get out of the way fast enough. Abandoning the weapon he drew a dagger from his belt while simultaneously turning on his heel once more, moving just in time to avoid Cherry's bullet.
By this point in time the fog was slowly clearing from the courtyard. This gave the students more visibility as they faced their foes, however it gave the bandits that same advantage. It also gave them another advantage. With the smoke clearing, the sniper was starting to get clear shots at the students once more. The sniper also hadn't missed Cherry disappearing into the trees. He aimed for her first. It wouldn't do to have a sniper of his enemies taking out his allies. His scope didn't linger on her long however, not even long enough to see if the bullet hit true to mark. He instead moved quickly to his next target. It seemed there was another student entering the chaos of the courtyard. He didn't seem to have the slightest clue what was going on here. His confusion did not draw any pity from the bandit. Rather he just saw it as weakness, and weakness needed to be stomped out. Aiming his sights of the boy's head, he took a shot at Discord. If he didn't get out of the way in time, he would meet an unfortunate end.
For a spare moment, Ren had been on the verge of victory. One step closer to defeating the bandit and his clones. One step closer to saving his fellow students. However, that one moment of hesitation, as brief as it may have been, was all the bandit needed. He used it to his advantage, swiping forward with his arm despite the screaming of his muscles, the tearing of the gash in his back. He managed to grasp his hands around the hilt of Ren's forgotten sword before he rolled the to the side just in time to very narrowly avoid the hammer. It crashed into the concrete beside him instead. Once again, with every muscle in his body screaming in complaint, the bandit made a slash towards Ren's torso. The hammer was too heavy, the boy wouldn't be able to lift it in time to block the attack. He was left with the option to dodge. Or, if he wasn't fast enough, then to take the hit.
Blinking once as the teacher disappeared into a cloud of smoke, the bandit clone was left spinning in circles trying to pinpoint her once more. He knew she was still trying to pinpoint the last sniper, but he wasn't about to let her do that. They needed that hidden advantage. He only had moments to respond once she solidified once more. Grabbing the barrel of her gun, he quickly moved it to the side just as she pulled the trigger. Not quite enough the. The bullet still skimmed his side, leaving a gash there, however the wound was not fatal. "Maybe I'll see you there lady." He managed to grunt through the pain, sending a wink her way before lifting his hammer again and taking another swing at her.
Needless to say the bandit was a more than a little frustrated to see that Zylah had managed to continue clinging to his back despite the surely painful collision with the column. Still struggling to keep her dagger away from his neck, seeing as he was stronger, but she was sneaky, he stepped forward once before hurling himself back into the pillar once more. This time he felt her arms and legs go slack. He was waiting for her to slip from his back so that he could finish her off and get on with his life, however, at the last minute both her arms and legs tightened around him once more. This time with a new found strength that was unfitting of a girl her size. She was like a boa constrictor squeezing the life out of her victim.

𝓩𝔂𝓵𝓪𝓱 ✴ 𝓐𝓽𝓵𝓮𝔂
She always had that look about her, that look of otherness... ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Once again the bandit thrust himself backwards, crushing her against the giant pillar. She could have sworn she heard something crack... or maybe it was just the lack of oxygen causing her to hallucinate? Either way, she really didn't want to know. Black dots swarm across her eyes, swirling at the edges of her vision and threatening to take her. She forced her eyes open, refusing to even blink. She knew of the blackness took her, she would never awake from it. The bandit would land a killing blow the moment her body hit the ground. She seemed to have lost control over her muscles. Despite how hard she was trying to maintain her hold on them, she could feel herself slowly slipping from his back. Letting out a soft grunt she tried to tighten her grip and once again failed.
At that moment she knew she was left with one option.
She was going to have to use her semblance. It was either now or never. As her aura enacted her unique ability, she felt a surge of energy run through her. As her strength and agility was momentarily increased, the massive amounts of pain she was feeling from his attacks partially numbed, she managed to wrap her limbs around the man's body once more. This time tighter than before, she could feel him struggle for air against her hold. Unlike Ren, unlike so many future students, Zylah did not hesitate. She knew she only had a limited amount of time to end this before her semblance wore off and she was left exhausted, tired, and nearly defenseless. He increased strength gave her the advantage she needed to force her way past his desperate struggle and plunge the dagger into his neck. She didn't regret it, she didn't feel shocked, she was almost unphased. This was not the first time she had killed and she knew it would not be the last. Besides, it had been him or her in that moment.
The clone dissipated into a cloud of smoke and Zylah fell from the air onto the ground, landing on her hands and knees just a few short feet away from Ren. She watched as the bandit swung his own sword towards him. She could get there in time with the state her semblance put her in. She could held. However her attention was drawn by a strange crunching from behind her. She hadn't been imagining the crack before. Only, it hadn't been her bones. It had been the pillar. It gave a shudder, sending a small tremor through the courtyard before the stun tumbled over across the center of the courtyard. Zylah quickly rolled out of the way to avoid being crushed, but was then showered in the shattered rock and debris the followed the collapse.

Discord looks around as the fog cleared. Seeing it was bandits instead of Grimm they were fighting. He took a look, before he heard a shot ring out. He turned to the source, seeing a gun aimed, and it had discharged. He quickly summoned his shadow, catching the bullet and dropping it on the ground.
He sucked his teeth, transforming Copper Flash to its long range mode. He aimed down the sights, and fixed the sights on the shooter. However, at that time, a pillar had broken loose and fell. He summoned his shadow again, covering himself, and whomever was nearest him. As the last of the rubble bounced off his shadow, it melted. Returning to his feet, Discord aimed in again and took a shot at the one who fired at him.

Cherry Woods
Did she miss? but he was so freaking close and he couldn't of know she was shooting at him. Just then she sees the reflection of light up above and a moment later a bullet hits the tree trunk right next to her head! She quickly takes aim, at the light. It had to be the snipper right? She sets her gun to fully automatic since it was nowhere near her classmates and sends an array of bullets flying at the snipper.
As she was shooting a pillar falls down which was kinda strange but she had no time to think of that at the moment.

Charlotte Aoyama
[P O S T]
Charlotte’s eyes narrowed ever so slightly as the guy jumped back. ”Aww i was just gonna hold you and let you pass out on me” she softly giggled at her own words. Though his sudden marching forward swinging his hammer back and forth horizontally caught her slightly off guard. The first hit impacting her right hand and she instantly dropped her umbrella. Even with a aura it would of been a large impact force and it went through that. It even spun her around due to the impact force and she winced activating her semblance.
The faint purple glow came off her and she seemed to slow down the spin mid spin only to back off straight away. Her now free left hand pulling the pistol out and firing it towards the Bandit. It wasn't that powerful but it was at least something now the scorpion was unarmed. ”Could of just stayed in my arms Evil” She said softly pouting. Trying to keep her distance using the kinetic energy she had from the spinning to increase her speed a somewhat amount. Hoping the poison did its job fast. Or someone came to help… anyone.

Ren reacted in less a controlled reflex, and more of a clenching action at the surprise of the bandits attack, firing the hammer he still had a firm grip on, which helped push him backwards as he stumbled. Ren avoided of the strike, but his leg and arm took the hit and hit now had a deep bleeding gash on both.
He paused for a brief moment with a perplexed look on his face as he stared at his injuries, as if he couldn't process what had just happened.
"You... cut my clothes...YOU CUT MY CLOTHES!"
Ren converted the hammer back into it's rifle form. his expression seemed to blank, as he pointed the gun at the bandit.
"I gave you ample opportunity to give up..." Ren fired a round at the bandit. " I gave trash like you you more of a chance than most would... Ren fired two more rounds at the bandit"I had no expectations of you, and you still disappointed me." Ren unloaded the rest of the rounds in the rifle at the bandit, continuing to pull the trigger long past the point where the magazine was empty.

Lena dove to the ground and as far as she could. Barely avoiding the hammer she looked around the area. Running and jumping the wasp Faunus moved as fast as her little legs could. Climbing up the bandit she drew her most unorthodox weapon of all, spray guns. "Hey dickhead... you could use some color." Squeezing the trigger for paint to go directly into the mans eye if he didn’t shake her off or close them.

Amélie Lacroix -
Amélie smirked a little. "You will, with the amount of bandit bodies I’ve dropped..." Knowing her weapon well the grazing shot was her last round of the magazine. Pressing a button to drop the empty cartridge she would kick it, trying to just distract the man. She was getting tired though, turning to mist one last time to move where the dead sniper was. She would need to eat something soon. Loading her rifle once more she waved at the bandit, either man or clone. Kicking the dead body down to the courtyard.
Lunia Alexandria Yatomura "I'll make you all proud of me one day.."

Lunia still felt petrified of this bandit, after the damage he had already done to her. She breathed heavily as he mocked her, and just became angry now. Running towards him, she noticed he had been knocked by something hard enough to make him drop his huge hammer, she saw a window of possible opportunity and jumped onto of the hammer whilst changing her weapons back to their dual blade form. As he turned on his heel, Lunia leaped off the hammer to get some air and aimed for his back in a stabbing motion with her blades, hoping something would hit and at best puncture his skin.
Lunia was burnt out, however sheer adrenaline seemed to keep her moving and the fact that she wanted to win this battle to prove something. She observed the bandit's dagger, and would make a counter attack in her head in the case her blades made no contact.

Lunia Alexandria Yatomura "I'll make you all proud of me one day.."
- - - -
Lunia felt like she was in the air for ages, everything went in slow motion for her. Her blades sunk deep into the bandits back and she pushed them downwards, creating an opening in his back that nobody would be able to take. As she came to the bottom she yanked her blades out, pushing her foot on his back to take her off.
Lunia landed on her backside, she was still weak and broken after the hit. The bandit stood still, but he remained standing, which made her feel sick with panic. "There's just no way!" she yelled, before she watched the bandit fall onto his front, making the ground shake from the impact. He lay there, lifeless, she had killed him, Lunia had killed a real human. She dropped her blades and looked at her hands, they felt cold.
"It had to be done, but why do I feel like a monster?" she thought to herself, breathing heavily. It was over, for now, she took a few moments just sitting on the ground to gain some focus.
Lunia looked around and caught another student who wasn't in great shape close to her, she would sit for a few more moments before going to assist them and head to the medical facility together. "I cant believe I didn't die, again" she said, through heavy breaths. It wasn't a nice scene, but she was happy it was over and she had won. She would make her family proud yet. - - - -

His breathing was faster from it as well, as he tried to calm it down once he diminished his pace. It was all well to join a fight, but he needed to decide which side of the fight he was on and who was his enemy. He also didn't need to get himself caught in the crossfire and find himself in as dire a strait as the person in the coffin. Though the sounds of more physical combat was more distant, he could distinctly hear gunfire being close by and hitting the surrounding trees. Slowly, with Heir drawn he would advance from tree to tree to try and find the sources while trying to avoid any stray bullets. He made sure to keep himself still when behind cover, and to make his movements between cover as swift as possible. He, for once, may also have the element of surprise on his side. 'It is strange that I hear gunfire from both sides. Are they not battling Grimm, or is there Grimm between them?' Garret thought to himself, now unsure of what his quarry actually was. Killing Grimm was one thing, but a person was another thing entirely. He rarely had to fight other humans, though it had happened in the past from his travels. Generally they would do their best to apprehend them and turn them in, but of course it was battle so things did not always go as they had planned. There were deaths, primarily at the hands of his care taker but occasionally by Garret himself. The notion alone though of sneaking up on a person and killing them unaware was not something he normally did.
Still, Garret would need to assess things first to see how he would proceed. He kept traversing closer and closer to the battlefield, catching glimpses here and there of figures fighting in the courtyard itself but also seeing where a line of gunfire was being traded from the courtyard and here. He highly doubted the ones at the school would be his enemies, as that would be saying the entire academy was taken over in the span of less than a day, but he could not fully rule it out. He followed the line where the gunfire was being aimed until he was finally close enough to get an idea of both sides while remaining out of sight. He could vaguely see the shapes of two younger people in the courtyard who seemed to be having a rough time and rubble falling everywhere. In the forest with him however seemed to be a man with a large gun that was returning shots with far less frequency than them. 'So a long range fighter it is then.' Garret thought to himself. He saw the man lean out again to take a shot, however two different sets of bullets were also flying at the man at the same time. While one bullet hit the weapon itself and knocked the sniper off its aim so his next shot impacted a tree nearby. The other spray of bullets hit him across the chest and the arm as he screamed and with his leftover energy retreated behind the tree. His free hand clutched his now bleeding chest as his other let go of the sniper and laid the hand uselessly on the ground, a few of the bullets having hit him there and apparently disabled it. Taking a chance, Garret quickly ran to his tree at the temporary ceasefire, Heir held ready as he would judge the man. Even with a cursory glance and not much knowledge of medicine, the man was very clearly not long for this world. He didn't even notice Garret at first as he stood over him, behind the cover of the tree as well. Garret would stare down at him and prod him with his spear as the man who only then notice him. "It seems you are not long for this world. What made you attack the academy?" Garret would ask plainly, going straight to the point in a serious tone for once. He was genuinely curious why someone would attack this place, and he held respect for the dead. Even when they were enemies. The only response he got from the man was reaching into his pocket and trying to stab him. Effortlessly due to how weak the man was, Garret would step back slightly to be out of range before Heir was plunged straight for his heart. The mans eyes went wide, before he let out a final gasp and died by Heir. "Rest in peace." Garret said Grimly, quickly pulling Heir out from the mans chest as the body would slump. Wiping the blood off on the man himself, he would reach into his satchel and drop a rose over the body.
He would turn his gaze away from him and think of how to make it to the courtyard without being shot himself. He could keep ducking towards them among the trees, but he may be mistaken for a target himself. Thinking safely behind the tree for now, Garret needed something obvious to show he was not one of the bandits. The first thought that popped into his mind was a white flag of truce, but he may be mistaken as one of them then. The next thought that went into his head was that Ora may be a target as well. He had to do something to close the distance between himself and the others if only so they did not shoot Ora and their wounded transport. As much as it may send the wrong signal, Garret tore off a piece of white cloth from the dead and attached it to Heir, waving it as a sign of cease fire. "Your adversary is dead. The wounds you gave him were too much for him. I have come with wounded, and would prefer if we were not mistaken for enemies and shot." Garret would loudly yell to those in the courtyard, hoping they would hear him over the sounds of battle and those shooting would see his flag. ✘ Post count: 17 ✘Semblance timer: 0/5 ✘ Recharge: 0/5 ✘Grimm Killed: 1 ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ OOC: Entering courtyard.

Discord sighed, looking around as his gun reverted back to his sword. He sheathed his Uchigatana, and looked around. "Is everyone alright?" He asked as he brushed himself off. "First time here, and this is what I run into, my luck is great." He joked to himself.
Lena watched as the bandit died and the clones turned to dust. Landing on Lunia's shoulder the inch tall student collapsed. <******** hell... that was tough." Sitting up she looked to Lunia. "I’m Lena by the way. Thanks for the rest on the shoulder." Giving a small wave she looked to others, most in rougher shape than her. "I hope the other teams are doing better."

Amélie Lacroix -
Amélie raised her rifle and fired at the bandit across the way. Watching the person turn to a puff she dropped down. She looked at the collective of students. "You succeeded in your first form of combat. Congratulations Students. With the courtyard secured we shouldn’t expect anymore attacks. Injured should head to the medical tent. Everyone else can either rest a bit, head to the outskirts, or go to join the attack team."

Ora would slowly make her way onto the scene. She was a woman, dressed in fullplate, seemingly struggling with a coffin. Her armor would groan as she moved. She was a moving target at this time. Fighting seemed to have stopped when she arrived there. That was good, she was only a target as she moved through. She would focus on the road, heading to where she saw white tents. She was assuming there that was where the medical facility was. Her horns were forward, though there was no speed that she could move at. She wished she had used her Semblence to get there, but she wasn't sure that she could move the coffin. She saw splatters of blood, she might be able to help people when she finished her current mission.
