"How far are we from the duplexes?" She asked, not really remembering exactly how she got here at the moment. It wasn't that she was lost or didn't know where they were, but the distance wasn't exactly coming to her at the moment. Brain fart of sorts.
It didn't matter if they stayed on the beach and slept of if he carried her back to her duplex, or his if it was closer.

Jamal looked pensive for a moment, daring to rely on his tiger instincts on territory to remember exactly where they were. He wasn't sure, but a fairly good guess would seem to suffice.
"Fifteen minutes at most, I figger. 'sup ta you where we wanna go."

"Well," she began in an almost pitiful voice, "I really don't want to walk anywhere..." Trailing off, Antony looked up at him to hear his verdict on the matter. If he wanted to carry her, then there would be no objections from her. Hell, after sleeping in a nice comfy bed with quite a comfy man, Antony may even be inclined to be a morning person.
Or maybe just give out belly scritches or something.

Antony grinned lightly at the offer, absently nuzzling his neck as a lazy show of appreciation before she rolled off of his lap and got to her feet. "Need to get my bag an' s**t though."

He hauled himself up off the beach, brushing sand from his rear a moment before looking at her expectantly. "A'ight. Lets go get it then 'n' head to da duplexes."
He didn't know where she had put her stuff, but he headed back in the direction they had originally come from and soon enough saw the discarded bag. He picked it up by the strap and looked around to see if there was anything else to be gathered.

There were catalogs galore, including a couple lingerie ones that she and Billy had been looking at before the pot, the alcohol, and the limb chopping.
She got to her feet and stretched, following him and scooping up the towel from the sand and shaking it out. "Ready Big Boy?" Antony wiggled her eyebrows suggestively and comically before simply yawning.

Jamal cocked a brow in amusement at the selection of catalogs, especially the risque lingerie bunch, stuffing them into the bag. "You'll have ta tell me if ya get anythin' outta them magazines," he quipped impishly as he put a hand out to take the towel once she was done shaking it out to put it away also.
Once everything was packed, he slung the bag strap over his shoulders and head so the bulk of the bag was centered in front of his torso but the bag wouldn't simply slip off. "Ready when you are." He stooped to give her an easier time at latching on piggyback style since that seemed to be the only way he'd be able to carry her and the bag.

"You can pick some out since I'm not paying for it, Moreau is..." She trailed off, grinning slightly before climbing onto his back and wrapping her arms carefully around his neck. Resting her chin on his shoulder, Antony got comfortable before playfully demanding movement with a soft call of "Mush!"

Jamal liked the sound of that offer and grinned slyly to show it. "Fair 'nough. That's da' least of what dat b*****d owes me," he said agreeably as he waited for her to get settled, cocking a brow at her call of 'Mush'.
"Wrong animal, I think," he snorted, rolling his eyes but not sounding offended, and started off towards where home 'hopefully' was. His nose told him it was unlikely they were going the wrong way so he didn't worry too much.

Antony chuckled softly at his comment, "Especially since they get free porn." She gave him a playful n** at the crook of his neck, tails much more subdued now that they weren't as wet.
The trip didn't take so long, and the tattooed woman was quite happy to see the duplexes, especially hers.

The fading light of the day signalled the arrival of dusk. Zach wandered near to the cove that Antony had found at an earlier time, though unaware of it. His bare feet were having a tough time getting a hold in the sand, though his long toes helped a slight bit. He was still sinking in with every step, though.
The soreness all over that he'd started out having had begun to fade, though his horns were still sensitive to being touched, even lightly. His tail was much better now. It was difficult to control it, but under extreme emotional stress it moved much like any mammal's tail, signalling his emotions to the world. He had yet to cut a hole in his pants for it, so for now it had to hang somewhat uncomfortably out of the top of the back of them, occasionally moving around of its own accord.
He finally managed to set his feet down on sand that wouldn't give way when he put his weight on it, and realized he'd entered a cove of some sort. It had a nice view of the ocean.

There was a strange burning light off in the near distance, the smell of cigarette smoke easily recognizable. Antony sat amongst the cloud, cig dangling in her hand and gaze focused onto the setting sun when Zach wandered his way into 'her' cove.
Her head snapped around to see who was approaching, and she made a defensive bark of sorts, tails moving nervously. They at least understood the meaning of predator. Antony's face was etched in shock at how drastically the one armed man had changed, but it quickly shifted into a glare. "I'll give you fair warning Zach, if you attact me... Expect to be having a testicle retrieval surgery in the near future, among other things..." The tone she used was one of utter seriousness, her red eyes watching him intently. Just in case.

Zach turned around sharply, and got a lungful of the smoke that wreathed Antony. He coughed into his one hand a couple times, unused to the smoky air, though he was quick to force himself to stop when she made a poignant threat to his manhood.
His eyes bulged. This was sounding an awful lot like Emelyn and her concealed knife. He didn't blame anyone for wanting to protect themselves, but still... he hadn't had the urge to kill anyone or anything all day. The predator that had had been butting heads with him was utterly silent. Was he better, or was this only temporary relief?
And how the hell did Antony know so quickly he'd lost his control and tried to attack several people? His reply to her was stuttered, obviously frightened. "I... I... I wasn't..."
He stopped, took a deep breath - wait, smoke! He had to draw the air from outside the cove - and tried to finish his sentence. "I'm not going to- to attack you, Antony." He flashed her a nervous grin, forgetting about his four massive canine teeth.

Antony narrowed her eyes when he actually looked frightened, taking one last long drag before snuffing out the cigarette in the sand. And then the stuttering happened. What the ******** was wrong with Zach? Well, aside from the obvious new changes and whatnot that is.
"I heard you're attacking people now," she raised her eyebrow at him, tails still flicking uneasily at Zach's presence, "So I thought I'd warn you first."
