Kells Rolled a 1 + 1 bonus = 2 (and have confirmed with NovaCracker that he and Frigga are sticking together, so narrow path it is!) They needed to keep moving, Kells knew, though Frigga was in no state to think overly much. The poor, newly-awakened senshi was too scared to make any complicated decisions, and neither of those sets of stairs seemed like a good idea at the moment. The narrow path didn't look any better, given how easy it would be to fall over the sides, but in theory a smooth path was probably best. "Come along, little one," he crooned, hoping he sounded more confident than he felt. If he sounded even half as ... concerned, not frightened, as he felt, it might worry the teenager even more. And in a situation like this, there was no room for more panic. Not if they wanted to get out of this. ----- Broderick Rolled a 5 (no bonus) (On his own, and up the stairs he goes!) Weaving in and out between so many people without getting stepped on was hard, and when the path ahead began to split, the orange ball of fluff had to choose based on what was least likely to get him kicked into the waiting abyss. That automatically ruled out the narrow path; there wasn't enough space and there were way too many people. He just couldn't risk getting kicked over the side, and that was way too probable. Going downstairs was out, too - much too easy to fall and go head-over-paws into the unknown, to say nothing of the people who might step on him. No, no, up was definitely his best option, and once he was high enough maybe he could see what was going on! Meowing as he moved in a half-attempt to get people to clear the way - he didn't feel like shouting, and a voice might not carry in this group the way a good old-fashioned meow might - he began to jump up the stairs one at a time. Oof, this was harder than he'd thought. Maybe someone would be kind enough to help out an adorably fluffy cat? Quote: Brody's still open for interaction, if anyone wants to deal with him! --- Jeanette Rolled a 6 - 1 (civ penalty) = 5 (Sticking with Pisces, don't know her roll yet though) Jenny was still moving with the crowd, and stared blankly at the path splitting ahead. Something was.... different about the stairs going up, and she thought she might want to try climbing them. But - had a voice called out to her? In french? She wasn't sure, but if by some chance her sister was here, or at least someone who spoke her native tongue, maybe they could explain what was happening in a way that she could understand? " Hello?" she called out in french, voice shaking. "Did someone call me?"NovaCracker GO PISCES SAVE YOUR SISSUR Kells Total: 3 + 2 = 5Broderick Total: 8 + 5 = 13Jeanette Total 1 + 5 = 6

The noise Zachary made when he found himself being lifted off of the ground was something between a shout and a yelp, swinging uselessly against the strength of whatever titan had grabbed him...until he caught sight of this goofy teenager in a top hat, and his startled expression went positively confused.
"No s**t," Zachary grunted to the boy, reaching up for his glasses to make sure they hadn't shattered somewhere along the descent. "Thanks, but uhh, I got it, you can let me down, what kind of protein are you on and who is feeding it to twelve-year-olds?" He wiggled his way to the ground, mindful enough of the cracks to keep moving towards the downward set of stairs. At least on this path if he fell, it wouldn't be as far.
"What even is this place?" he called back to the uber-child, who apparently had a twelve pack under his frilly shirt.

Hvergelmir Knight of the Cosmos
Hvergelmir hit the ground with a hard thud. It was the second time she'd been pulled through a mirror, unsuspecting, and in both cases she'd had the unlikely good fortune of being in the midst of a patrol at the time -- but this time, instead of a small, contained room, she was in some kind of large, fractured space . . . and there were people all around her.
She felt the ground crack beneath her feet as she stood, as though it might give way.
Hvergelmir didn't want to find out how far she could fall, in a place like this, or what would happen if she did. She saw the path the others were racing toward in the distance and took off toward it at a run, skirts gathered up in her hands.
When the path split, she bolted toward the downhill path without hesitating. If there was anything like a floor below them, it would be better to head towards it on foot as much as possible, not away.
Captain Quartz
Unlike Hvergelmir, Quartz had not previously been dragged into this particular adventure before. He found his footing with slightly less speed -- a few recent glasses of wine played a factor -- but true to form, he maintained a healthy sense of self-preservation. Joining the crowd, Quartz shook his head to clear it and ran.
The pathway forked, and Quartz followed a few of the people ahead of him onto the uphill path, hoping to find a route up and out.
Hvergelmir: [9 + 2 - 2] + [7 + 2] = 18
Quartz: [8 + 1 - 2] + [5 + 1] = 13

As long as Katie told herself that she was dreaming, the whole 'floor is falling apart' didn't really seem to faze her--in fact, it made for some excellent people watching as she watched the screaming, panicked mass move forward to...presumably somewhere. The narrow bridge seemed the most straightforward way to follow, and she kept at a soft jog so that she could just keep up with all the fanciful costumes. She thought about taking pictures, but then again, she didn't have anyone's consent or a press release...that was still messed up in the dream world, wasn't it?
Shaking her head, she fell in behind the others, looking ahead of the narrow path to see what came next.

Okay okay this was okay. She just needed to keep moving along and not get trampled and try and keep an eye out for her new friend Bob who was really kind of nice even though he looked a little like a hobo. He looked better now that she had the chance to brush his hair and tie it back, but he could probably do with some new clothes. “Bob!” she called to the catman as she caught sight of him, able to squeeze through some of the people that were hesitating on if they wanted to go up or down the stairs. “Well this is fun!” she gasped, out of breath and trying not to sounds as scared as she felt. If she just kept thinking positively, then surely they would be able to make it out, right?? “We should go straight? Maybe? Or the stairs?” But she was already heading straight because that seemed to be the easiest, and there were too many people crowding for the stairs. ghouliboo sorry for the delay!! Charlie is sticking with bob if she cannnnn! Charlie = 10 - 1 = 9 (lowered to 3 to stay with Bob!) + 2 = 5 totalSomehow he’d managed to gather up as much of his hair and robes as possible so he wouldn’t trip as easily. He didn’t see Aue. But again, that was both good and bad. He knew the other could handle himself, and he would much rather not be called pathetic for whatever might happen. If he wasn’t careful, he might end up falling off the edge. And that couldn’t happen, because he needed to get home. Adrien was probably already worried sick, and Kamacite couldn’t stand seeing that look on his boyfriend’s face. Somehow, Kamacite reached the stairs just as an opening cleared, giving him access to the stairs heading down. Without another moment’s hesitation, he hurried down. Kamacite = 9 + 1 = 10 + 4 = 14 totalKamacite is going down the stairs.

Squire Alexandria Alexandria only visably began to relax once Andro had his wrist. He let out a quiet snort. "Wouldn't have it any other way..."
As they made their way through the crowds, Alexandria wriggled his wrist out of her grip so she was holding on to his hand instead. It would be easier to hold on this way. Though when she asked him which way they were going, Alexandria stared at her blankly, surprised. "Uh..." Great... him leading the way certainly wasn't going to get them killed. Oh no.
"Let's... uh just take the straight path?" He said, almost questioning himself. "Just be careful..."

Valjean ran for Cassiopeia as soon as she called out to him, and he was all too glad when he felt her grab onto him, because it was an easy form of security. He squeezed her hand, all too happy to hang on.
"Stick close, yeah?" He offered, voice soft and gentle. This place was awful and strange, and there was no way he was letting her get away from him.
They were able to get off the first platform well enough, but the place was still coming apart around them, and now there was a branch. Valjean frowned, considering the three options, and then glanced over to Cassie.
"Forward?" He asked, eyeing the narrow but relatively straightforward path. Up and down both had their risks - that seemed like the easiest choice.Total: 10 Taking a 3-point hit to stay with cassiopeia

Guinevere stood in front of the three branching paths and frowned. This...wasn't fun, at all, in any way, shape, or form. Being trapped in a strange, mysterious place, mostly alone, was the opposite of a good time.
Except -- as she stood and considered her options, she spotted a familiar fuku, and went straight for the downward path.
"Morgan? Morgan!" She called her friend's name, bright and hopeful, as she made her way to her. "Wow, am I glad to see you!"Total: 13

Mycenae knew he was trailing behind, but he couldn't find it in him to care. It wasn't as if there was much waiting on him on the other side; he wanted out, of course, but the draining in that strange mirror room was so exhausting it was hard to get himself energized about running to escape. He would go back, and there would be so much work waiting, and so many things to do, and...
He sighed as he came to a fork in the road, eyeballing the narrow middle path. It....wasn't exactly a pleasant option, but then, there were no pleasant options, as far as he could tell.
Up looked precarious as hell, down looked precarious as hell, forward looked precarious as hell. It was a choice of the least of three evils, and none of them had a clear sign to show that they were less.
He chose the path curving upwards, because the middle looked unsafe and down did not, at all, feel like a particularly pleasant option. It was narrow, and he had to choose his steps carefully, but he felt like he was doing fairly well making his way.
And then he made the mistake of looking down.
Mycenae was not, on the whole, afraid of heights. They weren't something that bothered him, usually. There were so many other things to worry about, and as a Knight most falls were reasonably safe anyway. A tumble off a sufficiently high roof would still do damage, but there weren't that many sufficiently high roofs, and he had quick enough reflexes that he suspected he could stop a fall, and wasn't that what the fear of heights was really about? Fear of falling?
This, though. He was afraid of falling into this, of the deep, yawning abyss, and it made his steps wobbly, and it made him hesitate. This was so much more than just falling from a height. It was falling into the smoky, shadowy unknown, and that was...terrifying.
Was something like this what Aderyn had stumbled into? Was this what had taken his sister? It was impossible to know, now - because clearly she was long gone.
His hesitation meant that his next step was unsure, and a single unsure step was all it took.
Mycenae lost his balance, and fell.

Idrialite considered the three paths before him and decided quickly - he headed for the one that curved downward, because it was the path of least resistance and the easiest to traverse. He wanted to be out of this strange mirrored hellscape; it had been far too long already, and there was too much waiting for him when he got back.
God, explaining this at the office was going to be a hell of a thing. Nobody was going to believe him unless they'd been here.
(Then again, he supposed he had disappeared out of a bathroom and left his work behind. And weirder things had happened in Destiny City, surely.)
Still, the less time he had to spend here, the better. He did not want to keep wandering these strange halls forever.

Xenia felt like she was doing well. This wasn't hard at all, not as far as she was concerned. Sure,t he path was crumbling behind them, and she had to hurry, but that wasn't so bad - nobody seemed to be in all that much distress.
Well, nobody until people started falling.
She swallowed, and picked up speed, until she came to a fork and considered her options with curious interest. Up, forward, or down -- forward looked dangerous, and down was right into the weird smoky abyss, but up? Up might carry her away. So she started jogging up the steps, taking them two at a time like the eager, excitable teenager she was. If she could just make it to the end, there would be a way out, surely, and she would be able to get out and find Wavellite and make sure she was okay and --
She wanted everything to be wonderful, was so caught up in being certain that she was on her way to freedom, that she didn't pay attention to her footing. The tip of her boot caught on the edge of a stair, and she flailed, letting out a loud, terrified yelp, and scrambled for a grip on something, anything at all.
There was nothing to grab, and the horrifying realization sank in, and she felt, somehow, like the moment where she hovered over the edge was suspended infinitely - but of course it wasn't, it couldn't be, that was just fear.
Finally, she fell.

Aokigahara wrinkled his nose. That....wasn't unfair, honestly. "I will attempt to avoid...jinxing it," he was pretty sure that was the phrase; it was one of those odd idioms he sometimes tripped over, "in the future." He eyed the three presented paths in front of them, but there wasn't a lot of time to choose.
None of it was pleasant, but Aokigahara did not fancy risking the path carrying them high enough up that a fall was more dangerous, or down into the mists.
"That looks like a reasonable enough option," he said, finally, and he started forward, selecting his steps carefully so as not to risk falling.Total: 13Strickenized apologies for the delay on filling in my post!

I hope I got everyone’s positions correct! If not, please let me know and I will edit!Themi: 3, Itsuki 10, Kalli 11, Caleb 8, Sutai 5 Themisto (+ 1), Itsuki (cat form, 0), Kallichore (+ 2), Caleb (-1), Sutai (+ 1) in that order Super Sailor ThemistoThemisto was terrified. In his panic, he was trying to keep himself calm by comparing this nonsense to the other large-scale cataclysm he’d been involved in - the one with the Negaverse officer bringing giant hoards of youma to the city streets near the power plant. He’d wound up in the hospital after that with a broken arm. Thankfully, it healed quickly, but this? They were running on broken glass above an endless pit of black smoke, and people were falling off around him. Breath came in ragged gasps and Itsuki was nowhere to be found. Did he fall off too? Somehow, just a small part of Themisto felt incredibly guilty for finding the cat annoying as hell. What if the people falling off were dying??What could they do about it!? Turning to the side, he caught a glimpse of someone… Kari! She was here too!? Jesus Christ… They were taking different paths, Themisto forced onto the straight and narrow path by the throng of other people crushing into him like panicked waves. Even above the din of cries and adrenaline, he shouted to her. ”KARI! Kari, keep running! You gotta live, Kari!!”Thisbe and Eta were here too, somewhere… Themisto hoped that they had survived and hadn’t fallen off the path. This was HELL. His lungs burned but he had to keep moving… A sharp intake of breath and Themisto happened to look straight ahead, catching a glimpse of a familiar orange ponytail. ”PERN! Dene, you gotta… holy s**t… Dene, you gotta keep moving!!” Themisto had to keep himself steady, the path was narrow and perilous. Orangeish Sherbert Yelling at you cuz don’t die! If I read right, they’re on different paths due to rolls. Skye Starrfyre Thisbe wtf is even happening right now. Eta HALP 1-3: You choose the straight, narrow path. It isn’t a hard trek, but you have to be careful so you don’t fall off. ------- Guardian Cat Itsuki (cat form)”SHARA-SAAAAAN---!” came a shriek from beneath people’s knees. In the throng of people, Itsuki had barely avoided being trampled. He was using people’s knees and thighs to try and jump onto higher vantage points. He didn’t have long human legs like Ash-denka or any of the humans here. Any other Mauvian risked being trampled to death in the crush of people. Itsuki was panicking and claws were out, darting from shoulder to shoulder as best he could. Surprisingly, Itsuki caught wind of a familiar fuku - Sharatan! Deftly the cat leaped from person to person to get as close to her as he could. Perhaps she was the key to safety. ”Shara-san! Shara-san!! Onegai, where is Themi-chan?? We got separated when we were pulled out of the room! Are you okay?! Is Benedict-sama with you!? Shara-san, what is happening?!!?” The cat lit on the senshi’s shoulders, worn out from the hellacious run his tiny legs had to endure. He would need to keep running - his survival rested on it. 8 or higher: You choose the stairs leading downward; it takes the least energy and you are able to advance quickly. ------- Eternal Sailor KallichoreScylla wouldn’t stand for this, and neither would she. Veering onto the path leading downward, Kallichore thought it best to let gravity do the work for them, if at all possible. Save their energy as much as possible for whatever might lie ahead. That was her thought process, and it seemed Scylla had the same idea. They wouldn’t allow for Ares’ Court to snuff them out so easily. It was just the same as it was six years ago. The same suffocating feeling of helplessness. The big difference now was that Kallichore sported wings - the same Scylla had inspired her to achieve all those years ago when she stood as a cadet before Ares herself. The Dark Mirror must’ve had a hand in this - it bore their distinctive mark. Looking beside her, the one who inspired her ascension to Eternal was running in tandem. Kallichore reached out to grab her hand, knowing that perhaps now, she could be the one supporting the Kraken. Infinities The BMC don’t play this mirror nonsense 8 or higher: You choose the stairs leading downward; it takes the least energy and you are able to advance quickly. ------- Civilian Caleb DesrosiersThe adrenaline in the air was unreal, and the throng of people, this living wave, was chock full of everyone imaginable - civilians, senshi, knights, negaverse agents, corrupted senshi… All but those strange Dark Mirrors he’d heard about a long time ago. But ultimately, it didn’t matter. Not to him. Caleb was up for taking the path of least resistance - let gravity do the running for him. Let the crazy people take the narrow path, or the path leading up into darkness. He didn’t care - he had a wife to see, and he wasn’t about to let himself fall off this path and die before he could see his beloved Makayla again. 8 or higher: You choose the stairs leading downward; it takes the least energy and you are able to advance quickly. ------- Sutai Squire of PolarisSutai was devastated. The one she’d tried to save - Susquehanna - had been possessed by something otherworldly and had willingly slipped from her arms and into the abyss. The Page alongside him swan dove as well, leaving the Squire all along. Tears filled her eyes and her vision started to blur, but the cracking path and the screams of everyone else, combined with her adrenaline and survival instinct, drove her to her feet. She didn’t want to leave them behind. She wanted to mourn them properly, as they deserved to be. She would hold a funeral… if she survived. Wailing and being pushed by the people behind her, Sutai scrambled along the path that led upward, thankful that her boots were relatively flat. Still, her knees wobbled and she found difficulty in ascending into the darkness. It was so dark everywhere…“...Susquehannaaaaaaa…..” cried she. 4-7: You choose the stairs leading upwards. Maybe higher ground will grant you a better vantage? You are met with only darkness, but it is easy to skip two steps at a time and hasten your trip. ------- Themisto: 8 (5 + 3)Itsuki: 11 (1 + 10)Kallichore: 16 (5 + 11)Caleb: 14 (6 + 8 )Sutai: 15 (10 + 5)

DelilahCurse it all. She couldn't find Mathias. If anything happened to him and she had to put up with their family alone... But she didn't have time to think as she came to a three way split. Without a second thought, Delilah dove for the stairs heading downward. It was easier to keep up speed and she wasn't out of breath by the time she got to the other side. What sort of game was this? Who was playing it? With the group of people that was here she couldn't believe this was a straight nega operation....was it? 4+(8-1) = 11Zeta CorviZeta didn't know what it was that made her look to her left but when she saw a fluff ball appear on a woman's shoulders, she realized that was Sharatan. Without a word, Zeta moved to fall in behind the pair as the headed off into the direction. "Miss Sharatan...what's going on?" Zeta called out. This woman was strong...stronger than she could ever be. Something about her....Zeta felt he could at least be around someone who clearly had less of a problem about being a senshi. She was different. She hated every moment of it and still she powered up... Why? 8+7 = 15Anne-MarieHis arm snaked around her in a way that instantly made Anne-Marie thing....everything was going to work out. However at that moment the question really was....how? Behind them, Anne-Marie stole a glance over her shoulder just to see chunks fall into the darkness. How quickly that could have been them....her. "If it gave me wings to get out of here, I think I would wear a clown suit." She responded, glancing back at him, trying to return his smile. It was very much not the time to be joking but in a way, it was also the perfect time for it. Something about the humor and sarcasm gave her comfort. "If we make it out of here alive, remind me to thank you." Points if he caught the reference as she moved with him, her hand slipping over his to give it a squeeze. She had to believe they would be alright....god help them if they weren't. She's smack someone with more than a hair brush! 1+(7-1) = 7-Unquoting Kyu for second edit- Rae"As fine as I'll ever be...." Rae called back to Quinn asking her. Now was not the time to poke fun. Now was not the time to comment about the fact she had at least three blisters on her heels. Now was... "Screw it..." Rae commented glancing down at her Louis Vuitton design pumps and kicked them off. Over the darkness they went and along with them...several hundred dollars. She'd figure out something later... "UP" Rae finally agreed, using the moment now to switch the hold on his arm. Now she took off, keeping him with her. Yep...those blisters were bleeding. 7+(4-1)=10
