Melvin perked up as Sid moved in closer and Melvin scooted just a bit more to remove more soace between them, smiling at the other man's enthusiasm. "Yes. Helped discover it again in fact. If the weather decides to clear up I will be more than happy to give you a private tour. Or if -" He glanced over as Nash called out to them all to switch, haven written a prompt and a new list of names.

"Damn. Well, that's our cut off. I'd love to continue our talk in a less crowded place. I have plenty of pillows at home if you are inclinded to pick up from where we left off."

At the new list he looked at the prompt and soon found himself sitting infront of someone he had only seen around but hadn't met. "Hello Kade. So, superpowers aside from a fit form?"

Time was up and they were being moved. Luka barely had time to go "Bye Henry!" with her arm thrust up in a goodbye wave as she was lead to her next "date". Maybe they could meet up after and talk about a small trip.

She'd have to clear stuff with Lele anyway.

Luka found herself seated across a boy in a beanie and she grinned brightly at him. "Hi!" She waggled fingers at him in a wave. "I'm Luka," she gestured to her name tag and felt like introducing herself despite the fact that their names were written together and they'd obviously been paired up.

"Superpowers huh? Hrm...."

They'd met before -- on a mission, in the heat of a moment. It meant that they didn't have to worry about introductions, at least. Ever could just sit opposite Zane with a quirk of a smile on his face, scraping hair back out of his eyes and chewing on the question a bit.

"Aren't we already superpowered? With fast healing and super strength, and weapons with, basically, magical powers..." He tilted his head a little. Stretched his legs out better. Wished he had an actual chair, really. "I don't think we need much more of the strength and all that. It'd be nice to know what people are thinking, some of the time, though. Or to be able to do things really fast, pack more into a day..."

"I mean sorta. We can still die and get injured." But Ever was right, there were plenty of benefits to being a hunter that were basically nerd's super powered dreams.

Sitting on the floor was okay, for now, but Zane was pretty sure he'd regret having to be cross-legged without a wall to lean on in another twenty minutes or so. Already his legs were cramping.

Blankets and pillows were fun in theory but not practice especially with the no touching rule.

"Telepathy would be cool if you could control what you hear. Imagine it would be horrible to always have voices pressing into your thoughts whether you wanted them or not." Talk about a headache! "What about shapeshifting or being able to summon whatever you needed just by thinking about it?"

When the second round was called Inoke was both glad and a little annoyed. Glad because it meant, hopefully, no more questions about being repodded and the why's of that. Slightly annoyed because he wasn't sure what to talk about with anyone.

Much less 'dating' things with girls. He swore he'd put on his form he was into guys but knowing him he'd checked the wrong box somehow.

"I know I don't look that weird." The new woman was giving him a weird look and he knew he'd at least put on nicer clothes that day.

Kammy kept to her little corner of the room in hopes that her 'date' was gonna show up or reveal herself or just, give her some sort of signal. When Nash called out the end of the first round she blinked and just focused her eyes on the floor.

She had been stood up at a speed date.

Was that some sort of achievement for being that lame? She didn't know how to deal with it. Sure she was pretty nerdy and stuff but she wasn't...that bad, right...right??

She pulled out her sheet and tried not to feel emotional about the whole thing. There had to be some sort of reasonable explanation as to why a guy couldn't even bear to talk to her for ten minutes right? Ok, no matter, she should focus on the next one. Maybe it would be better?

"Ok...Lin..Parker..." She wondered around the area looking for this person. "Umm, Lin? Anyone called Lin?" Maybe she should have done this from the start. But then it wouldn't have been hard to find her standing in a corner...

Standing across from Micah made Merric feel, if possible, even more nervous.

"Uh...so, superheroes," he said lamely. "Any idea as to what you would be..?"

The last time October had seen Nora, she'd made him do work.

Now he sat awkwardly near to her, gazing up, wondering if she was going to make him do work again.

"Invisibility," he said decidedly, after a moment. "I would definitely want to have some sort of invisibility power."
