Kori was thrilled with the idea of going to a rally with Satoshi. She didn’t know if she’d be able to ride passenger with him when he raced, considering that it might be dangerous, but she liked the idea of cheering him on and watching him come in first.

“I’d love to come to a rally with you! It sounds exciting.” If it was anything like what she’d just experienced, then she was sure that her night life was about to get a whole lot busier, and more interesting…Lost in thought about all that had happened in the last few hours – the fight with Sato, the Club scene, their kissing on the dance floor, the race they’d crashed – Kori didn’t realize how close they were getting to the High Rise until Satoshi spoke.

Turning to look at him, her eyes a bit wide, she felt her cheeks heat in a blush. Smiling, she glanced away, suddenly a little self-conscious and a bit shy. She hadn’t expected Satoshi to suggest her staying over at his place, but then again, they had been making out on the dance floor. Deciding that she wanted to be bold, she looked back at Sato and smiled. “Yeah, I’d like that…” Like Satoshi, she knew full well that Kasai and Oriko were enjoying the empty apartment, so why take the chance of seeing something that couldn’t be unseen?

As they pulled into Satoshi’s parking spot, Kori got out of the car and waited for Satoshi to come around. She was tempted to take his hand, but at the same time she didn’t want to move too fast. Which was silly, considering she was heading up to his apartment for the night…

He was glad to know she wanted to go with him to the rallies that he participated in, it would be nice to have his Angel there, cheering him on from the sidelines. He wouldn't dare allow anyone to ride with him during the crazier races, knowing how dangerous they could get, never mind the nightmare that constantly plagued him. Satoshi wouldn't be able to forgive himself if anything were to happen to Kori during a race, especially if he were to crash.

When she looked at him with those wide eyes and an adorable blush he had to wonder what she thought he'd meant. Sato was a straightforward kind of guy and had sincerely wanted to cuddle on the couch with her and watch a movie while they dozed off. Stepping out of Honey once they were parked he wasted no time rushing around to Kori's side, offering her his hand before they made for the elevator. Should she accept his hand he would hold onto hers until she decided to let go, if not he'd simply tuck his hands into his pockets, either way he was smiling. It was nice to have a full night with his Angel, even more so after saving her from the dragon of an ex-boyfriend.

Arriving at his apartment she'd notice there were fewer boxes left unpacked, and some of Satoshi's belongings were displayed about the rooms. It wasn't hard to see now that racing may as well be in his blood, model cars decorated the shelves upon the walls, most of them were the older classics like Honey, making it known that he almost held the newer cars with distaste. There were more racing magazines on the coffee table, neatly stacked in two piles rather than being splayed about. He had finally gotten around to putting up some black curtains and had even picked out a charcoal and grey area rug that cushioned the sofa set that he owned. It was looking well put together for a bachelor pad. Off in the corner he'd set up a small desk for his work with the school, paper work stacked all over along with some textbooks.

"If you want something to relax in, I might have a pyjama set you can have. Mother sends out gifts from time to time and forgets that I can't stand silk." He offered, wanting Kori to be as comfortable as possible. He shed his own jacket and vest as he spoke, revealing the lightening patterned t-shirt that hugged his form like a glove. Smiling over to her he went into his bedroom to procure the aforementioned clothing, setting it on the back of his couch. "Feel free to use my room to change, I left the door open and the light on.

Stepping into Satoshi’s apartment, she noticed an immediate difference in the décor since the last time she'd visited. Stepping further inside, she smiled at the curtains, the rug, the magazines, but she particularly liked the model cars. She was tempted to touch them, but she didn’t dare. If they were rare, then they could be fragile. The last thing she wanted to do was break one of his prized possessions – and they were prized, given how they were displayed. Instead, she contemplated getting him another model for his birthday. She'd been wracking her brain trying to think about what to get him, but now she had a better idea. Fiddling with the pendant at her throat, the one Satoshi had given her, she smiled.

Lost in thought on which model car he might like, she didn’t realize he’d gone into his bedroom to grab her a set of pajamas. She’d fully expected to sleep in her clothes, but it seemed Satoshi wanted her to be comfortable - he was so thoughtful. Looking up at Satoshi, she smiled and blushed a bit. Taking the clothes, she felt how soft they were. Kori had to wonder if Satoshi would like the silk on her.

“Thank you, Sato.” Leaning in, she placed a kiss on his cheek before heading into his bedroom to change. Closing the door behind her, she set her bag on the bed, along with the pajamas. Taking off her jacket, she took the time to look around Satoshi’s room. It was sparsely decorated, but well kept. Satoshi was very neat for a bachelor – although she hoped that he would give up his bachelor status soon.

With that thought in mind, she removed her shirt. Kori debated taking off her bra, but considering how thin the silk was, she didn’t think that was a good idea – not unless Satoshi wanted to take things further between them…After removing her shoes and her pants, she opted to keep her underwear on as well before pulling on the pajama set. They were waaaay too big for her, but she liked them. They were soft and light and she liked the idea of wearing Satoshi’s clothes. Heading into the bathroom, she washed her face a bit, removing her make-up. Running her fingers through her hair, she hoped that she didn’t look too much like a child, dressed the way she was. After folding her clothes and putting them aside, she stepped out of Satoshi’s room and back out into the living room.

When Kori would emerge from the bedroom, she would be greeted by the sight of the living room having been transformed to a comfy zone, the couch covered with crocheted afgans and a pair of plush pillows. There was a movie list brought up on his netflix, the remote situated within reach on the coffee table. Satoshi was coming back from the kitchen with a small tray, on it was two glasses of milk, one warmed and the other chilled, along with a modest bowl of Oreos and chocolate chip cookies. He had also taken a moment to change out of his club outfit into a more comfortable pair of cotton sweatpants and a loose fitting black t-shirt. Spotting Kori he stopped dead in his tracks, she looked adorable in the slightly oversized pyjamas, with her hair down and makeup gone it was a complete transformation that left him breathless.

"H-hey you, go ahead and pick the flick, I brought snacks!" As smooth as he'd been at the club, Satoshi found himself stuttering slightly at seeing her in the silken night wear. A part of him seemed to notice immediately that she'd left her bra on, while the more gentlemanly side of him scolded himself for even thinking of glancing at that region of his Angel. Smiling through it all he went to the living space and set the tray down on the coffee table next to the remote. He sincerely hoped she didn't think he was attempting to kiss up to her as an apology for earlier in the night, the whole cellphone fiasco, he was honestly just trying to be a good man, maybe even boyfriend material? After all he had gotten Kasai's blessing, but now his mind was going crazy, Sato blinked hard as he sat down on the couch, shunting lewd thoughts from his mind.

Kori didn’t miss the way that Satoshi seemed to stop dead in his tracks upon catching sight of her. She also noticed how he gave her a quick once over. Smiling, she nervously tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear. She was glad that he liked what he saw – it reassured her that he was seeing her as a woman and not a girl.

Heading for the couch, she took a seat before grabbing the remote. There were so many good movies on his list that she didn’t know what they should watch. To her surprise, there was one movie on Satoshi’s list she’d NEVER expected to see there. Putting it on, she sat back as Satoshi took his seat next to her.

Kori was touched to see that Satoshi had remembered her preference for chilled milk instead of warm. Reaching forward, she took her glass and an oreo in hand as the opening scenes for the movie Trolls played on the screen.

Smirking, she looked to Satoshi before taking a bite of her cookie. She felt like teasing him about the movie, but at the same time, it had been one she’d been meaning to watch too – she’d heard the soundtrack was amazing.

“I just couldn’t resist…” Cuddling a bit close, she turned her attention to the screen. While she looked to be focusing on the film, she was well aware of Satoshi’s warmth seeping into her where they touched and the way her heart seemed to be beating madly in her chest. She knew this wasn’t what normally happened when a guy invited a girl to stay the night at his place, but she’d take it any day of the week…this was paradise.

He was surprised to see the movie she'd picked, one he'd been secretly wanting to watch for a while now but hadn't gotten around to. He'd expected a bit of teasing considering it was a kid's movie, but when none came he was relieved as he scooped up his own warmed milk and a chocolate chip cookie, smirking as she said she couldn't resist. "I'm glad you did, I've been meaning to watch this for a while now." He dunked his cookie and bit into it as the intro rolled, enjoying the fact that she hadn't read into his invitation as being a subversive way to become intimate with her. That she was happy they were literally watching a movie and chilling helped him relax all the more.

After the snacks were gone, Sato brought his arm around her and encouraged Kori to cuddle in against him. Eventually he drew the blankets up around them as the movie progressed, knowing that silk didn't retain heat very well. It wasn't long before he began to grow tired and adjusted himself to lay on his side, pulling Kori down playfully and nuzzling into her neck for a moment before settling down enough to watch the rest of the movie.

When Satoshi brought his arm around her, Kori was more than happy to cuddle close to him. Placing a hand on his chest, she sighed happily as they watched the movie together. She’d been right, the sound track was amazing.

By the time Princess Poppy was slipping into the Burgen Castle to rescue her friends, Satoshi had drawn the blankets around them and then moved to lay down on his side. Kori had been about to attempt to snuggle close when Satoshi playfully pulled her down to lay with him, her back to his front. Nuzzling her neck, she laughed lightly, tickled by the action.

“Hey, that tickles!” She said with a smile as they settled down, cuddling close. With his arm wrapped around her, she was safe from falling over the edge of the couch and she was perfectly comfortable. Satoshi was warm and he smelled nice. Lying there in his arms, part of her wished they were in a larger space, like his bed, but the couch let them be close, even if it was out of necessity.

Releasing a happy sigh, she felt herself getting sleepy. She was tempted to angle her head back and kiss Satoshi, but she knew that that would lead to ‘other things’ and they weren’t dating yet. Kori knew that Satoshi was giving her time to get over Hayate, or at least she hoped that was why he hadnt asked her out yet…

“I love this…can we do this more often?” She asked with a small smile, glancing over her shoulder. They did movie nights all the time, but she wanted this, the cuddling and the closeness. She wouldn’t mind sleeping like this, as long as Satoshi didn’t let her go…

He chuckled when she squirmed from his nuzzling, keeping in mind that she was indeed ticklish. Once they were settled Satoshi shifted a little bit just to get a little more comfortable with her on the couch. When she looked at him over her shoulder he smiled, peeking at her from behind her shoulder. "You got it, maybe next weekend?" He asked, instantly regretting not having a television set up in his bedroom, Satoshi vowed to remedy that as soon as possible.

Cuddling up with Kori as the movie progressed, sleep eventually began pulling harder on him. He nearly made it to the end when he fell asleep, he simply couldn't help himself, she smelled wonderful and was soft and supple to hold, it took a lot of self control to keep his hands from wandering. He wanted to make certain that they were serious about one another before he even thought about getting serious with her. Having a firm hold on his V-card Satoshi was almost too respectable about inciting anything sexual with his Angel.

Smiling, she nodded happily, “Next weekend, it’s a date.” Knowing that she had a date arranged with Satoshi sent a thrill through her. If she could have this every weekend, she’d be the happiest girl in Tokyo. A smile on her face, she continued to watch the movie, Satoshi’s arm wrapped securely around her.

But soon, she too began to feel tired and as the movie approached its end, she started to nod off. By the time the credits rolled and Justin Timberlake’s ‘Just dance’ played in the background, Kori and Satoshi were both sound asleep. Surprisingly, Kori didn’t shift very much that night. With Satoshi holding her close, she felt warm and safe, cherished…

It wouldn’t be until hours later, that Kori slipped from Satoshi’s arms to use the bathroom. Upon returning, she slipped back into her spot, only this time, she cuddled up against him, chest to chest. Slipping one leg in-between his, she wrapped her arm around his torso and rested her head against his chest. Sighing happily, she breathed in his scent and felt sleep take her back down.

For the most part Satoshi slept soundly, nestled in with Kori on the couch. It wasn't until after she'd gotten up and then climbed back onto the couch with him that he slowly began to slip into a deep enough sleep that he began to dream, it started out like any of his other racing dreams, but eventually that damned yellow Skyline came into view on his rear view mirror. In reality his hands began to twitch and clench at the air and the loose part of Kori's shirt, in his dream he was gripping hard on the steering wheel of Honey, going into a corner with one hell of a drift in efforts of cutting off the Skyline.

Coming into the straightaway his face scrunched in concentration, a serious frown appearing on his lips in the waking realm. When he was once again pushed off the edge and through the safety bar he lurched awake, nearly pushing Kori off the couch only to realize what was about to happen and pulled her closer instead. Breathing hard he tried to calm himself down, hoping desperately that he hadn't woken her up. Closing his eyes tightly he struggled to calm himself, silently wondering why he wasn't able to shake that damned nightmare.

Despite nearly being pushed off the couch, Kori hardly stirred. Humming lightly in her sleep as Satoshi pulled her closer, she instinctively cuddled closer to him. Nuzzling his chest, she mumbled something incoherent in her sleep as her arm snaked around his torso. With his warmth seeping into her and his heart beat in her ear, Kori was perfectly comfortable and content, despite the small space she and Satoshi occupied.

As if sensing his inner turmoil, Kori hummed in her sleep again. “Mmmm…Sa…to…” Tipping her head back, she barely opened her eyes to look up at Satoshi. Smiling ever so slightly, she leaned up to kiss his lips lightly, before closing her eyes and nuzzling back into her spot. If Satoshi were to ask her if she remembered the action, Kori would have no memory of it. Whether it was because she didn’t get a good night kiss, or because she subconsciously knew that he needed some form of comfort, they’d never know…but hopefully, despite the fact that Kori wouldn’t remember, she hoped the kiss and the fact that she wanted to be near him, helped soothed him.

It was taking him a bit of time to fall back asleep after being jarred awake by his nightmare, and so he felt it when Kori cuddled closer in response to his protective pull on her form. The nuzzles against his chest and her adorable mutterings helped put him at ease, allowing his mind to rest enough for sleep to begin closing it's grip on him once more. Distantly he heard his name being whispered in her sleep and it made him all the happier that he was on her mind even in slumber. Darkness had finally brought him under when he felt the faintest pressure of a kiss being placed upon his lips, as she returned to nuzzling against his chest he sank back asleep fully, the memory drifting about in his mind, waiting to be recalled upon waking.

Morning came with the scent of bacon and something sweet on the air, Satoshi having slipped from Kori's grasp in order to sneak into the kitchen and begin working on a breakfast fit for a princess. Bacon, pancakes and fresh cut up strawberries decorated the plates that were on the tray he was now carrying over to the coffee table next to where Kori still lay, sleeping like the angel she was. There was even a pair of mugs on the tray, one Earl Gray and a warming Chai tea steeping in boiled water that had been allowed to rest for a couple of minutes. While Satoshi wasn't typically a chef, with the apology he knew he needed to make, looking up a recipe for the pancakes felt like a good start.

Sitting down on the edge of the couch facing her, Sato gently reached out and rubbed her shoulder. "Good Morning~" He sang to her, a smile on his lips as he watched her slowly rouse from slumber.

Kori came awake to the smell of fresh cooked bacon and the sound of Satoshi’s voice. Gently rubbing her shoulder, he wished her a good morning in a sing song voice that sounded happy despite the early hour. Humming lightly as she opened her eyes, she looked over her shoulder to see Satoshi sitting next to her, a smile on his face. She couldn’t help but smile back, her eyes half open as she woke up from a surprisingly restful sleep. Kori didn’t usually like sleeping on the couch, but it seemed that Satoshi had made a comfy pillow.

“Good morning.” She whispered with another smile. Stretching a bit. She moved onto her back so she could see him a bit better instead of having her back to him. Looking around the living room, she quickly spotted the breakfast tray on the coffee table. ‘Oh my gosh, he made us breakfast!’ This was very reminiscent of when she’d made him breakfast after the night he’d stayed with her up in the Penthouse. It seemed he was returning the favor.

“Aw, you made breakfast…” She said with a smile as she sat up a bit, propping herself up against the arm of the couch. It was only when a stray strand of her hair slipped onto her face that she realized that she likely had crazy bed head. Blushing a bit, she reached up to tame the mess that was her hair. ‘What I wouldn’t give for a hair tie right now…’ Luckily for her, Satoshi didn’t seem to care that she looked a little disheveled.

After a few moments of running her fingers through her hair, she forced herself to stop. He’d already seen her ‘morning face’ so it didn’t really matter now. “It smells wonderful, Satoshi, thank you.” Aside from Kasai (who didn’t count), Satoshi was the only guy to make her breakfast. The fact that they’d slept in one another’s arms the night before only made the gesture that much more intimate – but she knew that he was just being nice.

Sniffing, she spotted the cups of tea and immediately recognized the aroma of the chai – her favorite. “Mmmm, chai~. You really pulled out all the stops huh?” As far as she knew, Satoshi didn’t like chai tea, which meant that he’d bought some, likely just for her…Smiling to herself, she tried not to read too much into that either. “So, do you have any plans today?” She wasn’t about to assume that he had a free day, he was a TA after all, for all she knew he had a pile of papers to grade. If needed, she was totally willing to help out...

He couldn't help but watch her fuss over her hair with an amused smile on his lips, she was so adorable first thing in the morning that he almost wanted to grab his phone to snap a shot of her right then and there. Shifting on the couch so that she could sit up properly he reached out to scoop up her tea so to hand it to her. "It's not every day I get to have the pleasure of an Angel waking in my house." Satoshi would take up his own mug once hers was securely in hand, not wanting to look at the pile of papers in the corner, but when she asked if he had plans he sighed into his mug before taking a small sip.

"Paperwork, I need to get a few stacks worth of tests and homework graded for Monday. Needless to say I've been putting it off, but it's totally been worth it." Between spending time with the Twins and his races, Satoshi had been procrastinating hard when it came down to doing his school work. It was unusual for him to be so far behind, but when Kori was involved he found he had a hard time concentrating on anything else. "Other than that, I'm probably going to stick around here today, maybe toss on some Anime or a movie." He shrugged, waiting for Kori to be ready for food before bringing his own plate into his lap to dig in.

Kori blushed a bit at Sato’s comment. She didn’t think she was any kind of angel, but he begged to differ. Taking her tea in two hands she sipped it slowly, savoring the taste of the spices. Smiling at Sato over the rim of her cup, she noticed his reaction to his paperwork. Smiling to herself, she knew that she was the reason he’d been neglecting his duties as a teacher’s assistant. As of late, they’d been hanging out a lot after school. She would say she felt bad, but she didn’t. Like Satoshi, she’d enjoyed every moment of them spending time together, even if it meant extra paper work for him.

Deciding it would be best to help him out, since she’d helped cause the back up of paper work, she smiled. “Well, you know I’m always happy to help you grade papers…If you want, we can just hang out here and I can help you tackle those piles.” Placing her mug on the table she reached for her plate of food, not wanting it to get too much colder. Satoshi followed suit and dug into his food with relish.

Pouring a light layer of syrup on her pancakes, she offered Satoshi the syrup before cutting into the fluffy disks. Taking a bite, she hummed in satisfaction. “These are delicious, Sato. Nice job!” Pancakes were one of her favorite breakfast foods – you just couldn’t go wrong with pancakes.

After finishing her bacon, strawberries and most of her pancakes, she set the plate aside and grabbed her warm mug of tea. Sighing happily, she leaned back into the arm of the couch, completely content. “Oh that was wonderful…” She said with almost a sleepy expression. Looking at Satoshi, she was completely happy and content. She felt so comfortable and at ease in his apartment and in his presence, it was nice…

“So Im thinking, I do the dishes…you go shower and change into some comfortable casual, lounge wear, and after Im done cleaning up, I’ll do the same upstairs and then come back down to hang with you for the rest of the day, what do you think?” She fully expected Satoshi to protest to her cleaning, but she was at least going to make the offer.
