There was a soft hiss of anger but nothing more.
He narrowed his eyes as he taunted him with reconsideration. Information on Sol simply wasn't worth the price he would likely pay. He kept a keen eye until he was told what to do or else the consequences, he glanced to the screen and frowned. He had heard this song and dance before. But he had little choice but to comply for now. He sighed, his frown deepening as he looked down and nodded quietly. "...and how much..to get her out?" he inquired softly.

He blinked then chuckled "You want to play the game? Don't you know it's not true?" he chuckled. "Or is it? Do you want to risk that. How about this, she is five thousand, to much trouble to keep her what being owned by SIU and all. It isn't like she won't return though " he smiled, finding this amusing and wondering what Zaku might say.

Zaku thought for a bit, "I'll play the game for her... Not her release.. her protection and to stay with me at all times. I'm sure you're familiar with this kind of bargain.... I've made it before... Is my information worth that?" he asked seriously, staring right at the scientist, seeing what will come of it.

"I depends on your information, meaning I will be the judge if it is worth that" he said with a calculating look. "Worth the danger of you using her passive powers for yourself, or sending her for Trisuri?" he smiled. "No one here believes she is the child she looks. Unlike your poor mother who was only a a danger to herself experiment 001 is not. What you offer must be high ...very high. Or you can adjust what you want for something a little more realistic "

...you have collars. As long as she is safe and I can see her...physically. That's all I'm asking in this game. As for information.. I have no idea what you value. The questions I've been ask do no use in helping me figure that out either. So tell me what I could answer in all honesty that would make that price. Past that, all i have is my complete compliance to offer." he bargained. He honestly had no idea what they would want. And even if they wanted it, it was no guarantee he would have the information they sought.

The smile turn into a condensing one "Hm... " as if considering it. "I can deal with that. " letting Zaku think he won. "I do not know " he held his hand up a little. "Assuming you spoke of all the questions truthfully I have no other use for you. You are basically worthless now in terms of information....what do you think will interest me? The location of Ree even if he is brain dead there might be something to pull out, Silver, Rasiel, ...hmm seems almost all the information that interest me is locations of those you consider family. What a pity and you have no idea where they are. " he said watching him. "Lets take Ree..you used him, let him take the blame... yes he might be the son of your current...what ever he is. Yet he isn't connected to you..the one least likely to hurt, in exchange for Hexxis. Unless you have something else in mind... yet you don't even know of the Mafia or Mise. So tell me what do you have to barter?" he looked doubtful.

Zaku frowned, looking down in deep thought. He had, for all he was aware, spilled everything in the interrogation back in SIU, the only thing not revealed was the fact that DH had been involved, and even he wasn't willing to sell her out. He seemed contemplative before sighing softly in defeat. "What about this... I actually do know who's helping Mise... doing a lot of his dirty work to stir up as much chaos as possible. While I didn't stay in contact with anyone that switched over to mafia, someone I know did help them for a bit, healing, he's a neutral party, and sometimes doesn't realize he might be helping the wrong side. He told me about a few of their plans, before I was able to get him to leave from there." he spoke as if confessing he had somewhat lied earlier, not entirely, but to a small extent. "If I told you that.. would you barter Hexxis for it." he offered, a small bit of hopelessness in that it might not be what they were looking for.

The scientist said nothing staring at Zaku with faintly narrowed eyes as he contemplated the answer. "A few?" He sounded intrigued then sighed. "Tell me the plans, if they are worth it I will allow Hexxis to be closer to you " he said with a sharp stare at Zaku and waited.

Zaku frowned, not looking the scientist in the eyes. "Yeah." he admitted quietly. He looked at him briefly, tense that they could just say it wasn't worth it then they have both the information and he still wouldn't have Hexxis. This was a gamble and the cards stacked against hum. "..fine... I..ill play." he took a breath, looking down again. "Okay...so you know renegades ran as a team, lead by not one but two people. A face filled with words meant to move, meanwhile a second does the action work, working to move pawns and collect resources. For me, that was Andy. Every one knew that. Well, mafia does the same. It isn't a coincidence that some members switched. They were "convinced". What I am saying is that he has a partner. That person is Kylar Gatt. His job is to collect haven experiments to use against you all. Its why he kidnapped Hexxis and Ashral. He tried to get Melody too but Mara didn't let that happen. You built perfect soldiers...and now they are going to use them against you. You've done the work for them. If I had a guess, he probably took Silver too by now... Now that I'm not there to protect her. He's able to rewrite memories and programming. He's been your worst enemy and you didn't even know it. Also... he's the one that actually killed Criels leader, get you all chasing ree while Mise slips in to take control unnoticed until Haven shot his daughter. They moved the plan ahead earlier. Now they are going to blow Cruel off the map entirely and then they'll be knocking on Norcrest's door. They have not only renegade assets now but also their own. You thought renegades was a nuisance? We were only targeting Haven. But they want to eradicate the human race entirely." he spoke before his frown deepened. "...is that enough for her... please..." he spoke softly, just praying for a yes.

The scientist listened with interest, one hand holding the pen lightly in his hand before he jus took lowered the pen and wrote nothing. He still listened to Zaku intently but that was all. "It is ...interesting. I will have to speak to a few people and will get back to you " he said quietly. "In the meantime ... I did get something you were dying to try " he glanced to the door and got up to open it to let an elf meta enter the room. Scars lines their arms and hands and seem to be carrying a bowl of soup.

Zaku looked crestfallen when he was told he would get an answer later. Though when the scientist spoke of something he was dying to try, he tensed. Watching carefully as an even meta came in with a bowl of soup. "...I failed to see the connection.... I didn't ask for this." he stared at the bowl. "What is it..."

"Connection? I am just bringing what I said I would " he said quietly. "The .308 combat sniper rifles dish. What you asked for specifically " he smirked faintly but there was a flicker of underlying anger in his eyes. "Please drink it all As'lete worked very hard on it. It will be your dinner" he motioned the elf toward Zaku as he moved forward and offered it to him.

Zaku tensed, staring at the bowl then at the scientist. Really....
"Is this some kind of sick joke... You know what I was talking about! You trained Tri to shoot sniper rifles then used him to shoot Mise's daughter to start a war!! If that was my ******** clear to you!" his voice was raised, stood up even, anger fuming with every breath as he glared at the scientist.
He growled softly at him, forcing himself to try to calm down. "I'll go hungry." he announced and simply sat down, crossing his legs and looking like he was about to shut out every thing again.

The look of amusement only grew as Zaku became furious. "Start a war... do....you really think we didn't know about Mise? " he was very truly amused now. "He's sloppy, once he started going after others meta haters on such a wide scale well.. you can not do what they did without leaks and mess ups " he crossed his arms as the elf continued to stare at Zaku with a completely stoic look.
"I will say...I do not know why they specifically choose Trisuri to go after him. There was some strings pulled with someone outside... to specifically use him instead of any other. They wanted his commands and even letting him go free when he was captured...walking to where ever he was sent. " he shrugged as if he didn't particularly care, other than the damage it could cause to Zaku. ."Then everything went right back to how it was" he said with a motion to the TV.
The elf had barely moved at all in the time.
"The start of this "war" and I do say war loosely " he mused "it is nothing but a civil war at this point, not Geat War 2. " he shook his head. "Hm..lI went off subject. Leave the soup in front of him and come. I hope to see it gone come morning. " he said looking st the clock and turning to leave.
The elf stared at Zaku and placed it down before turning to follow the scientist out.

Zaku had his head down and sitting, he didn't want to give him to time of day. "You sure it wasn't ********. You're all sick." he muttered. He didn't even know what to think anymore. Everything he thought kept changing and getting more confusing. <******** this guy, ******** EVERYTHING.
He reached down and gripped the sides of the bowl tightly as if he was ready to throw it at the scientist in his anger but forced himself to release the bowl, shaking hands withdrawing as he clenched his teeth in a soft growl and used everything in his willpower to keep his hands on his legs and putting his head down and staying silent.
