"Sure can do Mister." Alicia immediately went over to Gretchen's other side as soon as Dawson asked if she could help watch over her for a bit, slinging an arm around her waist so that she could take over Dawson's role while freeing him up for whatever he had in mind.

"There's a good spot beneath that palm tree over there. Think you can manage that?" She pointed towards the place that she had in mind before turning back to Gretchen with a smile. It was a good thing that Dawson managed to get to her in time before anything worse could happen.

Bix had played dead after the tentacle had been dispatched. He couldn't blame anyone who hit him in an effort to take out the monster, but he was forever grateful for those who had healed or defended him in the process.

Considering he had been in and out of consciousness through the fight (whipped around and eventually tossed) it was easier to simply play dead or unconscious until things were over.

The flood and washing up had been just about as fun as nearly turning into a hentai.

The pale young man simply lay, drenched, fully clothed and tried to pull himself together.

Still dripping wet, Melvin started to work on removing his coat and shirt, and took off his shoes so he could take of his wet socks. Neatly he set them over a log to dry in the sun and started to walk about the island to see if he could find anyone. If need be, he could swim out to retrieve someone as it seemed this island was not affected by what was happening on Deus.

"This is bizarre that the attacks are centered at Deus only." He mumbled as he went to check on everyone.


"Does anyone need any help?" He asked.

Zane had been minding his own business when things had gotten well, wild. All of a sudden a tidal wave swept him off and he was nothing more than someone flailing in the water until he broke surface and washed up on a shore.

< Where are we? > Lerna's sharp voice echoed in his head.

"Dunno," Zane responded, trying to shake the chill out of his spine, along with all of the water that clung to him and his clothing.

< How informative > Lerna replied dryly and he shrugged.

"Dunno what to tell you, cept it's not home."

He waved a hand, dismissively. "Okay, okay. I'll find someone to ask."

Melvin stood on the shoreline and looked out before spotting several hunters getting to work cutting at trees for coconuts. Reaching back, he pulled out his artifact, one with a rather annoying side effect, and considered it a moment before activating it. A few little fish dropped off his person which weren't even worth placing on a pizza. Then, out of nowhere, a giant pissed off looking fish dropped out of his hair and onto the shoreline. Melvin glanced about as if this was perfectly normal when he knew it probably looked insane to others. Still, fish was fish.

Gritting his teeth from the bite the animal gave him, he fired at the fish and only managed to nick a fin.

With one shot, he managed to shoot off the fishes head and stared at it a moment before picking it up by it's gill and walking over to the group.

"I have a lighter, but it might need to dry out before it's usable," Jordan volunteered. He had taken off his coat, shirt, and boots, and was laying out his clothes and the various items from his bag on the grass above the beach to let them dry out.

He picked up the lighter and shook it; it didn't seem to be leaking, at least. Clicking the wheel brought no immediate flame, however. "Give it a few minutes in the sun?"

"Sure. I'm going to get some sticks and stones and get a fire going. We'll probably need it for tonight anyways. If anyone else wants to fish, we could work on getting everyone fed." He informed them, setting the fish down on a stone further away from the water and in the shade of a tree. From what he saw there didn't seem to be any animals that might take it and the birds didn't even come down. "Someone watch my fish please."

He went out to start collecting some sticks and bark to use for a fire.

It was a mystery why the glowing stick still inside her hand, what happened was like her pet phrase, awful. The girl that she helped bounced off the ground and delivered a powerful blow to the squid. Then things got quiet. In a fleeting moment, she thought she could call it end. However, the ocean didn't think so. The huge wave engulfed everyone and she wanted to say awful for a second time when she was stirring within the water. The water went into her eyes, ears, nose and her mouth, muffled her senses.

When she thought that was the end of her life, the tsunami had brought her to the shore of an island, then receded. The first thing Gretel did was checking if her glasses were still with her, akin to a miracle and her hard effort to press it against her head, it was still where it should be. Next, she crawled up and breathed. The salt water made her eyes sore and her throat burned from drinking too much water. Luckily, her condition was not bad.

Blackout was quiet throughtout the whole time, but she could feel he was with her. Anyway, holding the strange glowing stick, she began to examine the small island and discovered some more faces. Some were fishing, some were trying to get out from the water and the mist trainee would love some times alone. She found a cove but to her disappointment, there were early arrivers already.

A man laid down, unconscious and next to her was a blonde lady. "Is he alright?" Of course there would be unlucky people hit their heads against some hard surfaces when stirred in the current. Gretel found a spot and sat down close to the couple.

While out to collect food for the fire, Melvin looked up at the coconut trees and decided it was best to collect as many resources for everyone to feed them and repair their shields. Who knew if another squid would show up.

Taking out Saliva, he fired up at the tree.

After another shot, a coconut fell down and Melvin picked it up before turning to the fish. "I'm gonna take everything into the cove. If anyone wants to bring stuff to a combined food stash, maybe we can get everyone fed for the day. There is a lot of us here."

Taking the fish and coconut, he headed to the cove and set them down. Inside the cove, he moved over to Sherry and another woman to look at Mark. "How is he doing? Responsive?"
