[Don't worry. It WAS funny, to us, not the characters.] Stacy turned around to see Samantha. She was in her towels, and her face looked shocked. "I couldn't find the sleepwear...", Stacy said sheepishly. She hoped that Samantha wouldn't take it too hard. After all, she broke into her house this morning. She couldn't be too mad, right?

Samantha was shocked as she went to a dresser and pulled out some flannel pajamas. Red for her and purple for Stacy, "Here." they were oversized just like how she liked them. She have her the pair and just looked at her room.

Stacy quickly changed into her purple flannel pajamas. "Thank you." She began to walk away to the door. "Today was a pretty good day, wasn't it? Congrats on your fiancée, and congrats on the baby too."

Samantha got dressed herself, "Not a problem. Anything for my best friend. And thank you." she began to clean up her clothing, putting stuff back on hangers and then putting them on the racks, "Have a great sleep." she wouldn't go to bed until this mess was cleaned up

*** Last night's sleep was a comfortable one, upon the luxurious bed of the master bedroom. Was this how Samantha always slept, so rejuvenated each morning? Stacy began to think, she should be invited over more often. Soon after waking, the shower was where she went next. Then after washing up, she checked the bathroom cabinet for any makeup. She found some in there, and began to apply it to her face. As she did, she wondered, does Samantha even wear makeup? Does she have to with her face? And if so, what kind does the usually put on? She stepped out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel. A clock told her how much longer she had to stay. "I've got two hours before I go to work. Better get dressed while I can." Stacy made her way to Samantha's bedroom. She had left her clothing in there last night, and she had to retrieve it. Hopefully she hadn't woken up yet, or at least she was in the shower. Though seeing each other without clothes wasn't much of a big deal to them, it was still rather rude to break into someone's room with only a towel on. [Have we exhausted the towel gag at this point? Should I make her come into Samantha's room in pajamas instead?]

[nope cool ] Samantha woke up a little later than she normally did. Thanks to the mess created by Stacy, she had to spend an hour at least to clean it all up. She skipped a shower this morning since she had one last night. By this time, most of her hair was dry and the least bit damp. Samantha got dressed in a summery yellow dress with white polka dots on them. It came down to her knees, just the way she liked it. Going to the bathroom, she opened up her very small make up bag. A little blush and mascara later, she was ready to go. No eye shadow or lipstick for her, those were for special occasions. A phone ringing brought her attention back into her room before she could fiddle with her hair, "Hello?" "Hey sweetheart. How's my favorite girl? Did you enjoy your time out with your friend? And good morning." "Paul! Good morning! Yes I did enjoy myself, in fact she stayed the night. I bet she is still sleeping. How was your meeting?" "Meeting was good. Glad you enjoyed yourself. Sorry I couldn't be there with you, you know I would if I could." his voice and tone were sincere and loving "I know, its okay. You can meet her at the wedding. I love you." "I love you too. Listen, I have to go. Just wanted to see how you were doing and to say that I love you. Oh and one more thing. I'm off tonight and the next morning. I already know what I'm going to do. I'm spending it with you." "Honey, thats great!! I can't wait!" "Bye." "Bye!!" Samantha hung up the phone and shouted with glee. She leapt up, still shouting and ran to her door, intent on telling Stacy. She opened the door and plowed right into her, "Stacy! You won't believe it. Paul is coming here tonight! He has a night off!" She hugged her tightly, unaware she was in a towel

Stacy felt squeezed by Samantha's embrace. "It's good to hear that.", she said in a muffled voice, her face pressed against Sammy's. Once she had finally let go, Stacy began to speak. "I'm sorry I won't be able to meet him today. I've got a long work shift, and I have to leave in two hours... That being said, my suit is still at home. Do you think your driver can drop me by my place to pick it up? I can't go to work without it."

The five minutes had passed, and Stacy met with the driver outside the manor. Once she boarded the car, she directed the man to where her house was. After a little bit, the car returned to Samantha's place, and Stacy returned in a gray suit. The two of them spent the rest of the two hours fooling around, as well as having breakfast, before Stacy had to work. "Be seeing you, Sammy!", she said as she was driven off once more.

"Bye!" Samantha called out. She returned to her bathroom to finish getting ready for work. She used the blow dryer and brushed it, letting it stay that naturally wavy. She dressed in a blue business suit for females, grabbed her purse and headed off to work. She was driven to an office building that stood out. It was 40 floors high. Her father's company. She entered the building and got greeted right away with smiles and handshakes. She rode the elevator up to the highest floor, where her father works. Disembarking the elevator, Samantha was buzzed in right away, right into his office, "Good morning Father."

A giant, gray tower of concrete awaited Stacy as the car stopped. "Fancy Shmancy Insurance Company" read the sign above the door. This is where she worked, in this bleak blight of an office building. "Thanks for dropping me off!", she said to the driver. As she left the car, it began to disembark to Samantha's house again. Stacy took the elevator to her floor, and clocked in to work. Today was going to be another day like many others, working at her cubicle and typing away. Many of her coworkers despised Mondays because it meant the return of their work. Though Stacy didn't mind. She understood very well the importance of her job, and did so without much complaint. This little lady here was at the bottom of the corporate ladder, but she didn't care. Her peers were always obsessed with being the highest paid, highest ranked people they could. To be in Stacy's position would have been their worst nightmare. But who said you HAD to be the highest ranked business man ever? Some people just do this to afford groceries. As she typed away today's tasks for the insurance company, she overheard some people at the water cooler. Those were the Communist coworkers, preaching a hatred of employers to their choir. But she just kept typing away. She was glad that such a simple task could get her paid. This was her responsibility, and it wasn't as bad as one would think. She knew that once work was done, she could goof off before she has to be responsible again.

Samantha was still learning about the business, and her father still wanted her to know what to do and expect from this kind of job and life. It was mostly pushing papers, but she got some great advice. She also gave ideas when they came to her. Some were used, some were not. Just a typical day really. A cobb salad for lunch. She checked on a few people on the different floors. Working in a Stock Brokers building can be intimidating.

[I think it's interesting the occupations that these two have. Samantha works with stocks, and Stacy works with insurance. Neat, right?] There was not much more to say about Stacy's occupation. She sat in that chair all day, and typed at the computer. The most deviation she ever got from that was the lunch break, and the occasional trip to the water cooler. But then it was back to typing. Those customers who sent her messages had to hear from their insurance some time soon. [If you don't have any ideas of what to do for Samantha's work scene, I think we can just cut to what happens after work.] [As another note, when do you plan to introduce Mark?]

[good question. I don't know. I know it won't be during the planning. Or maybe it will. He could be hand delivering Samantha something cute and romantic.] At 6 o'clock Samantha clocked out of work and started the long drive home. She had so much to do before Paul came over. She had to choose the menu, pick out an outfit, pick a movie and a game to play. As soon as she got home, she showered, blew dry her hair and got dressed in some jeans and t shirt. [You can have Stephanie call her if you wanted.] Maddison was laying on her back on her bed, as bored as could be. Picking up her phone, she began to scroll through her contacts. One caught her eye and gave her an idea. She hit the picture and pressed the call button. When the person answered she had to talk quickly, "Hey Stacy, its Maddy! I just had a brilliant idea for Samantha, but we can't tell her. We have to throw her a bachelorette party, complete with strippers!"

[Maddison? I thought she was Madeline.] The phone rang from within Stacy's pocket. She picked it out in order to check the caller ID. It was Maddy, Paul Latimer's cousin whom Stacy had met yesterday. Now usually, Stacy would have had her phone silenced during work hours, but this morning had been rather busy for her. She had forgotten to do so. And while she considered not answering the call, she only had 30 minutes before she clocked out. Answering the call wouldn't hurt too much, right? Stacy pressed the green button to talk. In addition, she put the cell phone on speaker, since she usually had a hard time hearing people over the phone. Though it would have probably been in her best interest to not do so, as Maddy's voice exploded from the speakers. "Hey Stacy, it's Maddy! I just had a brilliant idea for Samantha, but we can't tell her. We have to throw her a bachelorette party, complete with strippers!" She reflexedly took the phone out of speaker. Any coworkers around her gave her a somewhat awkward glance. Maddy just HAD to shout "strippers" while Stacy was at the cubicle. "Heh heh! Wrong number." Once her coworkers had looked away from Stacy, she immediately crouched under the desk with her phone. "Hey, Maddy. I appreciate that you called an' all, but I'm kinda busy. I don't get off work until 7. Do you think I can call you back in 30 minutes?" All the while, Samantha's phone had rung too. The caller ID dictated that the call was from Stephanie Latimer.
