"Well, fancy seeing you here, I thought I lost you way back over on the border. Well, more like I left." Arkayid said to a grin. He turned to the older one who resembled Maikon. "I am Arkayid Shiro. My I ask yours?"

"As you wish, and I shall rebuild it. however this won't be the last time we speak. Next time i'll come to you, because I find it rather rude of me to call you here on short notice."
Tolly didn't seem preturbed by Alhana's stiff warning about bringing up the past.

"Good luck with that, Toleranth. If I don't want to be found, I won't be found. Now, anything else you wish to discuss, Lord Toleranth?"

"Me? I'm Tairon, Maikon's older brother. You must be Alhana and Auren's son, right? You have Mishizuri, and he's dead, so you must be a direct decendant, and those two were married, so...Aw damn, I'm rambling, aren't I?"

Arkayid blinked a few times... "You knew... my father?" He said quietly. "Well, yes, all that is true. And no, you are not rambling." Arkayid said neutrally. Mother had never said anything about him.

"FINALLY!" Vrinn shouted as the group walked through the gates to Domachi. "God, I'm never traveling that much again. It took far too long to get here." "If you didn't want to avoid Esperanza, we would have made it much sooner." Kail voiced, in a very annpoyed way. "But you know the mages guild there was alerted to my... ahem, activities, they would hate to see me anywhere near their territory." Vrinn attempted to explain quietly. "Well, we still have to find the others. I don't want to be alone here. Too busy." Nera added. "It's hard to be spotted in a large crowd, but Nera's right, we have to be careful." "Alright. Well, let's try and find them. It may be too dangerous to split up, so it may take a while. We should also check by an inn. We'll need a place to stay tonight."

"Yes, I did, if only for a short time, I was 17 at the time. He was a great man, and a great fighter. I've also heard the legends of mishizuri and its bloodline limit, so I simply assumed. Apparently I was right." He smiles a sad, yet respectful smile.

A hand grabbed Vrinn's shoulder from behind and he instantly felt the warmth of magic start to flow from his body. "Greetings, Vrinn Olair. Outcast and Fugitive from the Mage's Guild." "Oh [insert world's curse word expressing frustration at the current situation]." Vrinn cursed as he realized who the hand belonged to. It was no one he knew in particular, but he guessed it was a Mage Hunter sent to stop him. Nera let out a yelp jumped to the side in surprise, stumbling into someone and knocking them over, while falling over herself. "What in the hells do you think you're doing?" cried the middle-aged man who she fell on top of. Kain, however, dodged to the other side of Vrinn, avoiding the hand that was grabbing at him next. "Who are you?" he asked in a somewhat calm voice, ocnsidering the situation. "The name's Rilm Kaska. My trade is a Mage Hunter with the Mage's Guild. But you should already know that. Vrinn, it's time for you to give up and come with me. We'll give you a nice cell, one with lots of books. After all, you were in elect to be on the council. You deserve some respect." Oh, gods. This is bad. What can I do , what can I do? Oh! an idea suddenly came to him, with the last of his energy, he projected his thoughts around the area to someone he knew, preferrably someone in the group he was traveling with for a short time. Arkayid, Toki, Maikon, Mimi, anyone! The message he sent was: Someone, anyone, help! I'm losing my power, so I need to make this quick. I'm near the city gates, and under attack. Help... ...e...

Maikon got the message, but it was more a feeling to go to where he was.
Because Tairon was almost right next to her, he recieved the message as well. Because he was a bit more trained in that area, he realized it as a plea for help. "Come on Maikon. We need to go help someone out right now." Nodding to Arkayid, and giving a quick shallow bow to Toki, he starts quickly walking to the exit.
Maikon saiud, "Sorry Mimi, I guess my blade's needed right now." She smiled sweetly, then got up, running to catch up with her brother. The cute face gone, her look was one of a hardened warrior. She unconsciously re-established the full mental link with her brother, ready to help the familiar feeling. "Vrinn! That's who needs help!" She exclaimed all of a sudden.

Arkayid shrugged and followed them. It was wierd having two swords... after all, what to use... the Azure Blade of Death or good old fashioned regular cold steel? He would have to figure out what to use when he got there. Oh well.
"I have no idea why I'm following... but wait for me!" He hollared, chasing Maikon and Tairon.

Waiting for him, they were conversing mentally. Maikon was telling her brother about Vrinn, and Tairon was telling her about what kind of enemies they would be fighting.
Tairon asked Arkayid about Vrinn, "Do you know a Vrinn from your travels to the capital? Maikon remembers him, and she traveled with you for a while, so I was wondering." His hands were glowing, the magic already forming.
Maikon had her sword drawn, heat forming around it. "Well, if you two are ready, I'd like to cut through whoever's hurting someone I know."

Auren Shiro "Good luck with that, Toleranth. If I don't want to be found, I won't be found. Now, anything else you wish to discuss, Lord Toleranth?" Unless you have any questions for me, you've had fifteen years to ponder at least one thing you wanted to ask me. As to your your disappearing, go ahead, but i come looking no matter how long it takes to find you. Despite your hatred of the past, I would like to at least love to get to know the good side of you, before your wish of passing into oblivion comes true."

"Not really Toleranth...I've blocked out as much as I can from those days. Its... Better for me. And before I forget..." Alhana gestured with a claw. She then held that same claw out, and a small box materialized.
"I was finally able to find another pair. These are for you. I'm sure you'll recognize them once you see them." She said solemnly.
-----------------------------------------
"Yes, I know a Vrinn from my travels to here... Didn't talk much. Kept to myself for the most part except for the dragon and elf we were with. And the Druid. Can't remember her name... Whatever. I'm ready to go, just trying to figure out if Diamond Ownage is better then old-fashioned cold steel."

Vrinn struggled free of the man's grip and moved out of his reach. Drawing his weapon, which looked oddly like a spine, and preparing himself for combat, he instructed Kail and Nera on what to do: "Kail, use your magic to help take him down but avoid hitting civilians or us. Make sure he doesn't touch you or your magic will lost again."
Nera, use your powers to increase your melee combat skill, we're gonna flank him. Avoid using apocalyptic form unless he's beating us by a long shot. Use offensive magic only as necessary. Don't be surprised if we're forced to leave. He instructed his companions, using his unconscious telepathic link with his familiar to instruct Nera.
Right. Nera thought solemnly. I understand. Kail responded. "Alright, GO!" Vrinn shouted, as he charged toward the Mage Hunter.
