Aquos rubbed the back of his head and averted his eyes. This was awkward. He was just trying to be nice. "Seems like you two will be heading off soon, doesn't look like she can carry much more and neither can you...But I'll be around hopefully not too far away...So maybe if you'd like to get well...Something later or hang? I'll be free. I didn't come with anyone after all." He spoke quietly and gave Payne a small smile. "Oh...I'm Aquos." He looked pretty embarrassed. What was he doing beyond making a fool of himself?

Momo was meandering through the halls when he decided that he might need some fresh air. Plus, since the beach is often so inviting, maybe he could give these chocolates away. Something about them just didn't feel right. That, and eating after someone else was kind of gross.
HE had just set a foot upon the sands when a pae stopped him. A pae with a.... He paused to stare as she batted her eyes. A sack of flour? Make cookies? Good lord, what a suggestion...
Blushing furiously, he ducked his head and bit back a shy grin. "Well, I always have time for a pretty female. Or two." he added, noticing the other one. "Though I'm not much of a drinker. Or a chef. But I'll give it a whirl." He added the chef part just so theyd know he wasn't trying to take advantage of them. But he wasn't so sure about them taking advantage of him. Still, he had come here to vacation and what better way to vacation than to spend time on the beach with pretty girls and their...sack of flour?
He looked around for a way to stash the box of chocolates but upon finding nothing, he simply stuffed them in the side of his pants and held out his arms. Wasn't like they were any good anyway.... Tocino's head shot up again as he heard the list of events. "KIDNAPPING?" he all but shrieked. "What in the name of all that is holy is "nothing interesting" about kidnapping?! I thinking kidnapping is highly unusual!!"
Trying to reign in his fear, he hunkered a little lower and began to look around. "They took care of the problem, right?" Haku jumped, for once failing to notice any sound behind him. "Yes. Joe is fine." He paused to think of an appropriate way to apologize. After all, he would not have been prepared if it had not been for the large eagle fluttering above him.
"Er...I'm sorry...For...The way I have been treating you." he shook a hand through his hair nervously. "I was an...well for lack of a better word, I was an a**." he said.

For once, Lillibeth was speechless. It had been her intention to say something after he admitted the plant was fine. Just what smart comment she had was lost to the wind when he apologized. Even with a smart comment about donkeys was lost as she stared at the faun.
What, what did she say to that? Her behavior was beyond reproach but now he had her thinking since he was apologizing himself. "Uh.." Well that was elegant, what would her sisters say? "Its fine, a little sass adds charm, right?" She offered a smile, it was something at least.DaemonGabrielle I think Haku broke my harpy
Oh, he noticed her dress? The lacy bit was a far cry from her normal dress but so much more suited for the beach. 'I am glad you like it, I had hoped you would." She couldn't very well do a twirl for him with his arm around her, but she had no complaints."How are things back home?" There was, after all, a lot of catching up to do and a nice walk to the spa to start. There would be plenty of time during the vacation, so no reason not to start now.
If her sister was there she could finely introduce them.
Ever so pleased with her companion for the trip, Grendell was all smiles when she took the invitation. "But of course," She praised, always ladies first especially when that lady was her.
Above deck she paused to take in the pae running around here and there. None of them looked familiar but then again besides three or four she couldn't tell anyone who belonged in her village and who didn't. Really, it would have put a split-end in her plans if there was anyone. The particular anyone was no where to be seen but there were too many eyes even for her. "Maybe there is some secluded beach front?" A good bask in the sun would do her body great, added benefit of being farther from possibly prying eyes.

Haku shook his head. "No. You saved Joe. For that, I am forever in your debt." He bowed, carefully so as not to spill Joe into the dirt. "Had it not been your warnings, i would have been taken completely unaware. Should you ever need a...footed creature, I will be there. "
Glancing back up, he gave a final word.
"Thank you."evilsilverdragon he saved his son. Even if its a plant.

Sugar crystal was surprised. "You know I had never thought of it like that." She turned her head to look at her wings they did make an interesting story. Most Pae probably did not have such an interesting story about there wings. "Oh wow, so you live under the lake that must be so awesome. So you have fins when you are in the water right?" She looked at the Pippins feet to see if they were fins. When she realized that they were feet she was a little disappointed until she realized it would be hard to walk in fins on land. She looked back up at Pippin. "So your fins turn in to legs on land right?" Sugar crystal had always wondered if pae no naiad lived in the lake. It was something that made her imagination run wild. " I have always wondered what the world under the lake must be like. It muse be beautiful with everything swimming and all the fish."

It looks like everyone is settling in well. Glad to see it!
At this time, we can start to transition to the main party event! You're welcome to wrap up your current RP and transition, make a summary, or however you want to continue from this point. The auctions will continue on the side. Feel free to include them in your RP at any point. They're yours to play with now!

A few days have passed since the group made it to the island. There hasn't been a dull day what with so many things to do and so much provided entertainment, but nothing compares to the ever famous Venus Day celebration! All are welcome in any attire you brought with you. Just head on down to the Party Hall when you're ready.
Calling it a party hall is an understatement. As soon as you push open the ornate double doors it's like you've been transported to Dolandor itself. The room is expansive, starting you out in a long room that eventually opens up to accommodate for an equally large dance floor and stage. Down this long hallway is a series of above ground pools, shaped like hearts, that all connected so those of the aquatic nature have their own space to party and hang out (or anyone, really, if they're willing to get their outfit wet). Sitting within these pools are massive fountains, raining down sweet water to the pools below. The fountains providing the water are shaped like Venus, each one taking a different pose, but all equally as elegant and massive. The room has tall ceilings so you can imagine how big they have to be to fill up the space!
The marble exterior to these pools have benches with large pink pillows and flat surfaces for food and drink to be served on. This allows those in the water and on land to access the many delicacies the island has to provide. On the left and right hand side of this expansive hallway are tall marble pillars, with painted portraits of Venus in between each pillar as you walk the hall. There is only one that has another in the painting than Venus and that's one of her with her son Eros. All the others are beautifully pink and all Venus.
These pillars don't just rise up to the ceiling, instead they are holding up a balcony that wraps around the whole of the room. It's the perfect spot for those who like to be high above the rest. There are plenty of little alcoves up here with giant padded chairs with equally as large pink pillows. There are even cocktail tables up here with food and drink so you don't have to leave the comfort of this space for something to refresh you. A few of these alcoves even have doors to... more private spaces if one so needs it.
As you follow along side the pools and fountains, you'll notice similar doors on the sides of the room. Apparently someone was planning to accommodate a big party. Some of these doors appear more ornate than others, possibly made for some of the Erotes or Graces' use. Perhaps some will get lucky tonight and get to see the insides of them.
Finally you reach the end of the long hall to where it opens up to a larger room. A stage has been set up right smack dab in the middle with an impressive dance floor. Above it hangs a grand chandelier with pink crystals on it, giving a dazzling pink show across the room and dance floor when the lights are turned down low. There are many more sitting areas towards the walls of this space to allow for someone to rest, but still be within the action. Everything is done up in pink, everything.
An orchestra of Tikis are tonight's entertainment. Who knew Venus was so skilled as to train them to play fine instruments? We'd ask that you refrain from climbing on the stage to join them. We'd hate to distract them from their evening of serenading you.

After the run in with the faun, Lillibeth went back to her duties faithfully. They may be more or less self appointed but she took her loyalty seriously. The jungle got a once over from the air, a few berries nabbed this time but that was the most of her distraction. Well, up until the day of the party.
Oh yes, it wouldn't do for her to be anything less than her most primped. As hard as it was to top perfection, the spa did a great job trying. Perfumed, painted and pinned, Lillibeth entered the party hall in full flight. She was going slow as to give the area a sharp once over and refrain from mussing up her hair. The trained tikicats received a closer inspection as she flew well over head a full three rotations.
Mostly satisfied, the harpy took a closer look at everything laid out. Venus really..likes herself. The opulence was done to the top, she'd give her that. Odd that the only picture up was of the oldest none of the other deities were hung on the walls. Shrugging, Lillibeth finally made her way to perch on the balcony to observe the guests.

 The bird physically flinched, nearly falling off her comfortably-placed tree branch, at his (supposedly) unexpected screech. What in the Guardians' names WAS IT NOW? "Yes, a kidnapping." she about growled, a hand reaching up to pick the inside of her ear. It had been such a pleasant conversation before this too. "What about it? It was the damned cats that went and made a rukus out of things. Go complain to them if you want." She groaned as she removed her hand from her ear and moved to place both of them behind her neck.
Now in a thoroughly irritated mood, she glared at Tocino before he could continue on with anything else of this pointless conversation. At this point, she was barely tolerating the now-deemed nuisance.
So much for that friend.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Days passed uneventfully, albeit pleasantly, before Saira found herself in a party of sorts. Had there been one of these at the last one? Perhaps on the boat? She frankly couldn't quite remember that much. In any case, the scenery was different enough for her to be interested. After quickly swiping an entire tray of food and some sort of strange, bubbling liquid, she took to find a perch of her own up in the balconies.
The location she chose, a nice, large, fluffy couch of sorts, was very nice indeed. From here, she could watch all the pae coming and going into the hall.Quote: [ Balcony] Open for interaction

 If it wasn't for the skilled flyer she was - how had she become so when her mother couldn't fly and her sister wasn't apt to teach her, only the Guardians could know - it was likely that Hatil would have been tangled in the midstory-brush some time ago. Even she was having difficulty weaving in and out of all the vegetation. That said, it was still preferable to the way her friend had to move about on foot.
Walking was not one of her favorite things to do.
Valko was great at it though. She could trust him with anything.
"Its fun!" Was it fun? Who knew. Being with him was fun in itself though, even if dodging vines wasn't her favorite thing. "Your bag looks heavy; want me to take it?" Friends help friends out! What a nice day this was.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Some days later, many spent partaking in other schenannigans with her good friend, others spend partaking in inadvertently annoying her sister, before the time came for the annual dance.
Dance meant food - Hatil liked food. Separating from her sister upon entering the area, she moved to load up a plate with food and situate herself sitting next to one of the pools of water. Not in the water, mind you, just next to it.Quote: [ Pool Edge] Open for interaction

Baliel fluttered his eyes dramatically, though the action was probably lost on Nicky with her eyesight. "Thankfully though that's not the case. I wouldn't want to try competing against you in looks." He spoke with a chuckle before scanning the free massage beds.
"Hmm...It looks like they might have a free couples massage setup in the corner there. Lets give it a go?" With that he led the near-blind female over to where the two tables were in close proximity. A masseuse was standing by each table, and perked up when they noticed their approach. "Hey, can you squeeze us in for a couples massage?"The cherubs nodded quickly and with wide grins. They were the first to arrive for services, so they were fresh and ready to get to work. A happy venus after all, meant safe cherubs. They gestured down to the tables. "Okay Nicky, they're free! You can have this table here." He guided her a little ways further, then patted the bed so she'd see what he was talking about. "I'll be right next to you."Green...and salty? Well, she was green, and she did request a salty drink. She was about to comment on that when a very...strong...cherub walked by. My! What big muscles on such a small body? "Uh...uh yes, please. That sounds great." Was she staring? She didn't mean to. It wasn't in lust or the like - she didn't much feel emotions like that - but fascination. She hardly seen any pae that buff, much less a cherub!As her nephew looked around she kindly pointed out the direction to the huts to a pae who called out where to take a nap to no one in particular. He looked rather embarrassed that someone had heard him before scuttling off. And that was about it. All the pae were off the boat. "Well...hmmm...We could take a walk...or we could check out the pool. Which would you prefer?"She could almost see the wheels turning in his head after she was done talking. It was rather awkward, her standing there with heart in hand and him just...staring...at her. But then he stuck out his hand, and she happily accepted it. "Wellspring! I knew it started with a W!" She exclaimed proudly as she pulled her hand back after the shake.
But apparently he didn't share her enthusiasm. She blinked as he dismissed her offering, a little surprised. He still seemed mad at her. He didn't want to bury the hatchet? "Oh...okay. Maybe some other time." Aurelia spoke with a tinge of genuine disappointment. Maybe he just needed time to mule over things. She'd check back later. After all, the party did span a couple of days. So she offered a small smile and a slight wave with her free hand. "See ya."

Haku adjusted the black bowtie on joe and then himself. Tonight was huge. He would have normally left Joe in the room, but since the incident, he hadnt let Joe outta his sight.
Running a quick hand through his pompadour, out the door he went, plant in hand. Along the way, he stopped to grab a flower, a pink rose, for his new savior.
Tocino was more than a little freaked out thanks to the conversation with Saira. His white bowtie gleamed against his bacon skin. He hair...well he didnt have to worry about that. The full on pants and suspenders left just enough wiggle room for his tail. Yes. He was comfortable. Grabbing his jacket, he slid it on and slid out the door.
Walking into the ballroom, he quickly scanned for threats before retreating to the snack table. He prayed nobody would mistake him for food.

Pelagious was still feeling queasy. But, not one to let his suffering interfere with his courtship, he was currently dressed and attempting to put his blade into it's scabbard. Which was more difficult than it looked since his hands were shaking so bad that he kept missing the hole. Growling with frustration, he threw himself onto the bed and moped.
Why was he not dead yet? He had spent the night after getting the mystery potion puking. And feeling discomfort in light. She had watched as his body shook with fever. Yet he was still kicking.
What did she have to do kill him? Run his sword thru him? Wait a minute...
Pelagious was in misery. Between the Devil's plague and the lack of a certain blue adonis, this vacation had been a nightmare. Feeling the sword get taken from his hands, he rlaxed a moment before bolting upright. Just as the sword was jabbed at him. As luck would have it though, the rose rapier slid into it's scabbard with a swish and a thunk. Blinking a moment as the small purple cat let loose a voctory dance complete with screams of joy, he shook his head, a smile reaching his own lips. "Thank you, Pū. Without you, i'd be lost." With a sigh, he rose off the bed and shrugged on his jacket. "Silly kitty" he mumbled, before walking out the door.
HOW COULD SHE MISS??? What the hell was this pae made off? Luck and diety driven timing???Growling curse words, she literally shook with rage. It took everything she had not to physically attack this stupid blue moron. She had been trying to kill him for the last few weeks, slowly, forcefully, quietly, loudly. Planned attacks. Impromptu attacks. Every which way. And they all had failed. She would have pulled her fur out if she had enuff to bother with.
That was it. She was just gonna strangle him. Bare hands. Turning around, she prepared to strangle him but he was gone. SHE MISSED AGAIN! Screaming in fury, she raced out the door. He would die and he would do so tonight.

Momo had just walked out his door when a small cat raced by him, nearly knocking him down. "EXCUSE YOU!!" He yelled.
Adjusting his jacket again, he checked to make sure his chocolates were still stuffed in the back of his drawers before continuing down the hall.
To be perfectly honestly, he had considered leaving them in his room but the darn half eaten things and called to him. In fact, he jad woken up in the middle of the night few times just in tim to discover he had sleep walked over to wherever he had put the chocolates and only just managed to stop himself from eating one. To be honest, he was getting a little spooked by him. His plan tonight was to unload the confounded things onto some unsuspecting twit.
But first, he hoped to have a dance with that flour sack toting cutie.

 Eyes wide and heart open, the Wilwarin stepped into the banquet hall. Everything was beautiful. The pictures everywhere were of some modelesque figure and a male version as well. Eleadora assumed this must be her hostess and some relative. Though she had been enjoying the resort, a crippling social anxiety kept her from reaching out to the other vacationers. Even now a strong peptalk was running perpetually through her mind. She would be social. She would be gracious. She would NOT run screaming and hide in her room.

Amynta had already snuck into the ballroom early, just to get a good look around with her sister. They had a lovely afternoon chatting with Momo and gently sipping on some nice tropical drinks...So of COURSE they had to invite him to the ball great grandma was holding a few days later...Then again EVERYONE was going. This was great grandmas parties after all. They were always a blast if a bit chaotic. But was life without a bit of spice?
She had fixed her baby wrap to carry her flour child on her back. There. Now everyone could look at her lovely bosom. Who could resist her knockers bound up in a white dress so the eyes were drawn to her light blue skin? No one, that's who. She smiled as she spotted the man of the hour enter the party and gave Neli a light elbow. "He came~" She was almost singing. It was good to see that after a few days he had not forgot them.
She brushed one of her dreads out of her face before gliding over to the tall male. "Hey welcome to the party! Glad you came." Of course her eyes drifted to the...Odd shape in his pants? He had that at the bar as well...What. "Ummm...What's in your pants Momo?" She pointed and giggled. Maybe he did want to hear that.
