It was like some kind of cycle set on loop, and it was starting to irritate her... she had gathered quite a lot of power at this point, but she just couldn't figure out how to properly assault the Trumpeter and put an end to his rampage, even if she did have another of his incarnations fighting loyally on her side.

All of this peace and quiet was starting to drive her crazy, though. Admittedly, those early hours hadn't been fun, but all of this... it was too quiet. It was just WAY too quiet, and given the scale of the attack that demons had launched, she just couldn't bring herself to believe that it was mere coincidence. If there was a growing threat, she had to put a stop to it as soon as she could.
