Emily took in his idea to heart. That would be fantastic, doing something that she loved, "I love that idea. As long as I am not a marine biologist. No sharks." she chuckled as she kept eating. Once the plate was cleared she took it to the sink to start washing it, "I need to see my counselor so I Can change the classes I am in now to fit my career choice."

Cody looked at her when she spoke, he nodded as he was glad that she liked the idea, he hoped it would be successful for her since it seemed to give her a drive. When she finished he nodded, "Alright sounds good, I can give you a lift tomorrow if you want." He offered kindly to her.

Emily gave him a nod, "Sure I'd love that. And there is no risk of mud splashing on me." she giggled, "So did you want to do anything tonight? Watch a movie or something?" she asked hesitantly. She was reminded of the last time they hung out together, and it made her blush. As long as there wasn't any alcohol involved she should be fine

Cody looked at her when she spoke, he lightly laughed seeing that their was a blush and he could tell that when she said that, she was probably thinking about the last time so he smiled, "Don't worry, the movie will only have soda and popcorn... unless you get drunk from sugar and butter." He teased gently as he smiled, "Got any movie choices?" he asked curiously to her.

Emily nodded as she moved over to their movie collection. She didn't want anything romantic or scary. Jaws had made her leap on his lap and that wasn't going to happen again. Drunk or not if she saw something scary, she would do the exact same thing, jump right on him and hug him tight. Maybe a comedy? No drama or adventure, she had enough of that in real life. She picked up the movie, Grown Ups and showed him, "I pick this one."

Cody looked at the movie when she picked it, but he nodded, putting in the movie to let the menu load up as he left and got the popcorn and soda ready for the movie. He soon sat down and waited for her him join so that he could start the movie as he ate a piece of popcorn.

Emily quickly joined him on the couch, sitting next to him, since he had the popcorn in his lap. The movie started as she was very content to be here right now, just hanging out with him instead of some awful bar or nightclub. Good thing she didn't have any friends who like that stuff. She laughed at the funny bits and all of that

Cody looked at her as she laughed, she seemed rather cute when she did but he enjoyed spending time with her as they watched the movie. He laughed with her at most of the parts. He enjoyed the popcorn as the movie continued, happy to be enjoying a movie with a friend.

As the movie ended, she looked up at the clock as it read 10:23pm Then she suddenly remembered, "Oh crap, I have a paper due tomorrow. I've got most of it finished but it still needs an ending and proof reading." she groaned as she rested her head on his shoulder, "You think I could call in sick so I don't have to do it?" she joked

Cody looked at her when she spoke, but as he gently smiled, "No, I think that you should get on that paper even though I technically had distracted you for a it." He stated kindly to her.

"Fine, but I am going to need coffee. Get that for me, will you distraction?" she laughed as she got up and headed to her room, turning on her laptop. Clicking on the document she started to type more

Cody looked at her when she spoke but he nodded as he went to the kitchen and made her some coffee, making it how she has gotten it before. Carrying the cup up to her room he smiled, "One fresh coffee, just how you like it." he said kindly to her.

Emily took the coffee and chugged it. It was a little hot but she could handle it, "Thank you." she went back to work. This was just terrible.

Cody nodded to her, gently laughing when she chugged the coffee, "Well if you need a refill on coffee or anything." He offered kindly as he thought it would be nice to help out what we can.

"Thanks but I'm good now." she didn't take her eyes off the screen, but she did smile. She worked all through the night to get it done. By the time morning had come, she had finished it and sent it to her professor via email. She was so allowed to do that. She would be found sleeping at her desk
