Their family was very well off, leaving all three siblings with a sort of warped sense of "normal." Cinder himself tends to be a little classist, with little understanding for how people less wealthy than himself even function. The idea of not being able to afford something is preposterous. At the same time though, he doesn't really express much outward emotion.
