Merope was starting to lose the feeling in his talons. Wait -- he could never feel the tips of his talons anyway. Merope stopped and stared at his hands, flexing his fingers. Did he refer to his fingers sometimes as talons? If that was the case then he should be worried if he couldn't feel them. But if he pointed a talon at something, was he pointing his entire finger or just his claw at something? He figured that using his claw was more intimidating. ...what was he doing again? "Maybe multiplying more will make Magda-Maysy-Magsy-Mayda! Multitwins!" said the front end of the snowy fishimp. More accurately, it made a sound like it was suffering an especially pesky cough.
The two legs that were sticking out of it had been kicking joyfully back and forth, until they abruptly stopped and dropped to the ground, where they began to make a bit of a snow angle. Literally an angle, of approximately 108 degrees.

With a start, Merope realized exactly how much yellow snow he accumulated. If he wasn't undead, he probably would have rage quit right about now. As it was, he just... wasn't sure what he was going to do with it. Merope stopped to look at his accumulated horde again. He missed this; the scavenging, the gathering. Next would come the sorting. He felt a wave of nostalgia as he looked over his collection, a proud glow illuminating his scales. This was... nice. ...Then again, he still had the carrots to deal with. At least anyone else building a snowman will have a cache of things to gather from, specifically from what he didn't use. She'd been drawing an especially loopy set of scales on the fish face when Malik screeched, floundering as he attempted to find a way to put her back together. She looked down at her mermaid self, and her sister's fishimpself, and wondered if they should demand to be respected on tumblr cackled with delight. "That's not me." She told him, adamantly refusing to let Malik get lost in another misunderstanding. "At least, it's only sort of not me. Mostly not me. It's definitely someone else, who is not me, but that depends on who you ask." She reached out with her arms, and mimicked her sister's leg angle. "But one thing is absolutely for sure. That might not be me in that fish head." She leaned in, and whispered into the fishes ear. "Maysy, come meet my new friend! He is Malik and we write stories together and I am going to keep him!"

Merope flicked his tail thoughtfully. Hiding things wasn't new to him; back home he needed to hide things from his elders until he earned them. Sure, things were supposed to be structured but Leader's eyes weren't everywhere. But hiding things in a way that they were meant to be found excited him.
