After a quick check around the area, you and the Alicorn have made your move and gotten to the Kelpi. She's clearly in distress, and a check of her coat shows that she's almost completely dried out. You need to get her to the water, and fast! As the Alicorn helps the Kelpi out of her enclosure, you suggest a careful journey to the spring. However, the Kelpi shakes her head "No, too many of the two-leggers use that spring. There's a stream to the south, though it sounds like a bit of a walk."
Do you:
A: Go with the two mares to find the stream. You want to be sure the Kelpi is alright, and you can't bust out those Lapsangs alone!
B: Trust the Alicorn to take care of the Kelpi and tackle the Lapsangs alone. The longer you take waiting to spring the stallions, the more likely the humans are to discover the missing mares.
Answer: B

If you chose A: Between the three of you, you, the rabbit, and the Alicorn get the Kelpi to the stream; a quick swim, and she's ready and raring to go! Unfortunately, by the time you get back to the camp, it's clear something is amiss. The whole camp is crawling with humans; there's no way you can get NEAR the Lapsangs, let alone rescue them.

After sending off the two mares, you and the rabbit are left with the challenge of rescuing the two stallions. Another careful survey of the camp shows you that both the Lapsang stallions are under pretty heavy guard; it's clear that the humans thought the mares were no flight risk, but the stallions a real danger. Everything so far has been a cakewalk, but this is going to be a challenge. Walking right up to the captives is out of the questions, so how are you going to proceed?
Do you:
A: Sneak around the back! Stealth has been working well for you so far, and they seem to be watching the front of everything anyway.
B: One word: DISTRACTION
Answer: B

If you chose A: Sneaking is a lot easier when there are fewer people to avoid! You manage to get past a few of the humans, but as you creep around the corner of a teepee, you find yourself nose-to-toe with a guard. So much for the stealth approach...

You and the rabbit both come to the same conclusion; you need to divide and conquer. Moments later, the rabbit is scampering around the Blue Lapsang's enclosure, tossing things at the guards, chittering, dancing up to and past the well-tethered Lapsang, darting around the tents, and generally being a massive pain. Before long, he's being chased by every human in the area, and Blue Lapsang is staring after him in blank disbelief. This is your chance!
Do you:
A: Be cautious in your approach; you don't know Blue, he doesn't know you, and you'd better set the record straight before you do ANYTHING.
B: MOVE IT! Get that Lapsang free and untied right away; there will be time for explanations and introductions later. After all, you have no idea how long the rabbit will hold the guards' interest!
Answer: A

If you chose B: The second you're in range, Blue is all over you. He doesn't know you, he didn't see you with the rabbit, he has no idea what's going on....he just knows that the rabbit lead away all his captors and there's only one stranger and some ropes between him and freedom. So this is pain...

Before getting range of his horn or his hooves, you fill Blue Lapsang in on what's happening. He's understandably wary, but ultimately decides to give you the benefit of the doubt. With your help, he makes quick works of the tethers holding him down, and the two of you make a break for it. With the rabbit still scampering about the camp causing a ruckus, now is your best chance to get to Pink Lapsang!
Blue Lapsang might have been calm, but he is no shrinking violet. He is quick to advocate one strategy: CHARGE!

Do you:
A: Disagree. You might have been lucky so far, but there are still a LOT of humans hanging around by Pink Lapsang. You and Blue are only two Soquili, the last thing you need is to get caught now!
B: Agree! You have a Lapsang stallion on your side, and you're no pushover yourself. With the rabbit keeping half the camp in chaos and the two mares safely out of harm's way, you might as well take the opportunity to fight!
Answer: B

If you chose A: Your reasoning is sound, but you don't exactly have a backup plan, do you? While you delay, the humans previously chasing the rabbit decide to call it quits; I guess it's your turn to run!

You and the Blue Lapsang are ready and raring to go! Like the prudent fellow you are, you let Blue lead the way...and he does not disappoint! He might have looked cool and meditative while confined, but it is clear he is no stranger to battle; the two-leggers are scattered like ninepins. While Blue keeps the two-leggers busy, you make a dash for Pink, who has the dubious honor of being penned AND tied up. Freeing him will be an undertaking, and he's not helping with his desire to join the 'battle.' Eventually, though, you get him out!
With Pink freed, you're four for four out of confinement. You feel proud and excited, and you're ready to go...but Pink doesn't think that's a good idea. He points out that you don't know what the humans were planning; can you really leave this camp as it is, knowing other Soquili might end up captured?

What do you do?
A: Pink Lapsang has a point; right now, you have the opportunity to raise hell with this camp, so you might as well take it!
B: Pink might have a point, but you didn't sign up for a mission of vengeance. Besides, who knows how many of the humans there actually ARE in the area? The last thing you need is to all end up captured yet again; you firmly tell Pink no way, you're leaving.

Answer: B. You and the Lapsangs hoof it out of the camp before the scattered guards have a chance to regroup. On your way, you meet up with the rabbit, who is winded from his decoy duty, but immensely proud. He gratefully accepts a ride as the four of you head out to meet up with the mares...then it's on to the Tea Festival, and glory!
Quote:
If you chose A: You and the Lapsangs tear into the camp, tossing teepees, ripping up posts, knocking over baskets, and generally wreaking havoc. Unfortunately, the two-leggers are less than impressed with your efforts. You look up from your destruction to find yourself on the business end of a bow and arrow.
