Rathen looked at Iri and shook his head as best he could manage with his hand wrapped around his throat.
"You used the Force to catch me... you didn't yourself... I mean what could I learn from someone like other then becomeing dependant of the Force to catch someone like me?"
Rathen sighed and looked at the hand wrapped around his throat.
"mind letting me go?"

Iri smiled. "Of course." He let go of the Force, and the young man dropped. "Dependant is not the right word, and if you use that terminology with me, what are the Jedi and Sith? I have made the Force my weapon, while they have become the Force. I am a warrior, looking for an aprentice... no, a new student of the Way."

Rathen started to brush himself off and glanced up at Iri.
"The way you say it, it sounds like your diffrent then the Jedi and Sith..."
He watched the reaction of Iri, he didn't trust this stranger yet and he wasn't planning on it anytime soon.
"besides how do you even know if I would want to become your studant."

His face dropped all emotion, and cold, dark eyes appeared. I am very different from the Jedi and Sith, I am a master in a new wave of Force-wielding warriors." He looked into the man's eyes. "I know you have potential, and I know you have questions of your ability in the Force. I will answer them, and I expect nothing in return, not even loyalty. I will tell you here and now, there are no sacred bonds in the Way, and in our cause, many have been betrayed. But it does not change the fact that we are immeasureably more powerful than the Jedi and Sith, and we have a whole planet of resources and fighters, and we have been preparing the Way for newcomers, waiting for true potential before we set forth any true.... academy. It is believable that the Way is virgin to your ears, for it is a devilishly new term."

Rathen raised his arms up into the air and shouted
"ALRIGHT WAVE OF THE FUTURE!"
Grinning he looked at Iri
"so just to be clear, after you teach me all about the ways of the force from your point of view, you pratically going to be expecting me to stab you in the back? hmm... I can work with that."

Iri was shocked at the man's yell, but smiled calmly. "And I will deal with you then, my aprentice." He pulled back his cloak, and his pale arm held out a holo-panel. "Follow the directions on this holo-vid, and I will meet you on the planet in three days..." He turned to walk away. "Oh, and the planet's name is Earth, don't tell it to anyone, and if asked about the Way... play ignorant."

Rathen looked at the Iri as he walked away.
"Wait, what way?"
Shrugging he turned and headed to his apartment. He needed to sell a few things, possibly even cash in on some arson.
'well, this ought to be fun, and at the very least I can make that guy's life a liveing hell"
Rathen smiled and headed off down the ally.

Iri left the planet in less than an hour, and by coincidence passed Darth Drakinis's ship. He smiled, Darth Madoon has sent his student away. "I wonder.." Said Iri to himself, and shot a probe from it's place on his starship to follow Drakinis. It cloaked itself, and attached itself out of sight in a crevice between two of the ship's engines.

After a bit of creative selling of all his worldly possesions Rathen finally had enough to afford a fairly comfortable ride to the planet earth. He had his legs up on a table while he snoozed lightly in a chair as the ship sped through space towards Earth. Not too many people were on this ship and the ones that were, were mostly just familys and children.
'humph no fun here it seems...'

(little time warp, hope you guys don't mind.)
It was the next morning. Drakinis's ship had just arrived during the night, and he had failed to find the sensor that had been planted on his ship, fortunately for Iri. Unfortunately for Iri, Rathen had arrived on Earth two day's before Iri planned to be, and might be able to cause a ruckus if the Way was unable to keep him in check. The two ships docked at entirely different stations. Drakinis at Mexico city, a motley place that was dusty and dry, about as dry as the desert world Tatooine. Rathen would be in the more tropical atmosphere of Oahu. the dock was small, the city was small in comparison to many, and it's boundaries were small. The information on Rathen's datapad stated instructions to find a way to a secure comm-link.
Meanwhile, Darth Madoon had been awake, sensing the approach of the Jedi Masters. He raised his hood, fearing he may have to face his pupil's consequences, but not so afraid to run. He had a welcoming crew of two Sith masters waiting at the Ship starport, both of them very nonchalant in their hate. All three of the Jedi masters were in their personal ships, less than a lightyear away, and pulling out of hyperspace.

Drakonis covered the lower part of his face with his sleeve. He didn't like the air here. It was different. It was dirty and stale. Quite a change it was from his home planet. The moon was bright out as he walked through the city. Only a few people were still wandering the streets beneath dim lights on the sides of the streets. Drakonis' eye scanned the area closely. He was lost and didn't even know where to begin his training.

A small man, maybe five feet tall, approached him with a case of fake jewelry in front of him, and spoke in a fluent tongue foreign to Drakonis. At first gently, but eventually he shoved the box toward him, and held out his hand.

Drakonis stared at the man shaking his head and shrugging his shoulders. Drakonis tried to show the man that he didn't understand and slowly started to walk away from him.

The small man yelled, and walked away. The street Drakonis now walked down, had hundreds of the same kind of people. Street vendors, and poor men. One spoke Galactic Basic, and spoke loudly. "Get yer lightsabers, mehn, lightsabers! genuine yedi weppons, I swear, mehn!"

Since Drakonis only understood the one man and had no idea what was going on, he decided to speak to him. " Excuse me, what part of earth is this? The people here speak a different language than what I assumed the Earthians spoke..."
