Kokoro bounds around excitedly as she searches for Eli. "HYUUU!" she calls out to him. The young gillian grins broadly beneath her mask and pounces him, forgetting that she is a lot stronger than he is. "Kyuu haa haroo?" She stands back up and looks around at the full sized hollows that they had followed through the garganta. Her attention is grabbed by the scents present. Sniffing the air she laughs with a malicious bloodlust in her eyes. Food. Lots of it. Souls fresh for devouring. Larger hollows to pick up on some tricks from. Tasty weaker hollows possibly present. Delicious reishi. All of this was so intoxicating. She claps her hands together and rubs them with an evil intent. Gesturing to Eli she strikes a dramatic pose pointing at the Seireitei and then makes striking motions with her claws. A wicked panting laugh escapes her and she scrambles to see if she can find something edible. With the adults around she does not feel the need to pretend to be innocuous or innocent. 'Working with a pack has its benefits it seems,' she thinks, 'Still, I refuse to trust these stronger ones quite yet. Just like that menos we ate before coming here, we would make a good meal for some of them.' She may not be capable of speech as most people know it, but it would be a mistake to believe that she was unintelligent. Scraps of souls get her attention and she sets about devouring them and searching for more edibles. Beast, plant, people - they're all equally of interest to her for satiating her never ending hunger. When Sasori questions whether there will be a plan or just plain violent acts she laughs with delight, causing her tentacles, fangs, and tendrils to flail out of her mouth. She howls with malicious intent, "HYUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRR!" She slorps her internal mouth parts back in and awaits the dominant ones to come to a decision with great relish. She is much a follower - for now. The anticipation is almost maddening. The deceptively small hollow grabs a stick and thrusts it up at the sky to indicate her desire to get this show on the road. Feed the hunger. Grow stronger. Feed on more delicious sources of food. She witnesses Eli attempting to imitate the blood eagle and she tilts her head. 'What was that about? Does it make feeding on them easier? Seems like too much effort for such a weak soul. Maybe it is just play?' She sees a soul hiding nearby and sets upon it, eviscerating it in an effort to force it into her tentacled maw. Blood sprays everywhere as she does this. The fangs at the ends of the tentacles and the barbs on the tendrils dig into it and allow it no escape and the screaming of the victim does not last very long. After messily devouring it, she lets out a victory cry. Yes, these adults have taught much. Though she has yet to develop any form of sophistication for this and may never do so. Still having soul scraps she makes a calling noise to Eli, inviting him in on the appetizer.
XXXThree answered her call, Jormungandr appeared to be otherwise preoccupied. Perhaps he had gotten lost? She did not know. Surely her own flesh and blood would not desert her. "Garmr!" She exclaimed upon seeing Sasori, recognizing that shaggy mane of silver fur. "Guarding the gate must have become so tedious. It is good to see you here." Red spittle stretched between her fangs as she talked, not quite finished with a previous meal. "Tis a raid! And this village is nearly decimated. I think it is time to move to the next." The wolf responds to the hound, answering his question that he left hanging in the air.
A hand falls upon Eli's brow, coated in violence and leaving a red smear across the smaller hollow's mask. "You are doing good child of Angerboda." The words are soft, almost caring, as she looks down at the weaker creature. "Save room for further blood-letting." Her clawed fingers patted a few times down on the hollows skull, gently so as not to crush its head. Having sated her hunger on something more palatable; Vanargand did not feel the need to consume the hollows around her.
The third that joined the cause was all but a beast. A berserker, perhaps. There was no room for decorum for that small creature that simply hungered. Though simplistic, it was an admirable method. Few could throw themselves so heartily into the slaughter. Perhaps she could teach them it wasn't just about killing, but causing despair. To rout your enemies so utterly and completely that they have nothing but to fall upon their swords. That was the purpose of a gruesome death, of the cries of war, and the howls of victory; It inspired fear in the enemy to come.
Through the inky view stepped the most terrifying beast the Soul Society had seen in some time. His heavy boot stepped onto the charred ground behind the destruction wrought from the one calling him โbrotherโ. His toothy grin flashed his amusement at the sight as he caught her dashing off to the next location. It was easy, too much so, as it would appear not a single Shinigami showed to defend the turf outside there own front door. Perhaps it was tea time? Maybe they were scared and hunkered down behind their silly wall.
It matter littler there reason for showing as as ball of red reishi formed and swirled in each of his hands. The beams firing from them as he thrust each arm to rather side of him and gave a light spin, allowing them to arc and burn the remaining buildings and wildlife. Ambrosio following suit of his dear โsisterโ beginning to head to a new location with her.
โPerhaps... some resistance would be amusing... if not burn it till we reach the Seireitei~!โ
Sasori cocks his head at being called Garmr, but just accepts it as a nickname from the newly met hollow. โI agree, let us see if we can find stronger prey.โ He leaps down from his rooftop perch and lands on one poor soul while piercing another through the chest with his tail. He looks at the weaker hollow who is scavenging, and grins. It could be interesting to see how strong the hollow could become from this, and if it could become more than just a scavenger. And if not, well, it could serve as emergency food. He watches the other hollow head to a new area of the Rukongai, and follows hungrily, thrilled by the tastes of battle he hasnโt been able to taste in quite a while.

Eli continues to scavenge what he can as he follows the stronger hollow. Suddenly another strong hollow appears and tosses Eli a pair of corpses. "Thank you" He calls out as he devours his free meal. It was not often in the young hollows experience that a stronger hollow tosses food to a weaker hollow. Eli knew it was possible that either of these wolf hollows could just be waiting till he got stronger to eat him. He listens as Sasori speaks to Vanargand as he eats what he was given. "Follow stronger hollows as long as I am permitted or strong enough to go on my own." He whispers grinning. Eli looks around as he hears his sister. So she has caught up wondered how long it would take her. He then squawks as she pounces none to gently on him "Koko!" He growls softly. "I have been feeding I do better a scavenging than hunting or trapping." He says just loud enough for Koko to hear him. He then watches his sister attack and devour another soul offering him some as she eats it. But instead of joining his sister in her snack he turns his attention to Vanargand as she starts to speak. He grins at her cautiously as she turns her attention to him and touches his brow. He is delighted to be told he was doing well even though he had no clue what a child of Angerboda was or even who Angerboda was. "Okay" He responds when told to save room. When Vanargand starts to leave the ruined village he calls out to his sister and follows. "Come on Koko." As he hurriedly followed the two wolf hollows he glances over his shoulder to see if his sister was coming and saw the arrival of another powerful hollow.
Light as a gentle summer breeze, Akagi Natsumi arrived on the scene a bit too late to intersect the majority of the pack, but one straggling behind... The Shinigami leaping over the small, adorable Hollow and levels the blade of her Zanpaku-Tou towards it. "Halt beast! How did you get into Rukongai? Where is your pact moving?" Her hand trembled feeling that her mark was slightly higher power than her... the older Shinigami steeling herself incase the beast made a move to attack her. It would her first real taste of combat outside her tours on Earth. 'Lets hope this one doesn't have some nasty tricks up its sleeves.'
XXXRin landed nearby, her captain's haori spreading out around her as she crouched to mitigate the shock. It was beginning to rain, thunder roaring across the sky as the fires continued to spread. This was a massacre. Everything around her was dead, there was nothing. No sparks of light in the river of fate. Save for two. One she recognized.
"Natsumi-neechan. Can you handle that one?" She asked, turning her head to look in the direction of the hollow. Its raw power was higher than the older Akagi's, but Natsumi was not weak nor was she foolish. Clever tactics could turn any battle. Rin turned her glassy gaze to the west. There was a great evil there, vast tendrils reaching out and caressing the shores. Grasping the land and ripping it asunder. At its center was naught but a void. "I need to go there." She spoke calmly, softly. There was not even a hint of a tremble as she spoke what could be her last words. There was no time for an embrace or a tearful farewell. Perhaps she wouldn't even perish.
Rin spoke to her hell-butterfly once more. "This is an emergency announcement. The rukongai is under attack. Send everyone." The command was given, as she released the satin wings of the sable butterfly. She ushered it towards the closest manor she knew had a host of shinigami currently residing in. The Sanada manor would get the message, hopefully they would contact more.

Vice Captain of the 2nd Division, arrives very quickly from the manor, not taking a moment of rest. It was a very urgent matter, knowing that the rest of her division can handle the manor, she is here aiding two members of the Akagi family. Whatever happened here, its a big flat out mess, what enemy is attacking them with a family crisis going on? She sighs as she would rub the back of her head trying to understand why a hollow spiritual pressure was here but then disappeared. Perhaps Captain Akagi is here to gather all Shinigami for where they need to go.
She would then be a few persons behind Rin as she would be floating next to Natsumi "Captain Akagi, Natsumi, i am here to assist with what you need. Though it looks like the enemy moved on, ******** cowards, them little shits." She wants to know what is going on, what the plan is and on top of it, why would hollows attack now? Its way too suspicious with the Sanada family under siege with her having no idea where Yuki is. She only continues to grow more frustrated with the length of time the Sanada are just missing, not showing up anywhere including here. Right now is not the time to get pissed but more of the apporiate time to focus what is at hand.

He stands there quietly as Captain Akagi speaks to someone whom he recognizes as another member of the Akagi clan, though he did not recognize them beyond that. From what Captain Akagi says, it appears that their family member should have this hollow here covered, and didnโt need their aid. He could feel the hollow power that Captain Akagi sensed as well. He listens to her send out a message via hell butterfly to the Shinigami at the Sanada Manor to join in the defense of the Rukongai. He then sees another Vice Captain show up, this one Sanada Kiku of the second division.

Ranmaru came running up to the others from the academy and skids to a halt a respectable distance from the captain of the seventh division. He had been so busy training that he was still unaware of anything happening between the Hi and the Sanada. "Hello Ma'am um I mean Captain Akagi." Ran blushes slightly at his mistake in addressing a superior officer "Hi Ranmaru fourth seat of twelfth division reporting as ordered. Hello Vice Captain Sanada I will help any way I can." Ran says remembering to greet the vice captain as well as captain He notices that their is another Akagi and an Ellerose present but is not sure how to address them at the moment. Even though he had been in the soul society for a year or more he still has a lot to learn. Ran greets the other two politely though so as not to seem rude to anyone who could be a higher officer. He then waits patiently for any orders from the captain who was present.
Kokoro was busy scavenging and did not notice that her companions had left her behind. Hearing the questioning of Natsumi causes her to bolt upright. "Ee?!" she squeaks. Before she has a chance to react to the question she sees more shinigami arrive. 'What are these souls? They have evil in their eyes,' she notes as she looks at the malicious intent. The small hollow's eyes widen from behind her mask. Now was not the time to get reckless and brave. No, this is no different than dealing with roving packs of hollows back home. "Hyuu reee rawr ..." she replies and then face palms. 'They don't speak like wild hollows and I can't use their words.' The kid tucks herself behind a half broken wall and peeps out at them. 'Best to fall back on my best method possible ... I hope it helps somewhat.' Climbing the wall and curiosity getting the better of her, she perches as she watches them timidly. "HYUUUUUUUUUUU! KYUUUUUUUUU! EEEE RAAAAIIIII!" she calls for her brother, hoping that he has nested himself into a hole or not gotten distracted and kept up with the others. 'I hope the others do not wind up eating him. Please stay alive, Eli.'"EE RAI!" She frowns from behind her mask and considers a few things. 'I wonder if I answer them if I can protect myself and Eli. I don't owe those others a single thing.' She starts gesturing and making growling guttural noises. Raising her small hand she points towards the west. And then bolts ahead. Hopefully if they follow there will be plenty of support. Or, they will simply over take her and kill her. She really has nothing to lose at this point. She knows better than to actually approach them. Pausing a brief second and gesturing again, she then flees as fast as she can. "EEEE RAAAAAIIIII!"

While waiting for any orders or a indication where the enemy is, a roar is felt, from the West Rukongai district area. The spiritual pressure behind the roar is very suffocating like, very potent. If the enemy is this strong, then there is no doubt there be a low chance of victory since she isn't captain level like Captain Akagi. "Captain Akagi, i am sorry but ill be heading to the West Rukongai to check out that spiritual pressure. Its likely the enemy that has been causing trouble outside the Seireitei. Its dangerous by the feel of that spiritual pressure but in case they get antsy and come looking, ill keep them company. Hopefully more Shinigami start showing up because if this is the power of our enemy, we better be prepared to repulse them out."
With that she departs from the North Rukongai heading towards the roaring in a quick pace, ready to engage the enemy, even by herself. As a assassin, dealing with enemies and executing them is their main duty unless given a specific order to not do so. Even though she knows she could possibly die, buying her Shinigami time to regroup and gather in force could very well save the Soul Society. She hopes that her comrades come in force, more of before then after but either way, the Soul Society will have a better chance of being safe. Loki comes running up the path to where the others are, medical bag in hand. "Anybody need a doctor yet?" He looks around at the carnage. Most of the residents had either fled the area or did not survive the hollow onslaught. "I would have rather it been the other way around concerning a raid. Hopefully we can get a chance to return the favor," he grumbles. As he looks around for familiar faces his eyes land on Ran. "Hey, Ran. Looks like the action shifted somewhere else before I could finish helping to get the Fourth prepared for casualties and distributing supplies. My captain had already left for the field. Pity. I wanted to see what her orders were. I hope El is alright. I am worried about her. Hax was on his way when he collapsed from some kind of illness. I keep telling him that he's not getting enough proteins. Granted I haven't gotten a chance to examine him. It could be just as easily the stress from the Sanada situation. I won't know until the lab results return. I left him with one of the doctors in the hospital for now. Tora called to say that she is going to head toward the Eastern Rukongai to see if they're attempting anything over there while we're distracted."

Ran had waited patiently for orders from the captain but had received none. So the lad had stayed in the Northern Rukongai working on cleaning up the mess with anyone else who had arrived. But so far not many had come. Also there did not seem to be any more Hollows in the north. Which was probably a good thing. Ran hums to himself as he works. Separating the rubble out into piles. One pile was for trash, while another was for wood, everything had its own respective pile if he could manage it. He even had a small pile of stuff that he wanted to take back to his office at headquarters. Though the number of dead that he found saddened him. Ever know and then he would mutter "I am sorry" as he found another who had died. Well those who left behind any remains anyway. Ran started thinking about some kind of robot or something that could help with clean up and rebuilding of the Rukongai. Maybe something like the mod souls. Though he might get into trouble for that. Many plots would pass through the lads head while he worked. "Oh hey Loki! yeah it moved to the Western Rukongai. A little close to home I guess." He says rolling a log over to the wood pile. Then turns to face Loki. He nods as the older man speaks and keeps working. "Not sure if anyone needs a healer but if I find someone I will bring them to you."
Loki nods and starts helping Ran. "I'll help you with this. The power being outputted there is high enough that I would probably pass out from the reiatsu pressure alone." He is nobody's fool. As he cleans a thought crosses his mind. "Ran, have you seen Benjiro? El sent my boy out to join the fight. It's his first real battle outside of training." He does not want to sound too worried, but he is concerned. The afterlife of Iceland has been pretty peaceful for a while now. And certainly there's a limit to the issues they deal with as a result. After all, the trolls and what not tend to keep to themselves for the most part these days. Their closest equivalent to hollows have not ventured as far as their island in the spirit world in a long time. But this place. This place is not at all like it. Civilized, sure, but a different society all together. Harsher. Colder at times. Dominated by men, and occasionally women, who felt the need to beat people with the chain of command. And yet, it was still civilized. It has structure. It is a warrior society. The neglect of the peasants is the one thing that troubles him. Nothing quite drives that home to him quite like seeing them on his trips to and from the Seireitei. "I hope that this ends soon. I hate not being strong enough yet to fight such a battle."
