Uru just had a small smile on his face for the most part. Well, he just didn't have his resting grumpy expression. His brows were soft and now down, his mouth was not tight and frowny. IT WAS AN IMPROVEMENT! But he did gave quick glances to those who bumped into him behind him because - rude!

Definitely gonna have to talk to Qui after all this...

The taller boil took small sips from his cup, eyes darting from his date to his friend as they spoke. His brows falling down when Damien spoke him making a circle of friends... because, he could totally do that. Just took some effort of actually talking to creeple. The bump made his drink slosh into his nose, making the demon hound sputtering. "Everyone has their specialties." He patted down his scruff. "Yours is finding weaknesses and reading someone. Doesn't mean you're not a good fighter." Uru patted the monster hard on the shoulder playfully.

The demon eyed 'Xiu' closely. So this was the one who taught the monster how to bake. He had definitely heard of her name before in passing while they lived together. So now he had a face to the name. She was beautiful and older than any one of them ... well, except Qui. "Just because Chocolate makes you sick doesn't mean you have to avoid those recipes." Rolling his eyes, he offered a brief nod toward Xiu in greeting as his name was given.

Pointedly, Uru turned to Damien with a slight tilt of his head. "What's the matter?"

"I want you to enjoy yourself too." This was a test for both if them. Under normal circumstances, a nirmal dating situation, could he and Zar even wor or were they doomed to always remain baring teeth at each other with only Barth keeping them together. It had been a worry for Caldee teying to figure out where everyone fit and he had been preparing himself to the idea that all his holes of being near both of them was never going to happen.

"I never like seeing you upset at me or anyone else."

The tail and mental nudging helped a great deal, and after a while if looking at his hooves, his eyes flickered down less and less and remained looking into Zar's eyes.

"I ... Just don't really wear dresses. Not - like this." He quickly moved on. "Skirts maybe."

His eyes flickered to Zar's face and then his outfit. A hand trailed diwn his shoulder to touch his chest. "You look... Really nice. Like - really slick. I like it when you dress up, but dressing down like this..." He set a finger trail about Zar's chest bf ore smiling up at him. "I don't get to see enough of this."

He glanced back down a moment before looking back up. "You're a good teacher. Do you like dancing a lot?"

Thankfully when Lass approached Meixiang had finished a cookie and wasn't left caught with a full mouth. She stopped for a second, only slightly caught off guard, giving the other ghoul a good glance. Spotting the matching flower she wore. The Jiang Shi smile. Grasping the edge of her skirt she gave a little curtsie in return.

"Greetings to you as well. You look quite dashing this evening." As she stood straight once more, Mei smoothed down the skirt of her dress a bit. A smile on her lips. "I'm Meixiang. But you can call me Mei." She couldn't help another quick look over of Lass. Looked like she lucked out pretty damn good this time around. Of course, appearances could be deceiving but she preferred to go into this blind date with an open mind.

Instead of waving back at Tanvir, Riyo simply shot the boil an acknowledging look. It wasn't much but... At least she wasn't trying to beat the s**t out of him for being under that table? She had grown a little since she first came to Amity, at least.

"What does it matter to y-" Regardless of how much she had advanced, more than likely the situation was about to culminate in a loud argument. At least, it would've if not for the little interruption.

The cat ghoul's brow raised as she heard a shrill voice from behind her, turning ever so slowly to face the source. Surely whoever was talking was not talking about her. Oh, but there he was. There was no question as he was pointing directly at her face with his frosting-covered finger.

On one hand, no one had ever demanded she be their. That, considering the circumstances, was quite flattering. On the other... Ew.

Riyo's face shifted from surprise to mild disgust as she looked over the scareling. "Okay. One. I'm too old for you. Two. I'm twice your height-" Since Li Shou only stood at a whopping 5 feet. "-And three. I'll punch you in your chocolate-covered face if you talk to me like that again." Kid or not, she'd punch him right in the throat.

"I got this Poke. You don't have to beat a child up for me." Her voice sounded annoyed as her attention shifted back to the dragon.

Li Shou looked inbetween Poke and Tanvir as they addressed his tactics. Well, he certainly hadn't been talking to them! "Butt out, wyrm breaths!" His affectionate nickname for his sisters. "Go roll in your filthy fools gold treasure or whatever you scaley western misfits do!" As his mother's half of the family came from a proud asian lung heritage, he held little respect for dragonkin of other kinds.

His attention switched back to Riyo rather quickly when she began to speak. How could she deny him?! Oh, the chocolate? Grumbling, the boil tried to (rather adorably) clean his face off by licking his hands and fingers, then wiping his cheeks. It... Kinda worked. "Yes, you're tall!" He ignored the part about age completely. "Exactly what I need in a wench!" He declared proudly. "But if you won't agree to it, I have no other choice than to use... THIS!"

His eyes widened and his mouth held a massive pout, ears turning back. Li Shou was using... The dreaded pouty kitty face. And what a powerful pout it was.

Hector had decided to give the trio some space. Not that he cared, the blonde ghoul was just his date for the evening and if she chose to ignore him for the rest of it, it was no skin off his nose. He was parched, though. Which was why he hopped on over to the refreshments table and had found his way towards the punch.

With so many other students hanging about, it was only because of how the sunflower looked so... out of place on this blonde boil that prompted Hector to remark, "Hey, you know who else has a sunflower? That ghoul over there." He gestured towards Ruth, who was still goggling doe-eyed at Brenley and Ingatius.

"Yo, Princess!" he hollered.

Mot beamed proudly, swaying happily side to side. He didn't even mind the barrage of questions. Didn't mind, but maybe got a little flustered. "Ah.. well, you see.." Where to begin? "I have not done field work yet. Just a lot of errands and things for the full timers. But still!" It was a step.

Mot scanned the crowds, beaming at the familiar faces dotting the less familiar masses. "So she is! I will call her out in a moment." He turned to face Hel, holding a hand out.

"I'd like a dance with you at some point, if that's okay?"

Thankfully by the time Astra had returned to the main dance hall she had calmed down enough that her loud wailing was just quiet little sobs, but with her red eyes and puffed out cheeks it was obvious the ghoul was upset.

Sniffling, she found a spout out of the way of everyone else, sitting in a chair with her knees drawn up and against her face. She hid her face in her dress and continue to weep quietly.

"T...there....there.." Jim was trying his best to soothe the fae, but with everything in here being purple he was shaking like a leaf. None the less he just sat next to the ghoul and rubbed her back as she continued to cry, keeping a lookout for the 'cause' of her grief.
