Zeffer dealt 4 DMG
In the increasing ********, and the wave of new opponents that had come scurrying out of the woodwork, Zeffer had become momentarily separated from his team as they fought to beat back the attackers. He had already taken some considerable damage, with chairs and crates being hurled this way and that. He took them on in small groups, and while it probably wasn't improving his health, his batons crackled with sinister energy as he laid down strike after strike, spinning his weapons masterfully as he dodged and wove his way through the crowd.
He'd been doing his best to attack only those who came at him. There were so many trolls in the room now, that in his frenzied state he was sure he'd bumped into a familiar face or two. He'd held Akko's back for a while before Errade's followers had managed to crowd in around them, and once again he'd lost sight of his immediate allies. It did not send him into the same panic as it had during the fight with the cube; this battle wasn't nearly as perilous, or as one-sided. Not in his opinion anyway, as he smashed his baton against the side of another hooded head.
Just as he became most distracted, a certain couple of greenbloods had come up behind him without warning, just as he was dispatching another of Errade's followers. As he went down, Zeffer reeled his arm back to strike the another, only to see stars as something heavy and blunt collided into his upper back. The blueblood roared, and spun around, intent on dishing out payback to whoever had dared to attack from behind.
His batons collided before he realized his error. The one on the right swatted against Rasali's shoulder, while the other connected with her side, blessedly sparing her from a blow to the head. It didn't take long for the blueblood to get an idea of what had happened, and he snarled as he moved to shove off an incoming follower, hoping to give Rasali a moment to recover. "WATCH YOURSELVES." He barked, trying to make eye contact with Kursha in warning. It was no time for petty revenge, and now he'd be keen on working it out later.

Health: 12 Eagle Eyes: 2 Agility Style B: 4
It panned out even better than Kursha had hoped.
He turned to watch. Of course he turned to watch. A quick shot into Rasali's former opponent laid him flat, and then he was free to sit and watch the sparks fly. And man did they fly. Rasali's chain crashed into Zeffer's back with a thud and a rattle. The blueblood was on her in a flash, batons striking her shoulder and her side. A sharp buzz. Then for a split second, Rasali was lit up terrifically, like an ornamental behemoth on 12th Perigree's Eve. Though the moment was brief, it was entirely satisfying.
Rasali plummeted to the ground, and Kursha eased back into the crowd, glancing once back over his shoulder. As he did, the blueblood caught his eye, expression fierce. There was no mistaking it: Zeffer knew his game. Thrilled, Kursha beamed back. That would keep him on his toes for a bit. War declaration successful.
As much as he would have liked to stay and gloat, there was no time. The battle pressed in around them and unless he gave it his undivided attention, he was liable to get into trouble. Also there was Rasali to consider. Kursha did not want to be hanging around when she came to.
Hurrying through the crowd, Kursha began his retreat. It did not take long for him to work his way back into the thick of things. Pretty soon he found himself pressed in from either side, and staring down a hooded female. He raised the rifle to his shoulder and smirked. See you later, b***h. He squeezed the trigger.
To his surprise, nothing happened. “s**t.” In his haste he had forgotten to reload. He fumbled with the bullet bag at his side. It was a mistake to take his eyes off his opponent. There was a crack and suddenly he was seeing stars. Kursha wobbled, vision faltering. The troll across from him held a plank of wood, with nails in it. Oh. Ouch.
Kursha does 0 damage.

ROUND 5110/360how 2 bossfite | wiggler versionAny questions regarding battle mechanics should be asked in the main guild thread. **RULE CHANGE: For this boss battle only, a child's lusus will be allowed to participate in the half hour rolls using a 1d4.**
Sweeps of training and preparation have made the orangeblood and those loyal to her formidable opponents. Despite the Initiative's best efforts, they clearly were not planning on going down without a bitter fight to the end. While Errade's supporters numbers were beginning to dwindle, so were Byakko's own. There were wounded clutching at their injuries everywhere you looked; alarming causalities on either side. Errade paid no heed to the incapacitated, roughly pushing past her own bleeding forces in order to attack the recruits directly herself. "Bring it, you ******** worms!"
SUPPORTERS HP: 0/100 The attack on Errade continues!
If you rolled a 1, Errade runs at you, swinging her axe in a sweeping arc, and her aim is sure and true. You take a hit at 4 damage. If you rolled a 2, rather than swiping at you traditionally, Errade pulls back and swings with the blunt side of her axe. It stings, but at least you won't get any cuts this time. Take 3 damage. If you rolled a 3, you trip on an uneven area of the floor and stumble into a hooded troll. A nearby defector takes the opportunity to hit you while you're down, kicking you for 2 damage. If you rolled a 4, a grenade comes whistling straight at you, smacking into your side before you can fully react, but it thankfully looks like it's a dud. Take a mere 1 damage, lucky you... If you rolled a 5, a flash bomb goes off nearby, but you're able to avert your eyes in time to avoid being incapacitated by the bright light and duck for cover. Take no damage. If you rolled a 6, Errade comes at you menacingly, but you're able to turn the weight of her weapon against her, causing her to jab the handle into herself with her own sheer force. Deal +4 damage.

HP: 13/20
Time slowed and sped with complete disregard for Rasali’s ability to keep up. Watching the chain fall took forever, but the results were over in less than a second. Rasali was knocked left and right before hitting the ground. She couldn’t even brace herself as her muscles spasmed. She watched helplessly as her chain clattered against the stone floor.
”Hhh! Hhh! Hhh!” Rasali gasped for air. She was all-too aware of the pain in her torso and the peril she was in, lying helpless in the center of a battlefield. She wished she’d been knocked unconscious.
However, that wouldn’t have accomplished any of what Rasali had set out to do at this goddamn Phoenix Initiative gathering in the first place—the opposite, really. Rasali willed herself into clawing at the ground with her uninjured arm, eventually pushing herself into an unsteady sitting position. Her hair splayed out around her, tangled and clinging with sweat, blood, and cave dust. Rasali felt like vomiting.
One foot, then the other. Nothing else mattered at that moment. A flash bomb went off nearby as she was wincing in pain. She didn’t even notice. She came to fight for the Initiative—to prove herself. That was what she was going to ******** do.
Rasali stood. Her right arm hung loosely holding her chain; her left swung limply at her side. She couldn’t blame Zeffer. It was an honest mistake. With how wild this fight had been, the only surprise was that she hadn’t gotten involved in friendly fire earlier.
That didn’t mean she couldn’t be pissed about it. Rasali used her good arm to punch the next troll that ran past her.
Rasali does 2 damage.

Zeffer dealt 6 DMG
With all the bodies strewn about, it was no surprise that the crowd of those still whole enough to fight had thinned considerably. If the adrenaline had not been pounding through his veins, Zeffer might have been wracked with nausea at the sight of so many allies (and ex-allies) littered about, dead or dying, but he couldn't allow himself to become distracted. Errade had used them as a shield, but they had slowly chipped away at it until her followers were no longer a worry.
As she darted about, Zeffer took the opportunity to sneak up from behind and plant a firm swat to the middle of her back, relishing in the BZZTHWACK that resulted before narrowly dodging as she whipped her axe around. By the time Zeffer had backpedaled enough to get out of range, however, she was lobbing another one of her explosives. Thinking quickly, Zeffer averted his eyes, managing just barely to take cover behind the remnants of a destroyed table in order to avoid the majority of the blast.
