Evan finally managed to make it through the temple and into what appeared to be the mother lode. Sparkly items adorned the walls, but Evan didn't have time to admire them. The walls were closing in on him, and not getting crushed took precedence over shiny things.

Evan had hoped to be far beyond Lex by the time the monster had finished mauling him, but was surprised by how quickly Lex killed it. Maybe he wasn't such a pansyass after all.
