Lysander waited until they'd left the majority of the homes, and for Heather to calm down a bit more, before he finally stopped. With two pairs of curious eyes watching him he unclipped his two pokeballs, expanded them, and then tossed them both out to release his two pokemon. Lysander exhaled as he hunkered down to get down to the level of his Shinx and Froakie, pushing back the former when he clumsily and excitedly scrambled to him. "Calm down, will ya?" he scolded Amp with a frown, the Shinx only responding with a mewl before he toddled over to Heather, a human he'd quickly come to realize was a source for unrelenting affection.
The male huffed and shook his head before he turned to look at his newest pokemon, his 'starter'. The amphibian-esque pokemon stared back at him with a wide, unabashed, stare, taking in the man before him, before finally he emitted a single croak and looked away, his attention turning to Heather. She certainly exuded a rather.. active energy and, while not drawn into it, Froakie did find more interest than her than his supposed trainer, something said person didn't fail to notice. Lysander frowned before his expression relaxed and he simply straightened back up to his full height, crouching like that got painful after a while. "Hey there," he greeted, catching Froakie's attention once more. "Guess introductions are in order. I'm Lysander, your new trainer," he explained, though stopped when he noticed the look on the frog's face, a clear 'so what?'. Well, huh... he certainly hadn't expected... an attitude from his starter.

Once Flora and her two pokemon were finished eating, the young silver haired female started to pack up and make her way towards the direction of the pokemon center. The thought that their new friend they had made wouldn't get the healthcare she needed before leaving down really bothered her. Flora would never want to neglect a pokemon. Despite the fact that the tiny little scatterbug had been caught because Blaze knocked it out after it tried to take his food.
Pushing the bike in the direction of the center that she could now see further down the road, Blaze was perched in the basket in the front of the bike and Sapphire was walking silently next to her trainer as they went on down the street. It wasn't but a few minutes before Flora slowed to a stop in front of the pokemon center doors. Propping her bike against the bike rack in front of the building, she then picked up Blaze who was happily cooing at the attention he was receiving from his new trainer. The three of them headed into the center before Flora pretty much froze. There were a few strange men wandering around inside. She couldn't tell if they were trainers or just there with their family for a hot meal or something like that.
Walking slowly up to the front desk, the young lady smiled timidly when a nurse joy came over and started to ask her if she needed anything. Nodding timidly she talked to the older woman before she sat Blaze on the counter and then reached down to pick up Sapphire and sat her on it as well. Asking to have her pokemon checked out real quick. The nurse's audino came walking over pushing a cart before helping Blaze and Sapphire onto it as well as the lone scatterbug pokeball that she had placed in the pokeball holder. Hearing that it would be about a fifteen minute wait, Flora nodded before deciding to go huddle up in a corner near the front of the center to try and keep from collecting attention from any guys in the building. If a girl talked to her it wouldn't be so bad, but if a guy did she would freeze up and become fearful. It was natural for her to do this just in case it happened.

Doing his best not to get into a glare-off with his own starter Lysander gestured roughly over to Amp, who, with a twitch of both ears, came running back to the male, tripping over his front paws in the process. "Shinx!" he cried out, clearly unfazed by his own clumsiness, and quickly got up to clear the last few inches. "This is one of your teammates, Amp," Lysander introduced, watching to see if the Froakie would be just as unimpressed by the cub as he'd been with him.
"Froak!" The Amphibian broke out into a wide grin before hopping over to Amp and extending a hand out to shake, nearly causing Lysander to fall over in the process; that was Tauros-s**t! Lysander managed to reel in his immediate response and with a bit of willpower forced a neutral expression as the two pokemon happily greeted each other; he needed to look on the bright side of things, at least he wouldn't have to worry about the two not getting along. Lysander exhaled slowly before he turned to look to his left, Heather having magically appeared by his side, and after a grimace-turned smile nudged his head out farther down the town, where the first route lay. "We should probably get going," he suggested. "We can let the pokemon get to know each other as we move."
Heather brightened, seeming to agree with this, then gave a gently squeeze to Cadenza before she set him down. "You go ahead and meet the new recruit, just make sure you don't lag behind~" She sent her partner off with a smile before she turned to look at her brother, her expression somehow managing to have morphed itself into a grin in those short seconds. "♫ We're on our way! ♬" she sang before she began to skip ahead. Lysander rolled his eyes playfully, fighting between amusement and embarrassment, but eventually followed after her, though only after he'd herded the other three pokemon ahead of him. It'd do them no good if one of the three managed to get lost.

Terrence didn't mean to make it seem like he was all that upset or anything, it was just he wasn't sure that he wanted to travel with this boy. Ok well maybe he did, but at the same time he didn't because what if he learned about his illness? He chewed the inside of his cheek, Ezra did seem to be a really nice guy. It was tempting, and it was obvious his pokemon, even Az who already seemed to dislike Ezra, was pushing him to go with him. Maybe having another person around would be better. He'd been thinking of the pros and cons of traveling with someone else. It would probably be easier to travel together, still... Terrence was still thinking about the possibilities when Ezra's voice rang out to him. He blinked and looked over as Ezra stated that he wouldn't mind if they traveled together. He then added that he wouldn't mind if they were going the same way since that wouldn't be an issue. Truth be told, Terrence had absolutely no idea where he would be heading towards anyways. He was just sort of traveling around so to be honest he didn't really care where he ended up. Well... ok that wasn't true Terrence didn't want to end up in a cell or a situation where he had to make an impossible choice. He wasn't all that great under pressure like that. It was like his mind went blank and his body just did whatever as it followed his instincts. It was sort of annoying.
Terrence rubbed his arm "I mean... if... if you don't mind that I don't have much of a destination at the moment... Ivy keeps telling me to challenge gyms so... I um will probably head towards the first one eventually" he murmured. It was kind of nice to actually have another human being as a companion, but Terrence would have to be extra careful about not giving away hints about his health. After all if Ezra knew the guy would probably tell him to leave because he was a burden. That was the one thing Terrence didn't want. No matter what happened, Terrence would act like everything was normal even if he had to endure a bit of pain. Hie eyes wandered towards his bag, he'd probably have to hide his medicine as well. He didn't want Ezra to accidentally find them or have them fall out. That would be terrible.
With that in mind, Terrence turned towards Ezra "I um... need to go to the pokemon center real quick to get ready, you uh... can wait here or do your own preparations if you want or come along" he said. He waited before giving a timid wave "If we split up we can just meet back here in a bit" he said softly, before making his way over towards the pokemon center. Whether Ezra came along or not Terrence made sure to switch out a few of his pokemon for the trip. Once that was done, he made sure he had all his necessary items before nodding. He then made his way back towards the spot they had met at and waited patiently for Ezra, Terrence just hoped the guy would come back.

Terrence waited a bit around, before noticing a special banner hanging up a bit by the pokemon center. After taking a closer look, Terrence was surprised to see that there was actually some sort of Easter event going around all the regions. Curious Terrence took a closer look at the event details. It seemed really fun, and to be honest Terrence sort of wanted to travel around the different regions anyways so this was a great chance to do just that. His mind lingered on Ezra though, he had promised to travel with him and was waiting for his return. The more he thought about it the more nervous he felt. It wasn't that he didn't want to travel with him, it was just that well did he want Ezra to carry him like he was a burden? Ezra didn't know about his condition and Terrence was afraid that if he ever found out about it he'd just toss him aside or pity him. Again that was the last thing he wanted to do, so he decided maybe it was better to travel on his own for now. With that thought in mind, he sent over a message apologizing for the sudden message and that he would be traveling one his own for a while. He made sure to make a point that it wasn't his fault just that Terrence didn't want to weigh him down. With that he took his leave.

Fumi let out a sigh of relief as soon as she left the building. She had finally gotten a Pokemon of her own and it somehow went without a hitch. Speaking of which, she thought that it was about time to meet her first travelling partner. She did leave the lab in a hurry to disturb the professor with her meeting her Pokemon after all. After finding a quiet, non-obstructive space, Fumi got her things prepared. While taking out the ball from her belt, she also took the time to take out her Pokedex. The girl had a vague understanding of how it functioned from when her brother had shown his, but that information would only stick if she put it to practice. Without further ado, Fumi threw the Pokeball into the air, releasing a ball of light. As the light faded, a bipedal creature with adorable features had revealed itself. Getting caught up in stares between her and the Chespin, the amber eyed girl had almost forgotten to introduce herself. Almost.
Fumi knelt down continuing to meet her Chespin's gaze as she started talking. "Um... Hello Chespin. I'm Fumi, your new trainer. It's nice to meet you." She pointed to herself when she said her and promptly bowed her head after her introduction. The Chespin tilted his head in confusion; why did she lower her head? Did she want to be patted on her head? He knew that he liked it whenever the professor did it to him back at the lab. Taking the opportunity, while her head was lowered, he did just exactly that, gently patted the top of her hat. Now it was the purple-haired girl's turn to be confused. It seemed that there would be some miscommunication to overcome in the future. As she raised her head after the pat, she caught a glimpse of the time on her Pokedex reminding her of something important. 'Ah! The dinner!' Her eyes widened slightly as she quickly rose from her kneeling position. "Um I know this is abrupt, but we must hurry. Sorry." Not wasting any more time, Fumi gently raised the grass type and held him in her arms. The Chespin didn't understand what was happening(and who could blame him with the lack of context), but he was enjoying the free ride nonetheless. "Hold on tight. Please." She figured that he would much rather stay out than back in his ball. And so she began her run to her house.

Fumi rushed all the way to her house. To no surprise, she saw her parents and a lack of her brother, both looking a little worried, waiting for her at the front porch. As she grew closer, she took notice of a purple candle-like being in her mother's arms and an brown owl on one of her father's shoulders, Pokemon that she'd never seen before. "Barely made it Fumi." A gruff voice spoke in a playful tone as his eyes watched her finally reach the porch with his arms crossed. "Apologies. I had lost track of time." The girl apologized in an exaggerated meekly manner, almost seeming sarcastic. The man, eyeing the Chespin, could only assume it had something to do with it. "Let's eat. The food should still be warm." To outsiders this interaction might seem cold and strange, but this family... well it was just their usual banter. And like usual, the dinner was short and sweet; well cooked food made with care and love eating at a fast pace with some small talk on the side. It was so fast pace that the little Chespin had trouble keeping up! "Oh! Before he left, he told us to give this to you!" A random chime coming from the mother made the grass type jump in surprise. He? She must have been referring to her dear brother. Her mother eagerly gave her a bag filled with a letter and items, some of which Fumi needed to familiarize herself with. No matter, she could read up on it during her travel.
After reading the short letter mentioning the items and a Hoothoot he had found during his travels while finishing the rest of her meal, she couldn't help but question yet be thankful for the things he had given her.. Putting the items he had given her into her bag, she was almost ready to leave. "Oh honey, your father and I wanted to you have this cutie of a Litwick too! Found him wandering around the house and wanted to have some fun, so why not with you?" Fumi raised a brow as she received yet another Pokemon. She didn't if she could handle three new Pokemon at once. Why was she so surprised though? It shouldn't be too surprising considering her 'my pace' kind of family. "Oh oh! And you should give them names!" The older woman exclaimed with a clap of her hands. Her father nodded in agreement. Fumi sighed, thinking that the time to kindly refuse had already passed. The girl didn't see much benefit in doing so, but after looking into eager eyes of her new Pokemon she couldn't see the harm in giving them names. It would be easier to identify them from their species if they respond to their names. "Um... How about Pins, Wick and Hoot. Is that alright with everyone?" The girl pointed each respective Pokemon in question with every name she called out. Okay, the names weren't exactly the pinnacle of creativity, but those names would get the job done in her opinion. Her Pokemon didn't seem to oppose the names given either, though her parents had an incredulous look on their faces. Well, they couldn't do anything about it now and just waved goodbye to their only daughter as she left for the next town with her team. It seemed like things went by pretty quickly and anticlimactically...

It was a really nice day out, Du had to admit that this was a good day for starting her pokemon journey and she was bound and determined to do things right. She decided to look around the shrubs in Vaniville to start off, it seemed rather logical for her to start off with and after a while she would move on to the next area. Her searching was rewarded by a rather tough looking Bunnelby that popped out to greet them.

Du looked down at Niamh and gave a confident nod of her head. "Okay Niamh, lets get started. Use your Fairy Wind against that Bunnelby!"
Niamh nodded in acknowledgement and bounded in front of her human and took an aggressive stance as she summoned a shimmering gale around her. The sparking winds blew over to the opponent Bunnelby and blasted it with some rather surprising fairy might.
Du pumped her fist back a bit, she knew that Niamh could do it, this was going to take some grinding to get up to fighting strength but this was a great start. "Great job, Niamh! That Bunnelby didn't stand a chance!"

Du continued to shuffle through the taller grass around Vaniville in her quest to cut her pokemon's teeth in battle. She was hoping that she didn't look like a totally incompetent trainer because of where she was and what she was doing. She doubted that many trainers hung around her for too long and probably moved forwarded to Aquacorde town the first chance that they got. Du could see why, but she was here to do things right, and she didn't want to risk having to run back and forth with her pokemon to healing places all the time because the pokemon that she was with were just under the skill level of her own pokemon. Slow and steady won the race, as they say, and Du would rather take her time with this while others charged around and made quick work of things. She would head to Aquacorde town later to be sure and spend some time raising her pokemon there but Vaniville seemed to be the place for her at the moment. And if all else failed she could always come to the professor if she needed anything or had questions to ask.

Along with her partner in crime, Du continued to shift through the thick, tall grass of the surrounding area in hopes of finding her one other pokemon to have Niamh face against. She assumed that after this one she could move onto the next pokemon in her party. It was kind of an exciting feeling to finally be on her own adventure and she was more than willing to take as long as she needed in order to do thing right. She was more than eager to take on her first gym badge, but she knew very well that Gym leaders where there to test your abilities and how far you've come as a pokemon trainer. Miss Valerie had made that apparent in all the matches that she was able to witness, so underestimating the gym leader even though she was the first would be a huge mistake. Du wasn't sure if she would be able to fully match the gym leader in strength of her pokemon but she would raise them until she thought that the time was right for her. If she failed then she would simply go back and raise her pokemon a little more and try again. Her brother might have been a prodigy but that didn't mean she had to break her back in order to be like him. She learned a long time ago that there was no way to match up with him, and even though she was hoping to outshine him in her own way she knew that he had something that she didn't right now: experience.

It seemed like their patience paid off as Du brushed aside the grass and found a little fletchling that looked like it was ready for a good fight. It gave an aggressive call before it came after Du and her pokemon.

Niamh jumped in front of Du and prepared an attack, she took a deep breath and conjured a sparkling gust of wind that barreled at the aggressive pokemon. The fairy wind made quick work of the little pokemon and Fletchling flopped over with a dizzy look in it's eyes.

Niamh pranced around Du happily as she knelt down and scratched her pokemon behind her ears. "That was great, Niamh, let's let some of our other friends some experience, alright? If we get you too strong your going to be a rebellious little fairy." Du giggled and nuzzled her pokemon before standing up and started to look once more for some wild pokemon.

Du walked around in the tall grass and continued her search for pokemon in her attempt to strengthen her team. There was nothing that she was looking for in particular just so long as it wasn't horrifically strong she didn't mind. Du started to map things out a little more clearly in her mind as she started to make her way around the quiet little village that she currently occupied. There was something so peaceful about this place - and nostalgic too! Maybe it was because of the Pokemon lab being here that gave it a strong sense of serene soothing and a feeling that you weren't too far from home. it was strange how a large building like that brought with it such a odd and wondrous familiarity to a place.
