Once that was finished, MD stored it away with the rest of the items. "Here." Uriah interrupted his thoughts, holding out a pokeball to him. "Her pokeball." His head jerking in the direction of the wandering Charmander.
"Ah, thank you very much." He remarked taking the ball and looking it over. Hopefully now that he’d retrieved her, the message would get passed along and she’d feel better about his status. Eventually, he’d find a better means of communication but for now, this would have to do. Attaching it to his belt, MD stepped over and picked up the wandering Charmander again to face him. "Hm…," He remarked a moment in thought, the Charmander giving him a curious look as her own head tilted in response. "I think… I’ll name you… Chromie." He grinned, earning just stares from the other two in his company. The Charmander just stared before wiggling and flailing her little arms out in a bit of a cheering gesture. Either she approved or just wanted down, but either way it seemed settled. Once more he set her down to wander, turning his attention back to a waiting Uriah and Jubilee.
"So where to now, boss?" The girl inquired, hands on her hips as her head tilted. The same question seemed to be on Uriah’s mind as well judging from his expression.

MD rubbed at his chin in thought. They’d done the one task they’d needed to do while here, retrieving the pokemon in question. "Hm…," It would probably be best to get moving, to be honest. It wasn’t safe to stick to one location for long; there was no telling what kind of intel Interpol had on him at the current time and he certainly didn’t want to give them a chance to catch up.
"I suppose we should get moving." He finally remarked, giving an absent wave of his hand. "I heard there was some commotion going on in Sinnoh… it might be worth looking into." His tone was serious and Uriah nodded in understanding. It was a matter of importance to find the true bastards behind what had happened, as quickly as possible. It was good to see at least someone was in agreement. Jubilee however had become distracted with a piece of paper that had smacked its way into Chromie’s face, blinding the poor lizard and sending her flailing. The disguised Zorua stared it down with such intensity before breaking into a grin, immediately skipping her way over to MD and shoving it into his view. "Could we go to this?! It looks amazing!" The man blinked a moment, staring blankly at the flyer advertising for the Renaissance Fair. "Huh." He quirked an eyebrow. A fair… that was something out of the ordinary. Uriah was already scowling though, smashing the flyer out of MD’s face.
"Hell no, what are you thinking? That’s no place to go." He snapped back, scowling a bit at Jubilee as she gave him a shocked look. MD’s eyebrows rose as he watched the young woman retaliate.
"Hey!" Jubilee snapped, snapping the back of her hand against the flyer. "I don’t know what you’re up too, but I’m supposed to be learning about magic!" She pointed to the sketch of what looked to be a wizard. "And there are wizards at this thing! Wizards are magic! I want to learn!" Jubilee, ever devoted to learning the craft. It was inspiring; MD felt bad that she’d come along to ask him to teach her the ways of a magician at such a precarious time in his life.
Uriah wasn’t buying it though. He didn’t quite get her fascination with parlor tricks and it showed in how he treated the situation. "Wizards aren’t real, idiot. Besides, it ain’t safe-""Well now, hold on. She might have a point here." Uriah snapped up, giving MD a look of disbelief. He was not going to side with Jubilee on this was he? There was no way he would put himself in that kind of danger. Or would he? Maybe he was calling the wrong person an idiot in this situation…
MD held up both his hands in surrender, giving the red-head a look that suggested he calm down. "A fair like that is bound to be crowded with people. They won’t be expecting that. Plus… it’d be a good way to gather information. You know… see what trainers have heard about lately." The man pointed out, head tilting in indication that his thought process ran further than what he’d said. Uriah stared hard clearly unnerved by the suggestion. Soon though, he seemed to understand and gave a curt nod as he folded his arms over his chest. "….Fine." Jubilee practically flung herself into the air in a cheer and MD busted into a grin of his own. It was hard to win Uriah over, but he understood the others cautiousness. But after all the weeks … maybe a nice trip like this would be worth it.
"Alright then! We’re going medieval everybody!" He remarked, snapping his fingers and leading the way to the train station, Jubilee gleefully skipping after him. Uriah looked down at Chromie, he was staring up in her own mixed confusion, rubbing at her snout. "…Yeah. Me too." Was his only response before he gently scooped the lizard up and followed after the others. He guessed they were going to the fair…

Otani pushed the doors of the lab open quite excitedly and hopped back down the stairs, Uyama bounding after her for a yard or two before unfurling his wings again and gliding after her. Just as she was reaching ground level again, the young Aerodactyl roughly attached himself to the girl's back again, making her lurch forward unexpectedly as she flailed her arms in a bit of panic. "Uwaa~" Luckily though, her mother, still standing where she was watching for her, caught her in time before she was even halfway near falling on the ground. Her "care package" landed on the ground though, the spilled contents not rolling to far from them, including the ball with her new companion, which popped open in a flash of light before fading and revealing the Bulbasaur.
The seeded reptilian Pokemon blinked a few times after the bright light dimmed down in her vision, shaking her head and looking around before she noticed two pairs of feet and turned her gaze up at the two humans.

-]The woman's heels clicked loudly on the lab's solid flooring as she headed for the exit, but once outside, the sound wasn't quite so noticeable. There was a relatively quiet din encompassing the town, some ambient noise, of course...but compared to inside the lab when she'd first entered, it was an absolute racket. Not that Callie minded, of course. She enjoyed seeing things lively, bustling. At the moment, however, the woman did not contribute to it. She simply walked back over to her motorcycle and rested her bottom against the soft, supple leather of the seat. The woman had withdrawn the pokedex that she had been given and flipped through it to see what information it currently held. It was impressive, well more so than the woman had expected, for it had datamined her person to detect the Porygon-Z that she possessed but hadn't let out of its ball. Still, the look of this pokedex was nearly as offensive as the raggedy lab coats she'd had to endure inside Oak Labs. Calliope pulled her cell phone out and dialed one of her section chiefs. "Sert," she said as soon as it was picked up, knowing that the man would recognize the harsh greeting, "Sent one of the nobodies down to Oak Labs in Pallet. I'll be leaving a package on top of my bike. Have them bring it down to the boys at the lab and see if they can't rework it a bit so it looks better. Oh, and make sure it has a data port and a satellite uplink as well, Sert. Call me back as soon as it's done." She hung up without letting the man even say a single word as per usual and then wrapped the pokedex up in a silk scarf that matched her blazer. It was left right on top of her bike for now.[-

-]Calliope left her motorcycle parked beside the pokemon laboratory, confident that it would be safe there unattended in such a small town. Sitting on the seat she had left the scarf-wrapped package, and the woman decided that she would take a walk around the town, sightseeing as it were, until her minions came to complete their task. She headed down the street at a leisurely pace, keeping her eyes open for the best vantage point for viewing the small town. It didn't take her long to find, and soon the woman in the suit and tall heels was climbing the grassy hill, seemingly unaffected by the potentially harrowing terrain. It seemed to have been some days since it had last rained here, so the ground was firm and not a hazard to her spiky heels in the slightest. As she crested the hill, the village came into view below her, and Calliope looked down upon the peaceful village in better spirits than she had been in lately. While this was no landmark in terms of fashion, it was certainly quaint in its own ways.[-

It was nice, being able to be out here with no distractions, no interruption, just enjoying the beautiful day. She was glad she had decided to take this sabbatical, glad she had taken Amane's advice and gotten out of the office for a bit. A low rumbling sound broke the woman out of her reverie as a truck pulled into town. She could see it from her place on the hill, making it's way ovre to the labs. "Finally, it took them long enough..." she said, musing to herself, "but at least they're here now." She watched as her employees stopped outside of Oak Labs and retrieved the package that had been left. And then she watched as they loaded her motorcycle onto the truck as well and drove off, her head slowly sinking into her hands. She should have made sure she had explained more clearly. The woman let out a sigh and descended the hill, heading for the train station. It had been her intention to take the train anyway, as that was the quickest way to this festival she'd read about, but still. Callie supposed it did prevent her from having to worry about storing her bike while she was gone. Her employees would know better than to let anything happen to the vehicle. With one last look back at the small town where her journey would start, Callie boarded the train to the fairgrounds.[-

Otani steadied herself with Uyama clinging to her shoulders once again as she took a step back from her mother. The woman chuckled at the prehistoric juvenile, rather fond of his antics, before she noticed the flash of light and turned her gaze down to the blue and green creature staring up at them. Otani followed suit almost exactly, except her hands flew up over her mouth as she let out an excited gasp and a squeal from behind her palms. "Mommy, she's too cute," came her quiet, muffled voice in a rather harsh whisper before she lowered herself into a squat and reached her arms out to the Bulbasaur.
Uyama pushed his tail against the ground as he readjusted his feet to rest on the girl's thighs to stand up a little, his neck craning out over Otani's shoulder to the new addition to sniff at her. The Bulbasaur gave an inquisitive "Bul?" as she hesitantly took a step to her, stopping to sniff at the girl's hands. "Hi~ I'm your new companion, Otani. May I call you Kumi?" Her mother remained quiet as she watched the exchange, smiling delightedly as the grass Pokemon seemed to nod before stepping forward into her daughter's arms.

Umbra was mapping out in her mind the best ways that she could get stronger the fastest try to keep ahead of her other two rivals. Granted her overall goal was to find a damned Jirachi so that she could change herself back to normal, but she wasn’t going to give up on being the champ either. It looked like she had some stiff competition on her hands as one of the other girls seemed to have a full party already while Umbra was still trying to piece together a team that would at least cover each other’s weaknesses in battle. That should give her a proper balance and an edge in the elite four as well as the other gym leaders. Umbra was pulled out of her thoughts when she heard the perky girl with a full team call out to both herself and the other girl who hadn’t said a word yet. She paused and turned to face her rival and placed a hand on her hip and tilted her head ever so slightly towards her. ”What is it?” Umbra asked, though she already had an idea of what was going to be asked. They were trainers, after all, and Umbra figured that this girl was going to want a pokemon battle to get a feel for her newest pokemon. That was fair enough, though she wasn’t overly confident that her Squirtle would be able to hold up very well against the bulbasaur considering the type disadvantage. But she would give it a shot anyway. If her Squirtle proved to be the quicker of the two then she might be able to get the upper hand in all of this. She took the pokeball off her belt in anticipation for what about to come next.

For whatever reason, Sylva hesitated. When she heard the call from one of the other girls asking for her and the other one who'd followed close by to 'hold up a second'. Why? She wasn't planning on sticking around here for long. According to the little research she did her first stop was Pewter City. A straight shot north past Viridian and the Viridian Forest.At least she'd get in some good training in the forest with her Charmander.. one pro to having a fire-type. Turning around, the red-head got a pretty good look at the red and white-haired girl this time. She was pretty to say the least, but... that confident grin, something about it mildly annoyed Sylva . Even still.. it seemed she wasn't going to escape these two anytime soon, might as well make friendly now... now that she'd stopped. "What's up?" Sylva finally spoke an audible tone, letting a gentle yet reserved smile fall across her lips.

tabAs natural sunlight rained down and the heat of the outdoors washed down on them, the off-color Bulbasaur squinted as he looked up, gazing into the sun and basking in the warmth, hugging his new trainer's head tightly as he got comfortable. Luca on the other hand seemed rather unconcerned with the environment outside, as if she barely even noticed the heat despite her heavy jacket, and stood straight without begin weighed down by the sword slung across her back. As the two girls stopped and turned to face her, Luca's grin slowly shrunk into a more digestible smile, subduing the initial excitement from getting her starter. "Why don't we all travel together," She proposed, raising her hand to the side. "We'll all be going in the same direction anyway, and it'd be a little awkward if we kept running past each other without a word whenever we were training, so we'd certainly benefit from staying in a group."

Umbra placed her wrist on her hip while her hand held the pokeball out from her body and she tilted her head slightly to the side while she raised her eyebrow in a rather questioning manner. Aren’t we supposed to be, like, rivals or something?” She genuinely inquired. ”I mean, I assume that our goals are all going to be taking on the elite four and becoming champion, right?” Umbra could have been wrong about the intentions of these girls. After all, not everyone wanted a pokemon to become a champion. Maybe one of them wanted to be a Coordinator or a ranger or something. The question may have caught her off guard, but she wasn’t opposed to the idea. After all, it was far easier and better to travel with company that would help pass the daily grind of what was going to be constantly looking for pokemon and battling till they got strong enough to take on their next gym. Umbra didn’t plan to go tip-toeing around and do her training half assed. ”Well, I suppose that traveling with someone else would be better than doing so by yourself, even if it is for a short while until we get our teams feet under us and we’re able to stand on our own…” Umbra seemed to be thinking more out loud than anything else as she said this, her lightly clenched hand brought to her chin in thought as she lowered her head ever so slightly. Umbra may have been a proud, cold person to those she didn’t know but she was nobody’s fool.

Travel together? Well that certainly was a concept Sylva hadn't thought of. While she'd intended to do this solo, it... would prove useful to have some sort of support. The girl with red and white hair looked strong enough on her own, she was carrying a freaking sword on her back, but like... did she even know how to use it? Carrying something and using it were two entirely different things. But whatever. Glancing over to the other girl, she replied first. Rivals? Well, yea. Maybe? "I don't really care about winning anything. I'm just in it for the traveling." That right there, wasn't an entire lie. Not so much traveling as it was escaping. Holding up the camera draped along her neck, the red-head held it to one of her eyes "I like taking pictures of all sorts of things, so I decided what better way to get good pictures then traveling?" With a chuckle the red-head lowered her camera.
The girl stated she didn't mind traveling with others. Sylva was for the most part in the same boat. They both seemed pretty chill... Not really Sylva's type of friend, but the red-head wasn't entirely looking for friends anyway. "I agree. Traveling with others would make this a bit more enjoyable." Nodding to confirm her choice, she felt Leirsa wiggling around in her arms. The Charmander was all for this idea as well. Holding up the lizard some she offered another smile. "Seems Leirsa agrees. I'm Sylva by the way."

tabLuca listened to the two girls as they gave their answers, the black and silver-haired girl seeming to mull over her options aloud. "Not really, I'm not particularly interested in fighting the Elite Four," She started, replying to Umbra's assumption on their goals. "There's a whole world out here for me to explore, and I'm just out here to experience as much of it as possible." Her gaze shifted to the other redhead, as she gave her own answer and lifted up her camera. The corners of her mouth widened subtly for just a moment, before she made a note in her head to ask about the girl's photography later. Fortunately though, it seemed the consensus between the two was that a traveling party would be a good idea, Sylva in particular introducing herself and stating her agreement consciously.
"Great! It's good to be traveling with the both of you." Luca extended each of her hands to either girl, though seeing as how Sylva's were full she simply settled for shaking the hands of her Charmander instead. "I'm Lucatiel, but most just call me Luca." Seeing his trainer perform a gesture of greeting, the Bublasaur on her head tried to mirror her himself. Izalith held out one of his short legs in Sylva's general direction, the arm that would've gone towards Umbra still dedicated to keeping himself attached to Lucatiel's head. "If you guys don't mind me asking, where're you all from? I ended up in the middle of Unova before starting my journey, so I'm a bit curious if anyone else traveled quite as far to get here."

Umbra was a little surprised at the pair of girl who more seemed to want to see the world rather than get strong and collect badges. So it seemed that she was the only one here who wanted to challenge the elite four and make the most of her pokemon teams. Umbra relaxed a little bit, and took Luca’s hand up in a firm shake. ”I’m Umbra, Umbra Lupei. I`ve lived in a lot of foster homes through my years so I`ve been in a lot of regions and cities before. I won’t say that I’ve been everywhere but…” Umbra trailed off and let Luca’s hand go, taking a step back and bring her hand to rest on her hip, this time it was a far more relaxed in its posture. ”I should warn the two of you though, I may slow the group down a little bit as I plan to raise my pokemon to the strongest I can before I take on the gyms.” Umbra wanted to make sure that she was top notch for the gyms so her movements might be seen as slow to those who were more interested in exploring and seeing the world. She felt that letting them know that was the right thing to do if they wanted to travel together, if they wanted to do things faster than it would at least allow them to have a choice if they still wanted to travel around with her or not.

Introductions aside, Sylva nodded her head towards Luca and Umbra. Though the question of where she was from was a strict topic, a lie would have to do. "I'm from Shinnoh, Hearthome to be exact." She replied with a grin. Looking over towards Umbra, the red-head thought upon her warning. Frankly, Sylva hadn't planned on traveling with anyone to begin with, but she knew she'd be taking things slow herself.. she didn't want to draw to much attention to herself, and risk being recognized. Even in this region, on the opposite side of the world, it just didn't seem smart to make herself "Popular" She didn't want that either. "I don't mind." Sylva replied. "Honestly. The slower we take it, the better. I can get in some really good pictures in diffrent places at different times if we do." About the only thing about Sylva that wasn't fake at this point was her love of photography. "In fact, why don't we get a picture right now? The three of us, right in front of Professor Oak's lab?" Sporting her smile, the red-head set down Leirsa on to the ground, moving towards her bag to find her tripod.
Meanwhile, after being set on the ground, the Charmander stuck to Sylva's side. That was when a shy almost inaudible voice called to her. 'H-hi' It muttered. Leirsa turned around to find the head of a Pokemon sticking halfway out of Sylva's shadow. [ 'I-i-im Tiffany' ] It introduced itself. Lerisa approached the head, leaning forward was, her tail up in the air. [ I'm Leirsa!" ] The Charmander replied. [ 'H-here... You can have this.' ] Tiffany offered, pushing forward a multicolored stone from the shadows. Lerisa was curious about the stone, having never seen one like it before. Tilting her head either side a few times, she decided to take Tiffany up on her offer. Touching the stone however, sent the Charmander into a slight panic. Shaking her hand which had taken a purplish colour, the Charmander wasn't sure what to do. Tiffany herself had vanished back into the shadow, leaving Leirsa to panic on her own. Wiggling in place she tried her best to get the colour to go away, but despite her efforts... it just grew and grew and grew until finally.... She was completely taken over. Now huddled on the ground, the Charmander looked down at herself, finding.. she didn't feel any different, but she certainly looked different.
