User Image"Yes, but we'll look silly walking up and down over and over..." Shi said happily. "... do you suppose we'll run into... what was his name? Hachiro? While we're in town? That could be awkward."

"My mother will most likely insist on one... and seeing as how Jiro is the only of my two brothers now available - not to mention he's mother's favorite - he may regretfully have to tag along." No doubt another gift could sway his mother's decision about Jiro as well, especially if it was suggested that Shi go alone. "That's good to know... I may not have to jump in and get wet trying to save you," Shi said cheekily. "I wouldn't want to get my -special- trousers wet, would I?" Of course, Shi was merely playing toward how Haka were usually so fussy over clothes. Thankfully, Shinku hadn't been too much so or when he knocked him down into the mud yesterday he might have been in more trouble.

"I can't help it, Shinku. I know I'm troublesome... I'm clumsy and stupid sometimes..." Feeling the hint of a kiss on Shi's jawline, he blushed furiously and instinctually his hand rose to where the Haka's lips had been just a moment before. "Thank you..." he whispered, returning to speechlessness.

User Image"What is so frightening of looking silly?" Shinku giddily replied eagerly beaming." I don't know, we are planning the wedding still but in same way I want you two to meet. Even if it a bit awkward."

Shinku face twisted slightly in distaste. Lovely a tag along Gehaka. "What is Jiro attitude? Just incase if he must come along?" Perhaps another gift, bribe and a suggestion would leave them free to spend time alone. "What..what if I invited you to my mothers manor? Would he insist on a chaperon then."

He giggled softly. "Special trousers?" His deft fingers rubbed the material between them. "Really?" The small giggle echoed again as Shizuka blushed red. "Is that all? Thank you?" The haka asked and leaned up to plant another kiss closer to Shizuka lips teasing him.

User Image"Who said I was frightened of looking silly? I rather enjoy it when the occasion arises," Shi said, so giddy that his nose wrinkled the way it had in his youth when he had a chance to frolick freely and hadn't the cares he had now. "I'd be more than pleased to meet him; I trust you. I know he's probably a wonderful person..."

"Jiro's... well he's..." Shi ruffled the back of his hair and thought a moment. How to describe Jiro nicely? "Well, he's got a great self-esteem. Um, he's definitely outgoing. Self-righteous..." Shi blushed deeply. "I'd love to meet your mother, Shinku. He would less than likely invite Jiro then, much to my relief. I mean... I don't mean to degrade my brother, but he's just... not to my - or most everyone else's- taste. I don't know how to tell you about him without making him sound completely evil..."

Stopping and putting his hands on his waist, Shi beamed super-hero-like. "Yes! These are my special trousers..." he sighed and said. "Well, the only ones I have. So they must be special. Mother doesn't see it fit to outfit her slaves with many clothes, so we're somewhat in charge of keeping what we have in tact." Then, at Shinku's reply, Shi looked taken back. "What should I say? I'm thankful, I was just expressing my apprecia-" and with that, Shi realized how close Shinku was. He could practically taste the Haka's breath. "I-I-I..."

Putting all his doubt aside, he leaned forward and wrapped his arms around Shinku, kissing him deeply. The kiss was so soft and warm that it nearly drove Shi mad. He never wanted it to end, but the moment he did, he was breathing heavily and blushing furiously. "I... um..." he didn't quite know what to say. "Shall we go try to find the apothecary then?" he gave a clumsy motion with his hand and nearly tripped over a rock.

User ImageThe nose wrinkle was adorable and he had to resist the urge to squeal and clap his hands. Shizuka must becoming more and more comfortable around him to show such a behavior that would of been banned. "He is quite a wonderful person. Gentle, sweet, and caring." Tall, muscular, mmmm bad thought.

Jiro was beginning to sound like the opposite of his cousin Kageki. Most likely, Jiro would set his teeth on edge, and he would end up attacking the Gehaka with his parasol. Shinku blushed. "Not meet my mother," he said not wanting to inflect Shi to that peculiar torture. "Just so we don't have a chaperon." Yes, he was trying to weasel Shi out from under his mother's nose.

His eyes darken at that piece of info. He would have to make sure Shizuka was equipped with a proper wardrobe once they where wed. "Your are not a slave. You are his son. What a " Shinku dropped a list of unmannerly profanities that stopped when the lips pressed against his. He relaxed and pressed back into the kiss, eyes closed at the blissful feeling.

"I..yes." He forced after they had finished. He wanted to kiss Shizuka some more.

User Image"I'm glad you're pleased with Hachiro," Shi said softly. "Actually, the strange thing is that Jiro is a Gehaka. It's puzzling. Oh... right... well, I'll be sure to express to mother that we'll be under close supervision constantly."

Shi blushed, "I'm sorry. I've just been treated like I was less than significant my entire life and it tends to wear on one... and yes, my mother can be all of the things that I'm sure you're thinking. He's so strange... maybe something happened in his past to make him hate Gehaka so. I've heard it on rumors that he was once one of the friendliest Haka known. Whatever happened... he's not now..."

Leading forward, Shi held Shinku by the hand a lead him out of the garden toward main street and the town. What they would find there, he didn't know. He looked back at Shinku every so often and a blissful smile lighted on his lips. He wanted to tell Shinku just how much he loved him, but his reserved nature held him back... for now.

"I'm pleased with you as well." It wasn't that puzzling. His brother was a gehaka and a free spirit. Kenchi was a Gehaka but looked beautiful and could be mistaken as a Haka if not for his wings. "Why is it puzzling? Not everything can be explained." Perhaps he could bribe Kenchi to write him a note. Father liked sweet things..

"Or said." Shinku muttered. He gave a snort at the mere thought of Shizuka mother being friendly once upon a time. Yeah, and his mother was a saint.

Shinku followed willingly, eyes flickering across the streets searching just to find themselves locked on Shizuka back. Or wings, arm, mouth, those lips..no no got to pay attention but he was so handsome, some sort of alabaster statue for him to admire.

User ImageShizuka looked as hard as he could up and down the lanes of shops, knowing that it would seem terribly needy for him to suddenly cling to Shinku as if he were the one with wings and would fly away. Then his eyes caught a shop with herbs hanging to dry outside of it. Turning to Shinku, he pointed and said "What do you think? Shall we take a look in there?"

There glimmered dimly in the back of the shop glass bottles that he was sure they could buy, even if the shop was that of a purfumer or food herbs trader. The pestle and morter as well, if the two were lucky. He took Shinku's hand and led him over.

User ImageShinku turned his head as Shizuka spoke, taking in the shop with the herb bunches hanging from the beams to dry. It seemed a good place to start and small bottles gleamed in the back. The store keep might even know where to find apothecary.

"Yes, lets start there." His hand gripped the others as he followed behind him. "Good eyes Shizuka. I didn't noticed this shop at first." He had been googling the Gehaka bicips. A rather nice area to look at.

User Image Shizuka smiled and turned to Shinku, "Do you want to purchase the bottle here or wait until we find this hidden apothecary? It might be easier to go ahead and get one thing done until we can manage the other..." he suggested. He noticed that Shinku had been looking at his biceps and nonchalantly flexed them to make them even more noticeable. As he did so, he turned back to the shopkeep and asked about the apothecary.

"Ah, thank you," Shi said turning back to Shinku. "He says there's an apothecary just down the alleyway between the next two shops. That's strange isn't it? Why would someone put a shop in an alleyway?" he mused, striding to look between the next two shops, his eyes glowing with the thought of adventure that awaited them. The alleyway looked a bit spooky, but it couldn't be too bad if it smelled so of incense as it did. "Are you coming?" he asked playfully, grinning at the Haka.

User Image"Mmm..what was that?" he questioned wrenching his focus from the dancing bicep to the others face. "Ahh yes, lets wait till we find the apothecary first," he said nodding his head and gave a small charming smile to the shop keep. "Lovely day isn't it?"

Green eyes blinked at the new, in an alleyway? What a strange place to place a shop..it sounded a little suspicious. He stepped closer to Shi, eyes flattening. "I..I don't know this is a little odd. " The alleyway smelt of incense, a perfumery had to be close by. "Don't you think it's odd to have a shop down here?" He asked but kept close to Shizuka willing to venture as long as the other accompanied him. "It's a bit spooky, almost as if someone waiting." He was getting a little paranoid.

User ImageShizuka smirked lightly as he caught Shinku in the act of watching his curves move. "Yes, it's very beautiful... not a cloud in the sky," he replied as Shinku caught up with him at the beginning of the alleyway. "Well, except that one that looks like a boat right there... maybe I've just had too much time around watercrafts?" he laughed.

Wrapping an arm around Shinku to comfort him a bit, Shi said comfortingly, "Oh, I'm sure looks can be deceiving. Though I myself have never been down here, if my mother can brave it I'm sure I can too..." His arm around Shinku protectively, he rubbed the Haka's opposite shoulder reassuringly. He suddenly got a vision of what it would be like having Shinku alone in a room full of candles and this same incense... smiling at him with those bright green eyes. He blushed terribly as he was pulled back into reality. "I, uh... yes, I do find it a bit odd to have an apothecary down here. Then again, perhaps it smells funny with all the herbs and such and Hanze tend to stay away from it because of that... but I'm sure it's nothing to be afraid of."

Leading the way closer and closer to the little stand, which smelled ever spicer as they neared it, Shi could see a huddled little form in the back, grinding away on some remedy or other. Now that was what he considered creepy. "Maybe someone is waiting..." Shi offered, his voice sounding a bit apprehensive as they neared the shop.

User ImageThe haka cuddled against the other for warmth, comfort and security, his green eyes flickering quickly around the alley. He took a deep breath calming himself and gave a little nod. "I guess so." he muttered suddenly determ to be as strong if not stronger then Shi mother.

Those bright green eyes flickered in confusion as Shizuka suddenly blushed, but his attention was pulled away from the firey redness at the spicy odd smell as they got closer. The Haka shook his head and boldly stepped towards the stand and rapped on the counter. "Sir." He called out not demanding but attention calling atleast. "We need to speak to you
."

User ImageShi was completely taken aback by Shinku's boldness. It was rather attractive, as was his view now that he was behind the Haka. He tried not to think about it and focus what was going on, but he couldn't help being normal and thinking about how attractive... Shinku's hind end... could be...

Shinku's sharp voice pierced his day-dream and Shi saw a crooked little old Gehaka whose wings were a bit whithered and shrunken come out from behind the counter. (God I hope this isn't god-moding, but what else can we do?) He looked from Shizuka to Shinku and then waited for either of them to speak. Not quite the bravest of heart, Shi stood frozen and just stared back. He felt as if the old Gehaka was probing his mind for something and it felt very wrong. He wanted to leave immediately. His voice was whispy and faded as he said slowly, "How may I help you?"

((It more like ncp basically a noncharcter personal not god moding sweety. Godmoding is making your character do impossible stuff or killing others. ))

Strange he could feel eyes on his backside, he squirmed slightly a little uncomfortable. What ohh perhaps Shizuka was checking out his backside.

Shinku took a polite approach. "You wouldn't have a pestle and mortar for sale? Also some little bottles for holding liquid?" He asked softly. The old one made him feel a bit odd, as if someone was probing his mind. "Please sir, I need these items for my second husbands health." At times like this it was best to be truthful. He felt a bit of pity for such a crooked beast.

User Image Shizuka squirmed worse than Shinku now, if possible, the shop itself and even worse, the shopkeeper was freaking him out. He whispered something to himself that sounded like "Can we hurry up and do this so we can go?"

The crooked little shopkeeper smirked up at the two of them, looking from one to the other and then went into the back of the shop. He returned quickly with a bowl-looking mortar and a stone pestle and set them on the counter on the front of the shop. He then looked up at Shinku expectantly and drawled, "Is there anything else you'd like to purchase today? Herbs? Seditives?" he was only teasing, but perhaps he had something else to offer the young couple...

Shizuka looked at Shinku, his eyes pleading softly that the two of them leave as soon as the items were purchased. He actually wondered himself how his mother, no matter how brave and proud he acted, could ever have attempted to brave the alleyway and the lone shop.
