Jak Bauer Shallotte Jak Bauer Shallotte Events/Misc.So, we've heard that you guys are considering potentially re-introducing [npc] interactions for the next event and events going forwards. There are some ex-mods i've seen/talked to, that may potentially be interested in applying to play some [npc] roles(some of them already having played certain roles in the past and are very knowledgeable about past events/characters) .. But have been unable to re-apply for mod positions in years, likely due to the past management. If any of these ex-mods/staff wish to apply for an [npc] role- would you consider them? Even if they aren't currently mods? And how might they be able to apply? I just thought I'd ask. Hi there, I am not quite sure what the plans are for the event, so can't be positive we will be going in that direction. But you and any other ex-mod/staff can go ahead and inbox me and I can collect the info for the future. Oh sorry, I know it isn't a certain thing. I just know that the last few ATS, some staff confirmed interest in doing [NPC] roleplay events again in the future. I know of at least one mod who'd like to reapply for [npc] roleplay positions if they can; but have been unable to get applications through ever since Gary's team entered the picture(they voluntarily left modding for a break before Gary showed up). Thanks! I'll be sure to let them know(They are unable to attend ATS). And i'm sure this information is useful for some other ex-mods who are thinking of applying for the same thing. Well if any ex-mods wish to come back to Modding just let me know and I'll get you the info on what to do. Since you have already been Moderators you would not need to go through the usual application process. Lanzer The Halloween event is well under way, but I'm hoping that the Christmas event or other events in the future can have more NPC interactions. Having Gaians be a part of the narrative definitely is part of where we want to be, we still need to figure out the process of application and selection, and we will work on a system to handle that. I've a simple form to collect Gaian's opinions about their favorite NPC's, will share the tool with everyone later this week.

If not, could I ask for a rough time estimate of when it should be resolved? Also, on the topic of events, will there be a zOMG Halloween event this year or not? Sorry let me put up a page for handling the recovery. I had a recovery script but the issue is that I might have missed refund on a few users. The usual Halloween elements will return in zOMG. Lanzer xxXPure-InnocenceXxx EventsIs there a chance that an event akin to the Gaia Ball can come back? I feel as though an event like that would spark up a sense or community and interaction that there hasn't been on Gaia in a long time. It could even be an opportunity to promote new items centered around the event, which would be profitable. I always felt that we should have the tools for Gaians to host their own balls too. I'll keep that in mind as we plan on future events.

It's getting pretty late into the month, so I was just curious. This year's event will be more of a stand alone event, with trick or treating at the shops and zOMG's halloween component making a return.

Stage 4 is supposed to be on a timer to be released today. Will fix it right after ATS. I've been busy getting the power ups ready, didn't get a chance to check, sorry. If you keep fashion fray on the site can seeing the attributes be optional somehow? After the event we will make it so that the attributes do not show up if the "filter by fashion fray items" option is turned off. That should help. Lanzer an81angel GamesWill Fashion Fray exist as a long term game after the Halloween event concludes? If yes, can you please separate the Fashion Fray dress up from the normal avatar dress up. When you leave Fashion Fray to get dressed it resets the heart timer, and you are stuck displaying a mish-mash outfit on every other part of the site, which it a huge drawback for many people. If you separate these two dress ups your heart timer should theoretically not reset, and you can keep your normal look across the site. Thanks. Hmm, that makes sense. We do like the concept of Fashion Fray and want to expand on it. As we expand on the game we will definitely make a slot for fashion fray instead of overwriting your current avatar. That's odd, we raised the limit last week. Let me check and see if I'm missing anything. Lanzer Castiel Lover EventThere are still some bugs with this event: The count down for hearts resets every time you refresh the page. After you play, it shows an extra heart than you actually have. Trick or Treating in the shops stops after the third bag collected. Will definitely fix the 3 bag limit right after ATS. We will change the heart timer to properly reflect what is on the server. Lanzer DSDragon star Features Is it possible and considerable to add some more items for the fashion fray game ? To give more option ? Yes, we started with 7000 items but will definitely add more. Lanzer Aerdian Fashion Fray: Heart timerI saw someone else ask about the hearts as well, just adding in my interpretation of what issues may be present: 1) timer countdown seems to reset when you load the page [so either have to keep it open, or closed for the entire duration the heart recharges] 2) the amount of time to recharge a heart says 30m, but it seems to be longer [aka you leave the page open for 30m, it says it has 1, but if you reload it says 0, but you wait longer than 30m [not sure exactly how long, but shorter than 1hr] a refresh will show 1 heart 3) doesn't display the correct number [you have 5, spend one, it shows 4 for a moment then pops back up to 5 but if you reload the page it's 4] The actual timer for heart counter is on the server side, but should sync up to the game window pretty closely. I will check on the system before the update is pushed out at 6pm today.

That's most likely because you landed on a ranking that had already been granted to you. We will make a change so that winning the same ranking will grant the lower ranked prizes.

I really enjoyed the tree decorating in 2017: very original and relaxing. The tree decorating mechanic was actually meant to be something we can bring back every year. Let me see about having that along with the new Christmas event. Don't think there's the same caroling mechanic for this year though.
