Bidding is a very fun and exciting feature on Gaia, and it is hardly used anymore. In addition, it may also help with the market value and sinking gold. I guess it's been about a week since it's last update (and a couple before the one before that), I don't have a regular schedule for Flynn but I am trying to do it more consistently. Lanzer Amai_Neiko FeaturesMarketplace has this issue with bidding where if you have two users bidding on the same item, one using platinum and the other using gold. Plat user bids 4K plat the gold user can bid just under that amount in gold and it still reads as 4K plat overriding the plat users bid. Can something be done about this? Once I get the chance we will be moving to a Platinum only system, which should make this a non-issue moving forward.

June 4th, 2019: it amy Loraelei Misc.I feel like it is getting harder and harder to find items on the marketplace that are listed and that aren't incredibly inflated. Sometimes it takes weeks and months to be able to purchase an item because you have to wait for someone to list it sad Would it ever be possible to have some sort of admin bot that maybe posts items for sale that aren't listed? or maybe to help regulate the user inflation? I miss playing games on here and having a reason to grind them. Puzzles and slots used to be my home. Those games do need to be updated, I'll see if I can change the currency to platinum as least.

With how much commerce is done through trades, due to their large size and ease of use, I'm finding accessing the trading history to be useful. Useful, and not enough. Can a separate Trade History page, similar to the Marketplace History page, be created, and expanded so we can see many more trades at once? Maybe even all of our previous trades still in history? Trade information is kept around for a while, it would be nice if we could access older ones. Excellent for records and decision-making, at the very least. It's no good when a really important trade disappears from the limited history window available (I recently lost some backups, it would be nice to not need to make backup pictures of trades anymore). Thank you for your time today. We will add a full page trade history to the to-do list. We already store all the data, just need to display them properly. I was not aware of a lag with wishlist. Can you give more detail to which URL you were experiencing the lag, and which actions were taken when things got laggy for you? Or is it laggy all around? Trying to figure out how the lag is related to wishlist.

July 9th, 2019: Lanzer Castiel Lover Re-post, but haven't had any reply. MarketplaceIt's time to build a buyer's market to fix usermade artificial inflation and the issue of unlisted items. Give us a place to list an offer to buy an item (perhaps put tabs on an item's mp listing for "items that are for sale" and "offers" similar to how user stores have tabs for items and outfits.) The offer listing would take gold/plat out of our account like a trade would until the listing sells or is cancelled or times out. For example, I go to the angelic halo mp page, click on the offer tab, and list my offer for 5 trillion gold that I would buy an item for (and it would add tax at some point, either showing the offer price lower than 5 tril or, better yet, adding tax to the amount it takes from me so it still shows 5 tril on the offer page.) Someone that has the item can look at the offers and decide to click on "sell" to get the 5 tril and send the item straight to me. This buyers market would help combat the artificially inflated prices by showing what people are willing to pay. It would also help for items that are not listed (esp if you or gaia upgrade lets us see how many buyers listing there are when we click the item in our invo, like it currently shows for how many listings for sale there are). These offers would have to be in another tab on our store, next to selling and outfits. I don't know if we would need to limit it by 50 offers, like we have 50 selling slots. But I hope we could have at least 100 slots. PLEASE consider spending time on this, because it would really be a huge feature that EVERYONE would love. The offer feature does sound like a great feature to have for the marketplace. I will add this to the to-do list and see when we can incorporate into the marketplace. Lanzer glengrin FEATURE In the market place, would it be possible to change the filter categories, replacing all the different equipable item ones of hat, tops, bottoms, hand held, accessories, etc with one large human equip item filter? It would be far more relevant and allow us to see items to use for our avies without all the stuff that doesn't apply. I'll add that to the to-do list. We were going to add some animal based filters too. Lanzer smol_burrito FeaturesCould a "relist" or "alter price" feature be added to the user stores? Currently, if you want to change the price of an item you have listed you have to cancel it and then go to another page to relist it, which can be quite a hassle, especially if you own more than one of the item so it doesn't go to the end of your inventory. We will probably need o do some changes to make sure that changes do not get cached for other users, and no one would get the wrong item if someone purchase an item right when it is edited. This might take a small while to implement. Lanzer SERlTH FEATURES RUNWAY PRIZE so right now the total prize for the runway's free theme is 1,659 plat. split between 10 users. was wondering if this could be scaled up a bit to better reflect our economy? cuz right now a user only needs to post twice to make the same amount as 1st place ..which is kinda underwhelming sweatdrop hope this doesn't sound ungrateful. just looking for ways to improve the user experience, so thanks for hearing me out! cheers Understood. They don't have locks on them and we get an error if we put something in on accident (like an aquarium background we have in use) that makes us start the entire trade over. Also, game items still disappearing in trades: anything being done about it or did you not know it's still going on? That makes sense. We should hide untrade-able items.

For those of us with thousands and thousands of items, it would be really helpful to find them easier with the search bar. Seems like many items could really use a few more relevant tags. We definitely need more Gaians to help with adding tags to older items. I'll think of adding some rewards for suggesting tags and for having tags approved by mods. Lanzer Pianette Features - RunwaySpeaking of runway, would it also be possible to see a prize increase in the gold and free tiers? It would make sense to be able to place in either tier and then be able to use those winnings to enter a higher tier and at this point those placing in 9th and 10th either way wouldn't be able to enter the higher tier. The places above could see a relatively small increase to compensate (not... compensate... something, words) perhaps? It wouldn't have to be an immediate change but if possible it would be neat to see as like some kind of better reward for placing at all ah ha. Yes, a mobile update is coming and we will increase the rewards across the board. The mobile version will have a system similar to what you mentioned with a ticket system. Lanzer eclaire5 Question Category :Marketplace Question: I don't know if this is "fixable" but there are several items on marketplace (some of which I have in my wishlist) that constantly say there is one for sale. But when you click on it, there is no item for sale. I know it sometimes takes a few minutes after things are bought to show up as such but several seem "stuck" on there, even though they've been purchased. Thank you. But will we see (within the relatively near future, as what was somewhat alluded to in another topic) them released through OTHER avenues, so that more users have a chance at them? Yes, it will eventually be released through other means, but for now Flynn is having fun traversing space and doing pirate-y things. Would it be possible to maybe at least give people from other time zones a better chance at winning them by changing the time of day future auction(s) end? So far they have all ended at 2 AM my end (Sweden) and I'm sure there are other people who would want one where it's even later when they end. The timing has been a bit over the place for the plunders. In this past month or so I thought that they've been pretty diverse in their end time (middle of the day, night and middle of the night (my time))—but we can look into diversifying the end time even further in the future. it amy Mhmm Cheeseburger Misc.I have Myth coin from before gold turned into plat. I thought with the most recent update to them it would gain its plat value.. but it didn't.... Help? Without that value, it's useless.... All the old Mythrill coins that are pre-platinum era have been untouched, think of them as collector's items at this point. What I did was update the naming convention for all the relevant/existing coins so they say their platinum values. If you did sell back an old coin that is in smaller gold amounts, it will contribute to your Platinum Balance, but likely in a small unnoticeable amount. Lanzer Rysabi features A while back I was told that it would be possible to buy more slots with gold/plat for selling things in the marketplace. Are there any updates on that? Tons of us are dying for more slots to sell items. Yes that is an upcoming project. More details will come soon.

There will be some delay but it should be released down the road. The page refresh was there as the original code wasn't built with stacking in mind. We will need to re-work the marketplace script to work better with stacking. Lanzer Princess Kunzite FeaturesYeah, think I'm going to echo the same question as another user... Can it be looked into why, when you trying to sell an item from something you have multiples of in the MP, that it'll refresh after you list one? This is something that doesn't affect me on my main, but on all of my mule accounts I had this issue. It tends to make things very annoying for listing items in my shops there, and I have to have stacking disabled on those accounts so it doesn't keep refreshing when I'm selling items that I have multiples of. If I remember correctly, the original program did not expect stacking as a feature, and each item would be represented with one serial number in the item list. Once an item is sold, the program would run out of serial number for any stacked item. We can probably add an additional update to fetch a new serial number without refresh. I will add that to the to-do list.

Lanzer Jisen Meizuki Glitch/ErrorSo Friday there was a bug in the candy in the front page where instead of 50 plat, we get 50 million GC instead. The staff have removed it from the front page as well as removing the GC from accounts, including mine. However, we're still waiting for our trade to be enabled, even when the GC has been removed from the account. So how long do we have to wait for our trade to be enabled? All affected accounts should have their trades re-enabled as of last Friday. Let me make sure no one was left behind. Sorry about the wait.
