"You should paint eyes," they say. "Come on now poof, do it already." Yeah, no. Just horrible, at least it looks good from a distance. talk2hand It all looks so easy, but try and keep your hands steady while using a large magnifying glass eh. Oh well, she has eyes and I also painted in the bottom lip as a test to give the face a bit more something. Flight Marshal Olivia Marion, homage to an old guild member we used to chuck dice with in Rogue Trader, who was dead set on becoming an ace fighter pilot. Right now a Thunderbolt pilot and some time officer of the fleet or objective marker for rescue missions, maybe a future person of interest for Necromunda, depending on what the campaign system and supporting character roster has on offer. Next up, maybe more homage / tribute models to old members, dunno. Would be good practice on painting skin before Necromunda hits, but every time I try to commit to something, my vacation gets revoked. Anyway, on my desk, pair of minis from Hasslefree, their poses do nicely correspond with the ladies in mind, one being a royal vixen, the other more of a.. feisty fighter? I am bad with words today, bleh.

Yeah, didn't paint any minis this week, I decided to pick up the slack on my industrial terrain instead: The mat is 3' x 3' instead of 4' x 4', which makes the terrain look a whole lot bigger than it actually is. To be added to the collection shortly will be a Promethium refinery for extra height, plus a set each of the new plasma terrain, so pipes and small towers, which will connect everything and add more scatter to the area. The bottom of the central tower will also be painted in Celestra grey, then given a liberal helping of rust, leaving the metallics mostly grimy, but rust free. I like to imagine that the paint jobs are less of a priority to the overseers of this facility. Not sure yet what to make of this facility, maybe a processing plant for waste, or a cheap form of booze, which is always something worth fighting over in the underhive.

Took me forever, but that's one model done then. Ami "Ryza" FlaviaOne down, way too many more to go. The Escher are all nameless until painted, works better that way. Regular Escher gangers More regular gangers and championsThere's also the Goliath gang, straight from the box, though under a different name, but their names stay the same as the cards, for ease of gaming and to be honest, they're good as is straight out of the box: Gangers More gangers, champions and the leader. Also on the desk, partially primed terrain, recently cleaned town denizens and two boxes of Munitorum containers, several boxes of bits and exotic dancers.

Looking into painting them up as holograms or the like being projects from the sides of a bar or some other dodgy drinking hole. But that's for then, I first need to finish Drago the Goliath test model. sweatdrop

We'll see how far I get before I am on my knees and in tears again. Until then.. DRAGO. Meet Drago, Goliath test model and first member done of the Fifth Refinery Boys, name still being tinkered with. sweatdrop Wash is still wet on his trousers and cannon, plus the shoulder guard still needs a million ******** watered down coats of yellow, but other than that, I can live with the final result. Next up, painting the skin of the 18 other minis, might as well get that out of the way first and work my way up from there, along with the cleaning and assembly of the Beastman Bounty Hunter, who is a big ******** for some reason.

Due to being sick enough not to work for a few days I haven't had much done this week, aside from the following, a pair of juves made with the input of friends: Unnamed juve though chances are her name will be crass or extremely rude at the very least. "Amy-Who?"Rest assured, team Beefcake will also be receiving one or two juves to bulk out their roster. I also did a NPC miniature, Enya the lamplighter: Probably no real ingame purpose, but I love the model and after re-reading Junktion, I felt I had to include at least one lamplighter for the future town project I'm working on.
