Unlike Zara, Esme was very much as innocent and shy as he appeared to be. He had never really been around others enough for someone to tease him the way Tsukasa liked to. Esme did not even realize that he was being teased; they were just having a conversation. And he was just overreacting. It was hard for him not to get flustered around a man like Tsukasa even though he had really tried. For one thing, he had not meant to neglect his new friend Edin. He liked her quite a lot; she had been so nice and open and friendly. And she had a really sweet and lovable cat. Esme couldn’t have asked for a better friend to meet so early on. At least she wasn’t completely bored and alone; there was music playing and people dancing.
Tsukasa pulled out a stool and sat right next to him, chin on his palm and watching Esme with those intense eyes of his. It wasn’t quite like before, but the waiter still felt a little flustered under that gaze. He was adorable? Esme really wanted to cover up his face again, but he resisted the urge. ”Um… thank you.” he murmured sheepishly, a little smile lingering on his lips. Tsukasa’s answer was as open to misinterpretation as his own, but he didn’t mind that. In a way, he was glad. Things didn’t have to be awkward between them; he liked Tsukasa and Tsukasa thought he was cute. That was all there was to it.
Suddenly Tsukasa changed the subject and it was Esme’s turn to tilt his head curiously. This topic at least felt safe enough to talk about and Esme didn’t feel so flustered and out of sorts. ”You mean the fruit that you eat with your soulmate? Um… I don’t really know anything about it. I mean, the legend is written in all of the brochures, but… that’s not really why I came to Soleil. I mean, I haven’t even ever had a boyfriend; I don’t think someone like me even has a soulmate. Oh! Are you going to try to find it? The fruit, I mean. And your soulmate?” Esme didn’t imagine that someone like Tsukasa had any trouble finding a girlfriend, or boyfriend if he preferred, but finding a soulmate was probably a lot harder, wasn’t it? Did he already have someone in mind? It must be someone really beautiful, Esme thought. And someone confident; much more confident and beautiful than he would ever be. Esme mentally shook himself; the last thing he needed was to start imagining what kind of person would be the perfect companion for the man he was developing a small crush on.

Esme was in a rather good mood when he reached the Captain’s Deck. The sun was shining brightly and it felt just as warm and pleasant out as it had yesterday. It was almost hard to believe that it was still December, if only for a couple of days longer. But the weather was not the only reason for his good mood. He was looking forward to spending the day with his coworkers, getting to know them and anyone else who came along. Esme hoped that with so many people all together, he might be able to avoid getting too nervous. Besides, he did not think people would expect him to talk too much when there would be so many other people to talk to.
The waiter was so distracted and excited that he managed to trip and stumbled into the door. Esme looked around him quickly, face red with embarrassment. He felt like such a klutz… but at least he did not think anyone had seen him. Trying to behave as naturally as possible, as though he had just walked to the door rather than falling against it, Esme pushed it open and hurried inside. That could have been really unlucky if everyone else had arrived already! But since he still had not seen anyone… it really was a good day, just as he had thought!
It didn't took much time for them to arrive to their destination. As the two of them come near the pub Tsukasa noticed a familiar male who stumbled his way in. "Careful." His hand raised as if he was to reach for Esme from such a huge distance between them. Tsukasa, sighed in relief when he managed to bring himself back up. "Isn't someone too excited for the party? He said in his thoughts, shaking his head a little amused by what he just saw. Tsukasa was not sure if Sahar managed to see that or not but he had a feeling that voicing his thoughts would make his friend think of him less. "Looks like some one beat us from being the early bird." He commented, trying his best to keep his tone as calm and collected as possible.
Leaving the door sign closed, Tsukasa pushed the door open and let his dear friend in. His eyes would then go straight to find his little lamb who may be hurting from his unfortunate fall. "Good morning." He greeted as he walked near Esme. His eyes staring at him ever so lovingly. Seeing him this early in the morning like that makes him want to tease the waiter all the more. "Sahar, I'd like you to meet our precious waiter..." Well calculated steps were taken by him as he placed himself behind the blue haired male. Trying to mimic the same gesture as he did when they first met, Tsukasa would wrap his arms around Esme's shoulders hugging him lightly from behind as his gaze meets Sahar's. "Esme." After stating his name, "I missed you my little lamb" he whispered softly to his ear before returning to his normal tone of voice. "Please treat him kindly." Surely he was enjoying himself. If only he could be like this with Zara then it would a double whammy.

Fortunately for Esme, he remained blissfully unaware that anyone had seen him stumble into the door and so he was not startled when Tsukasa entered the establishment not long after he had. He did look curiously to the friend Tsukasa had brought along, offering the bronze-skinned man a shy smile before dropping his gaze a little nervously. He wondered where the man was from; he had such an exotic appearance, at least to Esme. But he certainly wasn’t going to blurt out his question to a complete stranger; that would be pretty rude.
Fortunately they would not be strangers for long as Tsukasa introduced his friend soon after greeting Esme. ”Good morning. It’s…” the rest of his greeting was momentarily cut off as Tsukasa once more wedged himself quite casually into Esme’s personal space. And, try as he might to not overreact to the friendly presence, Esme was flustered all over again. He was beginning to suspect that Tsukasa really had no idea how handsome and charming he was or what effect he was having on his new waiter. Of course, his unsuspicious mind had not picked up on how very deliberate and intentional the man’s actions truly were.
Esme blushed right down to his shoulders and let out an involuntary little squeak and he balled his hands in his jacket in an attempt to keep them from covering his face. What would Sahar think if he suddenly hid behind his hands after Tsukasa had whispered to him? And what if he hurt Tsukasa’s feelings again? Was it strange that he liked being referred to as Tsukasa’s little lamb? It was a strange thing to call an employee, wasn’t it? Esme hoped no one ever, ever told the man just how strange it was. Then he might not hear that cute little endearment anymore and he would miss it. ”Um… n-nice to meet you, Sahar.” Esme finally managed to finish his greeting though he did not lift his gaze from the floor. His cheeks were burning hot and he finally gave in to the instinct to cover them with his hands which felt much cooler in comparison.

It didn't take long to get to the beach, or maybe it did and Sahar just didn't notice; one of the perks of being able to float, it made it easy for him to travel long distances. As the pub came into view so did a young man who seemed to be in a good mood, though that didn't last for long. "Oh-!" When the young man tripped Sahar's instinct was to try and catch him, but given their distance that was impossible. Luckily, the man didn't have too far of a fall, having hit the door. Poor guy. "So it seems. I do not see how you two can be so energetic so early in the morning." He commented in a light-hearted tone. He felt more awake than earlier, but a part of him still felt tired. Once they entered the building he gave the blue haired man a small smile then moved over to a table to put down the drinks he brought. Before he could get far Sahar paused, though, watching curiously as his friend approached the other man.
Tsukasa was a charmer, a flirt even, and he was starting to get accustomed to his behavior, however, this was the first time he had seen him physically touch someone else. He referred to Esme as 'precious' and whispered in his ear too. The man in question didn't seem to mind it either, despite being embarrassed, which was rather cute. For a moment, Sahar didn't say anything as the gears in his head turned, then his expression lit up. "Tsukasa, you did not tell me you had such a cute boyfriend!" He exclaimed, having come to that conclusion.
They certainly seemed like a couple with the way his friend was acting. "It is nice to meet you too, Esme. I hope we can be good friends!"

Hazel kept worrying as she walked towards the Captain's Deck. What if she was the only one to show up? She had her regular work uniform on just incase with her bathing suit underneath. What if they decided to do it another day and they forgot to tell her? She sighed softly, she was happy to spend time with some new possible friends. Maybe she should lighten up on the worrying. She had already packed part of the picnic. It was a bit of a surprise, but it would be quite the sweet one at that.
The brunette walked into the bar and noticed she wasn't alone, she let out a sigh in relief. She saw her boss, Tsukasa as prim and proper as ever. A stranger who looked quite foreign and exotic, and finally a flustered Esme. She smiled "Good Morning! I hope Im not too early." She walked over and placed the small basket on the bar. "How is everyone this morning? Oh Tsukasa? Did you invite someone else to our beach party? Im fine with it of course, the more the merrier!" She asked politely. A smile on her face.

They pulled up in a white vintage Cadillac with music blarring from the speakers loud enough for those inside the pub to hear. Alexander parked the car, shut down the engine, and jumped out the driver's seat, motioning for the girls to come inside. "Lets go." Alex said to Vixen and Zara with an unenthusiastic tone, then stuffed his fists into his windbreaker jacket's pocket and entered the bar.
Upon entrance, Alexander suddenly felt hesitant. He didn't necessarily think this through. He slowed his pace the closer he got to the group, mentally cursing at himself for not waiting on Zara. He considered the idea now that if Zara was by him he wouldn't have to address the group of strangers directly. He could just ease his way to comfort through his sister. He ran his fingers through his hair to ease his nerves and stepped forward, "You guys... are all for the... the beach thing?" In contrary to Zara his voice certainly wasn't musical. He was more laconic and standoff-ish in comparison. His voice was deeper, cooler, and borderline monotoneous. At a moment like this, he definitely wished she would hurry up and get out the car to save him from falling deeper in his inability to be "socially acceptable".
Tsukasa's shoulder was starting to hurt carrying the weight of his duffle bag but he chose to bare with the pain for a few minutes more. It was worth it seeing Esme squirm in his presence. The signature blush went on cue. This time even brighter than before. Perhaps it was because the lights were no longer that dim. He was pleased with the treat he received but he was missing his cute gesture of hiding his face with his hands. With his peripherals he noticed that he was suppressing himself from doing so by hiding his hands on his jacket.
It didn't long before his hands managed to escape from his pockets and onto his cheeks. Finally he did it. Satisfied with his actions, Tsukasa was not ready for Sahar's commentary. Boyfriend? Why does he have to bring that up. Now he needs to come up with something that wouldn't hurt Esme's feelings. Masking his worry with a smile a little brighter than before, he tried his best to come up with an excuse. "I think you mean super adorable, right Esme?" He chuckled ignoring the fact that they were mistaken as a couple. He'd let it hang for a while. Still he was happy that Zara was still not around to hear this or else strengthening his chances of being ignored more. He didn't exactly want that.
Once his objective was completed, Tsukasa pried himself off Esme placing his bag down next Sahar's. Oh such blissful feeling it was to remove the weight on his shoulder. The man leaned pulled out one of the chairs for him to sit, resting his chin over his palm as he continued to eye his precious little lamb. He's glad to know that he managed to help both Sahar and Esme widen their social circle.
Few minutes later, another employee came in to join them. It was another one of their waiters. The doughnut girl how could he possibly forget. She's the only flower that blossoms in the garden filled with thorns. "Good morning. Yes, this is my good friend Sahar. He'll be joining us at the beach." He stood up from his seat and walked over to Hazel's side. Bringing his gaze back to Sahar, "She is one of our lovely waiters as well. Her name's Hazel." He then brought his attention towards her basket. "What treats have you brought us this time?"
▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Staring at her reflection in the passenger seat's mirrored sun visor, passing her fingers through her hair, applying lipgloss, and adjusting the straps to her bikini top before humming approvingly of her reflection, and getting out the passenger seat of the car. By the time she had came out, Alexander had already made his way inside. She followed behind, and entered not too long after him.
Stepping in, Zara could see Hazel, Esme, Tsukasa, and a very familar face standing in a group with Alex awkwardly standing not too far from them. She made her way towards the group, light on her feet as always, "Good morning." Zara said in a sing-song voice with obvious enthusiasm. She slipped her hand into Alexander's own and pulled him forward, closer to the group. Alex looked down at Zara with a grimance at her holding his hand but the siren only rolled her eyes at her brother and held on to him with a tighter grip. "We brought lots and lots of booze!" She announced happily, Alexander snorted in response.

Esme looked up with wide eyes and mouth gaping when Sahar mistook him for Tsukasa’s boyfriend. At first he could not even say anything in response though his brain fumbled for something. Tsukasa managed to speak before he could, but he only corrected ‘cute’ to ‘super adorable’. Esme buried his face further in his hands and shook his head with a wordless sound of flustered surprise. ”Oh, I’m not… I just… I work here… Um, Tsukasa is my manager.” Esme protested in embarrassment from behind his hands. But inside he couldn’t help the feeling of fluttering butterflies. He had been mistaken for Tsukasa’s boyfriend… and Tsukasa had not even denied it. Esme was not stupid enough to think that meant that he was Tsukasa’s boyfriend, but, well… Honestly, he would have expected the man to react much worse. He would have expected a quick and adamant denial; who would want to be mistaken for his boyfriend? But all Tsukasa had done was compliment him more. He really was nice… Esme took a breath and uncovered his face, managing a small smile. ”I would like us to be good friends as well… Any friend of Tsukasa’s must be really nice.”
Hazel was the next to show up and Esme turned toward the waitress when he heard her voice. He smiled and waved at his coworker, happy to see someone who probably wouldn’t make him feel so embarrassed. ”Oh, hello, Hazel.” She was carrying a small basket; more sweets, perhaps? Esme was a little curious, but he was not feeling brave enough to actually ask. He wasn’t feeling very brave at all; he had barely managed to speak up and correct Sahar’s assumption. He really hadn’t meant to give the man the wrong idea. He liked Tsukasa a lot, but he couldn’t imagine that the man would ever have him as a boyfriend.
The next person to enter was a stranger and what voice Esme had found to greet Hazel died in his throat. But when the man asked if they were all for the beach thing, he at least managed to nod. Was this person with Tsukasa or Hazel? Or maybe with someone who had not arrived yet? As if to answer his question, one of the women he had met on his first day arrived and took the stranger’s hand, drawing him closer. Esme actually giggled when Zara exclaimed that they had brought lots of booze. With Zara there as well, he felt just brave enough to offer a wave to the guy whose hand she held and introduce himself. ”Hi… I’m Esme; I’m a waiter here as of two days ago.”

Oh dear, Esme was cute before, but as he became even more adorable as he fumbled for a response. "You are right, he is really adorable!" He laughed at Tsukasa's correction, assuming that he was right since he didn't deny being a couple. It seemed he might have jumped the gun, though. Esme finally spoke up, stating that they were nothing more than co-workers. "Oh, I see. Forgive me, I just assumed that Tsukasa would not be so physically affectionate with an employee."
Thankfully, he didn't seem to be offended by Sahar's mistake and was even willing to be friends. What a sweetheart! With that settled, he set down his things and took a seat at the table to wait for the others. Not that they had to wait for long because a lovely young lady came in carrying a basket. "Good morning, it is nice to meet you, Hazel!" He greeted her with a smile and wave. Was she wearing her uniform? How odd. Hopefully, she had something more beach appropriate.
Next, a slim man entered, looking as though he wasn't comfortable being there. "Hello! Yes, we are, we are just waiting for everyone else." He tried to reassure the man. Well, he was in the right place it seemed, but who had invited him? The answer came quickly enough, as a familiar woman entered and took the man's hand.
"Oh! Good morning- Zara, was it? It is nice to see you again." What a coincidence! It was nice to see the young lady again, they had only met briefly the other day so he didn't get a chance to- Sahar's smile grew a bit strained when he remembered that she was Leon's friend. Even though the man had seemed nice at first, he still wasn't sure if he could be trusted and he certainly didn't want to have another group outing with him..."Um, did you invite Leon...?" He asked, glancing towards the door wearily.

The smaller boy within the group introduced himself to Alexander first. He tilted his head to the right and looked him up and down before giving a response. "Yeah...? The waiter here...?" He repeated, not as if asking, but as if he was confirming it to himself. "I'm Alexander -" Alex shifted on his feet. He looked around the pub for a second, shrugged and yanked his hand out of Zara's grip before continuing, "I'm this one's brother." He pointed to Zara who by then was looking up at Alex with a whimper and a pout.
Alexander's eyes lazily shifted it's gaze to the man with the bronzed complexion and a smirk eased its way on Alex's face. At this point, Alexander was used to Zara's popularity with men, but Alex got a kick out of the way the man said this Leon guy's name. "Who's Leon, Zara? What did I tell you about those city boys?" His voice lowered mockingly as he nudged his little sister.

▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ "Sahar!" the name finally found its way onto Zara's tongue. She only had a brief moment with him, she could barely put her finger on it right away. The siren's excitment was probably through the roof by now with all the cheeriness that filled the room. Though, it was upon seeing Sahar's face accompanied to the way he said Leon's name, in addition to Alex sleazy grin and teasing commentary that made Zara shuffle on her feet and laugh nervously.
"No, I was here during the planning of the event." She said twisting a ring on her finger as she always did when she felt slightly nervous. "Leon isn't coming. I didn't invite him." Guess it was good luck she hadn't either. She almost considered doing so, but with the knowledge that Tsukasa was attending she didn't want anything else. With that said, she nudged Alex back and hissed at him to behave. "I didn't even do anything with him yet..." She whispered in protest, flipping her hair lazily. Alex's sly smile widened as he stood up straighter with a new secret to keep.
