Raygnar and Abira could only watch as the man known as the King fell from the stab wound that Diaval had created. Diaval kind of knew what he was doing, but both noticed that Diaval was starting to show how out of shape he was. Abira could only blink, sitting there as Ray got up and went to the King who could not get up, showing his body was not as strong as it used to be. "I would say next time you do not touch my slave again........but it seems like from your eyes, there won't be a next time." He then felt the king grab Raygnar's foot and pulled him with his good, not stabbed arm and make him fall. Acting on reflex, Raygnar used his feet to shove on the king's wound to get away which made the King shout in pain. Raygnar knew right away that the man was dying of internal bleeding because the man did not move. Raygnar did not know if he caused that, or if Diaval tore a hole or two in the blood vessel causing him to lose consciousness. Abira now was frightened by the white eyes the man had, which made Raygnar slowly go over and have his finger under the guy's nose and on the throat. "My God.......Diaval we killed him."

With the King dead, it was a shock to the demon kingdom that it had happened. But the story had been fabricated saying that the King went too far and ended up dying from his insanity.....since one could guess one would not say anything or try to end Diaval or Raygnar for killing a King over a slave who was not even considered a citizen of the kingdom. It was hectic from there since everybody knew the King had no heir to take his place. So after flipping through everything they saw through the books that if the King died/retired with no planned heir......the General would take his place.

"WAIT WHAT?! I AM NO KING!"

"It is the law of the demonland." One of the women spoke in coldness, just telling the truth right there as she was the adviser and lawmaker. "Th-Then....Who replaces ME?!" "Your brother." "OH! Isn't it that frickin' simple enough?!" He crossed his arms. "And you expect me to take the throne like that?!" "It is the Law, with no king....there is no order....no order would mean destruction."

Women..... He mumbled as He rubbed his head. "Damn it what do I do?" "I guess the first thing first is to set a meeting..." "A.....meeting?" "With the Angel King, negotiate and hopefully be able to stop this war and get mutual peace." The once-general sighed as he then eyed Diaval. "Bro........I'm screwed."

The once called General now had to go through the whole inauguration as he was placed in front of the many people to be crowned. He felt his stomach churn in disgust as he felt eyes boring on him. He ignored the woman in front of him giving a speech, probably inspirational if one paid attention. Then he felt something on his head......which made Raygnar want to throw up horribly. "All Hail King Raygnar!" The people chanted that same line as Raygnar felt even more sick, it got to the point that after the ceremony he ran to the bathroom and vomited in the toilet.

Now he knew someone would have to go to the Angel World...the messenger would have to tell them of the Mutual ground they found, probably going to get there with the help of Diaval if interested. "Oh? A new King?" The Angel King was impressed somewhat as he then stood up and stretched his arms. He knew Blanca and David were there, probably wanting to know of Raygnar's well-being. He thought why not let them come and see who're they facing. "Hey you two, wanna come along and meet the New King? They say he is as young as me."

Raygnar felt weird being in new clothes, especially the fact that now this huge castle was supposed to be his home....also Abira's and Diaval's if they wanted to stay. "Great...." He mumbled, looking at the mirror to see he was wearing clothes that King Henry might've worn in his 20's....it just reeked within him. Everyone at the castle knew what happened but also was aware that the peasants and common-folk cannot know. He then was led out by new guards, since the ones that were under the old King had to be let go, told to either keep things a secret or be well...exile or maybe killed. Raygnar had no idea what happened to them, but it was to enforce that things will be a secret. So with that he had to go, along with Diaval as now he is the new General. "This is going to be complicated."

They soon left to find a mutual place in the human world, a big plain area of some sort as the man known as Raygnar sat on one of the trunks of a cut-down tree. He was silent the entire time, just lost in thought when a big white light emitted in front of them, showing a bunch of figures, one no doubtingly the King.

"Alright lets get down to-.....WHAT THE HELL!?"

"Nice to see you too."

"What ar-....oh yeah your the general...I forgot. Anyway...so where's the new King?........" He seemed to be looking around as Raygnar gave him an annoyed glare: "The General replaces the King if the King retires/dies with no heir to choose from.' That got the other to blink and gasp slightly. "....So you really are the King.......this is easy......especially for a certain someone.' With that he gave Blanca permission who is behind him to go and greet him.

Oh Gawd, how do I comfort a crying pregnant woman?! He had to blink and also examine Diaval's confusion on her baby bump. "I....I'll explain later." He then could only rub her head and give her a light squeeze as he did not want to put harm on her and the....unborn thing. "I did not mean to do this, I tried to make sure this didn't happen....but how?"

"Hey, sometimes...although rare, one can get pregnant by one try.....a lot of people have to do it like 10-20 times to get it." Raygnar glared not wanting to be reminded. "Anyway it's about the situation, it seems like we'll have a short chat since we both want the same thing." "Indeed but.....what'd I do?" "What you do?" He then realized Ray was talking about the girl and the child. "Oh....well....technically you're King so....you can do whatever you want and nobody can stop you."

"So you're telling me that I can just easily have her with me and the child? It's that simple?" 'That's my inauguration gift to you buddy." We're not buddies. He wanted to growl but now was not the time. "We'll probably talk more later but we both need to do something....privately." He had the man follow him away from the others> David was silent the whole time but he decided enough was enough once they were gone. "Of all the people in the world sis, you chose a demon to love and be the father with. Of ALL THE PEOPLE!" He was a bit stressed but knew he cannot do this often because for her, she had a lot to struggle with. "I am too young to be an Uncle."

Ray and the King meanwhile we're signing papers, each a form of treaty. "I am not expecting much from the human world though." "I think that's expecting, we are all competing to get human souls, and to get one to form to our side." Then the King spoke. "And be careful. Your great grandparent was full-fledged demon before arriving at the demon world, and now this child will have to live there with angel powers. It's going to be dangerous." "I am aware of that but I wonder...."

"Wonder?"

"If the child should stay at the human world, and choose which side he/she wants to be on."

"You think that'll work?"

"Better than her staying in one place, let the child look at each world, and decide for itself which one it wants. If it wants to be an Angel, use angel powers to commit one of the seven virtues: chastity, temperance, charity, diligence, patience, kindness, and humility or be a demon and commit one of the deadly sins: wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, and gluttony."

"That might work, but the human world today is so.....stressful. You sure the child can handle it?"

"If they were raised in that situation, the demon and angel world won't be that difficult."

"Alrighty....but talk to the girl." He then went back to the others and then looked at the girl" "You have 10 minutes with him and you have to go back....the year sentence is not over yet." With that he grabbed David who tried to protest and left through the bright light. "Imma repeat what I told him." He coughed and stared at Blanca: "If the child should stay at the human world, and choose which side he/she wants to be on. Better than them staying in one place, let the child look at each world, and decide for itself which one it wants.
