Beauty is only skin deep!
Mare Personality: Often butts heads with the stallion on moral issues. However, she's quite calm and friendly the rest of the time. Has a bad habit of doing what others tell her to do, so she's a bit gullible.
Stallion Personality: Fiery, narcissistic, pompous. Hates that the mare can be duped so easily, and often has to yell at her to convince her of her stupidity. Still, he wouldn't have anyone else on his journeys but her.

Amelia was up before the sun rose, not having slept the night previously. How could she? She was leaving--finally leaving--to prove herself. Her excitement came to life in the knot in her stomach, twisting her abdomen what felt like in a million ways at once. So instead she waited until it felt like a good amount of time to get up and moving. The sun began to rise more steadily, breaking pink across the skies. She wondered, with a fierce curiosity, what she would be doing by this time tomorrow, or even tonight... Turning from her nest from which she spent the night, Amy headed to the heart of the herd, fighting the desire she felt to vomit from excitement. (That surely wouldn't be mature, or dignified.)
