_----Back again----_Pachua returned to the basement shortly after leaving it, He'd have to remember to tell Remi when he saw him again where his beads were, just in case the tree-boil didn't see him first. He glanced down at the key in his hand and took a breath, praying to the old gods that this room had less… dead body parts to feed into machines than the first room had. Unlocking B5

The key slides easily into the lock......and it opens without a fuss. No voices chuckle at you from within; in fact, the room is eerily silent. You take one step forward, and then another, and another,until you find yourself in the middle of the dark room. The light from the hallway illuminates only the entrance. Unfortunately, the rest is too dark to see without a light.
Something about this room creeps you out to the point of not wanting to investigate alone...Quote: You are now in a Confinement Room!This room has a pre-requisite. It looks like you need to find a [ LIGHT SOURCE ] before you can continue, and there doesn't seem to be one in this room. It's also suggested that you investigate this area with a [ partner ].

"You're still here?" The Fracs hopped down from the ceiling, landing on the same pile of rubble it had spoken from earlier, and finally began trotting towards the dejected bishounen and his dead friend.
"Wanna know a little secret?"

Pachua backed up out of the darkness, all his feathers, even the bent ones quite 'fluffed', the top edge of his wings pointing downward as some primal instinct suggested that he make himself look bigger. There was something absolutely uncomfortable about the room. He went so far as to shut the door and hold it shut with the feeling that if he did not, something awful would escape. It meant though that he wasn't wholly paying attention to what, or who was behind him, He bumped directly into another boil

Llyr lifted his gaze from Amphi's prone form and turned to look at the little creature beside him, still absently winding his fingers through his hair to form a makeshift braid of sorts, though he had no way of keeping it in place.
"A secret?" he said, and frowned slightly. "What sort of secret?"

[ ROOM B5 ]Bren had followed the boil with the key back down to the basement, briefly coming across the masked Fracs along the way once again. He knew what he had to do, but his hands still shook as he ran his fingers across the needle in his pocket.
When Pachua backed into him, Brenley pulled out the flashlight he had picked up from the supply closet instead.
"What's in there?" he said, peering around the boil into the darkened room.

[ ROOM B5 ]Pachua -jolted- in shock, a small explosion of downy feathers as a result. "SPIRITS and -SCALES- I didn't see you there." He exclaimed. "I…I don't know… I couldn't see anything." He admitted and then looked delightedly at the flash light. Surely that would clear away the unease that he'd felt about the room. he swung the door back open, or rather more open to show the dark contents. "…Want to examine it with me?" he offered cautiously. There was that terrible uneasy feeling that the room gave off, and perhaps with another person he'd feel safer. It was nice of the other boil to follow him after all, and so helpful that he had a flashlight after all, surely it was fate. "Pachua." he offered a hand. "I don't think I got your name before I'm sorry. I'm a little, a little distracted in here I suppose."

The Fracs trotted close, head and ears low as if conspiring with the young man. "She's not really dead." It admitted, sitting on the other side of Amphi. "Well, she's almost dead and fading fast, but you have a chance to save her, if you're willing to listen."

This most assuredly got Llyr's attention. His head snapped around and his eyes were wide with a hope he hadn't had since they'd gotten to this wretched place.
"How?" he asked, reaching to take one of Amphi's hands. Her fingers felt cold against his skin. "How do I save her?"

[ ROOM B5 ]"Yes, me too." Distracted was one word for what he was feeling. A horrible sense of dread had settled over him, but he couldn't turn back now. He was going to escape. He would save everyone. Maybe.
"I'm Bren," he said haltingly, his nickname not usually the first thing he introduced himself by. He shook Pachua's hand with as warm a smile as he could manage, recognizing him as the boil who had volunteered to sacrifice himself to save all those Hobs behind the black door. That was... good. It meant he wouldn't mind dying now either, right?
He clicked on the flashlight. "I'll go first," Bren said. And then he did.

"Her FEAR is really weak, she won't be able to rejuvenate here at all, and the way she is now, she won't dissipate." It explained, reaching out to place a cold hoof on the ghoul's other hand. "So to save her, you need to give her FEAR ~ And the only way to do that here, is...a life, for a life." It let that hang in the air for a moment, before it continued.
"Not yours, of course ~ It would be a shame for her to lose her protector, but one of theirs..." It nodded towards the door to the hallway, indicating the others. "They deserve it, don't you think? For leaving you here all alone...for not caring about her~ For being selfish."

He listened carefully, his brows furrowed, his lips pressed together in concentration. Llyr's mind had already begun to work furiously to comprehend just what the creature was saying, and he glanced first from it to Amphi and then back again, an expression of consternation on his pale, slightly scaled face.
They had left him alone, hadn't they? They'd volunteered to stay with him, to help him, and then they'd all gone without him because he'd wanted to make sure Amphi wasn't left alone.
It was very sad, really.
And it was not like any of them really understood, Llyr reasoned, biting his lower lip. After a moment he said slowly, carefully, "H...how would I go about...doing that...exactly?"

His breath caught in his throat, the fog roiling before them was thick and… bubbling. He'd never seen it act in such a way, it was horrifying and yet… He swallowed hard and brushed his fingers lightly over Bran's shoulder. "I'll check." He said softly, raising a wing between himself and the other boil to guard him against any fall out. "b…Be careful alright?" He said softly. He walked towards the fog

"Easy, you lure someone here, to this room, and you kill them." The Fracs walked around the body, keeping a respectful distance, and sat beside Llyr, leaning against him and rubbing its head against his arm. "I'll lock the door for you so they can't escape, and with the FEAR nearby, well - she'll be able to use it to heal and get better! Then you two can search for a way out together~ Doesn't that sound nice?"
