Texas took Mirai's focus on the girl as a chance to get closer. He rushed forward, his arm turning into a flaming blade again. He attacked Mirai from the opposite side, slashing at her with an extending wave of flames. Although this was an attack that Texas used often, this time it was much stronger than Texas had been capable of before and the blade extension was much longer. Meanwhile, the girl barely paused as her fist slid to the side. Mirai's punch landed and the girl jerked backwards from the hit, but again the damage seemed to be much less than it should have been. The girl just grinned and sent two more punches towards Mirai's face, this time faster than before.

Texas was forced to throw himself to the side as the gear came towards him. He was caught up in part of it and got thrown backwards and into the ground, creating a long crater as his body dug into the dirt while he skidded backwards. The girl again seemed to take the attack at lot more in stride. She lunged to the side as well and just like Texas she couldn't completely avoid the attack. However, the hit didn't knock her down. It pushed her backwards as she raised her arms in front of her, allowing them to absorb much of the damage. But she was able to stand as it passed her by. Her sleeves were burned and so were her arms but yet again she wasn't seriously damaged. "Oh a new form? That must be new! A little demonette how cute! Did you get that from your daddy?" She raised her hand towards Mirai and fired several powerful shots of devastating pink and black energy. The shots didn't radiate much energy but if they hit Mirai they would seriously damage her.

Texas quickly got to his feet. Even though he was much closer to her level of power (though the gap widened in her demon form) he still couldn't quite match her. The girl was a different story. Texas stepped up and turned his arm back into a flamethrower. He began launching multiple blasts of flame towards Mirai, more to throw her off and cause light damage. Clearly the one that would be doing most of the damage was the girl. She took several steps forward and launched herself up in the air towards Mirai with surprising grace. She spun around and over in the air as she came, firing multiple energy blasts from all different angles in an attempt to hit Mirai while she continued to close in.

Texas was knocked backwards by Mirai's punch. "Arg! Figure it out B**** I'm not your boyfriend!" He replied as he regained his footing. He swung a flame sword at her again, this time aiming to cut her straight across the middle. "Geez, were you seriously this clingy? How in the world did I like you?" He asked, sounding disgusted with himself. "Yeah it was pretty sad watching you. You have much better taste as yourself," the girl said from behind Mirai, fixing her hat non-nonchalantly. Although she had been caught in the detonation the damage again was minimal. "Honestly..." she muttered.

Texas snorted as Mirai knelt down. "Here, we'll do you a favor and put you out of your misery." The girl let out a small laugh. "It's what you wanted right? Consider your wish granted!" They were both temporarily distracted when the ground began to shake and the water rushed towards the two of them. They both quickly pushed off into the air, looking down at Mirai. "That's all that's left? Throwing water balloons? Yeesh." She grinned down at Mirai as she lazily fired several more pinkish-black energy shots towards her.

"Uh huh..." "Riiiight..." Mirai's two assailants replied at the same time. Texas was forced to back-pedal and retreat from the battlefield as Mirai launched her attack; it was too much for him to survive at the moment. The girl, however, didn't seem too phased. She moved fluidly back and forth, dodging most of the the beams and the ones that hit her didn't cause too much damage. They scored direct hits and clearly they hurt, but for the most part the girl seemed to be able to shrug off the beams even though to almost any other opponent they would have caused extreme damage. She came for Mirai again, spinning in the air as she attempted another kick straight across Mirai's face.

"You think we just randomly decided to fight you?" The girl asked with a smile. [b["Oh no. We've planned this for a while. We know what we're getting into; we always do." The girl leaned to the side and smacked the gear out of the way with her hand. It burned off the top of her glove but she was still frustratingly unharmed. "You might as well drop a gear on yourself. You're not going to win this." She took one step forward and tried a spin kick towards Mirai. Whether or not it landed it would quickly be followed by a second one.
