Shun stood there quietly for awhile, considering what was being said. Remi did present some good points as well, but the short answer was yes, he was willing to give the chance. But the kitsune obviously did not share the sentiment. It seemed that he was willing to risk the consequences of taking the crown. "Very well. If you're willing to take that risk, you can go on ahead. If things go wrong, though, we will strike," he replied.

Lan's smile was content, watching Amrita in silence, in a sort of shade of amusement yet not.
An order given- to Lan, Amrita was the only one who showed real potential, minus the ghostly girl. Thus, the only one who was worth listening to. Others were of no consequence.
None, not even as she say the way out from cages into the unknowns. Where others went, a horseman was sure to go. Torch grabbed, she went in, seeking her own way out. Yet all to be found was a statue. A statue and a name- figures she didn't know- name she didn't recognize. Something to question another about.

Deeper still, Lan had to venture. Until she reached a place that had her stop dead in her tracks.
So this was where the dark king would seat himself.
So this was the kingdom of Black.

He ventured through the darkness, unsure, and unable to properly see when he normally could see quite fine. The torch provided some light, but not nearly enough, and all Mathias could do was follow along a stone wall, hoping that it was enough.
Suddenly, he was sure that he had heard a sound. His ears swiveled, his head turning behind him. "Hello?" He called out, his accent thick, sure that if it was somebody who knew him, they could recognize him by his voice.
There was no answer.
Turning around, he continued on. Uneasy. Hungry.
Another sound, and this time, spikes came jutting out of a wall that he had nearly ran straight into. He let out a sharp gasp, stumbling back, nearly falling.
He shivered. He was just so hungry, and he didn't want to be down here alone.

He had to turn around, and continued on, walking for what felt like an eternity. He didn't call out, as he doubted it would be of any use. He listened, but only in case he heard something that might be stalking him as it's prey. He had no hope, because in such darkness, where would hope be waiting for him?
He came to a statue, and he waved the torch in front of it, head tilting slightly as his eyes narrowed. Who was this man? He read the plaque in front of it, and still felt confused. Was he not a professor of the school? How odd....

The mother in Gene was screaming at Remi, telling him that he was an idiot and was taking unnecessary risks. She hardly knew the boil, truly, but he was a fellow student, a comrade like Amrita. She sighed in resignation, however, too weak to put up much of a real fight.
"If you think it'll work, go ahead. I'll apologize now if we end up having to harm you both."

He decided that since he had no idea where he was going, he would just sit and stare at the statue for a bit longer, trying to work out what it was doing there.

"I would just like to state again for the record that this seems a -terrible- idea and if you deplete the last of my fear as some kind of terrifying shadow monster I will find a way to return as a ghost just to haunt your shadowy a**." He folded his arms as though to establish the point even though it was, unfortunately… impossible.

He finally tore himself away from the statue, only to find himself wandering down another stone corridor, which ended, once again, in him nearly being skewered by spikes that suddenly jutted out of the stone at him.
He did no like this place.

"Done." He nodded, and for the first time since Amrita had changed into the shade, Remi relaxed. This would either work or it wouldn't, there was nothing else he could do about that. Black or White, no other alternatives. And now if something went wrong, he had a fail safe. He was counting on Shun to be that fail safe. He knew all three of them conversing with him, but he had only ever really seen Shun fight. Even Remi knew the reaper had skills, so he was counting on him to do something if this went bad. The taller boil approached the reaper, nodding once. Without warning he placed his hand on the others shoulder, and shoved a nice chunk of fear from himself into Shun. He gave them only to Shun because he knew Shun would do what he asked, he had a suspicion Pachua and Gene would Hesitate if things went wrong. Shun wouldn't. "Im trusting you." Hearing the last plea from Pachua, Remi did bark out a bit of a laugh at that as he turned around again. "If that did happen you are free to haunt my stupid a** forever." As a last minute decision, he also brushed by Gene and Pachua and gave them both a little of his stamina as well. Pachua had a good point, if he did go monster mode they would need all the help they can get as well to just come out okay. Turning away he quickly approached the shade-who-was-once-Amrita. Without warning, Remi lunged and tried to take the crown away from the shadow. Giving 6 Stamina to Shun 14-6=8 Giving 2 Stamina to Pachua and Gene8-4=4 Stamina: 4-1=3.

He was back at the spikes again, and this time he did fall. He felt weak, dizzy, hungry. So very hungry. It was a hunger that ached throughout his small body, that consumed all else, overriding all other thought.
He wasn't going to make it. He was going to die here, lost, alone, cold, and desperate.

Somehow, someway, he managed to cling to whatever was left of himself, holding it all together just long enough to stumble into a room, one that a group had formed in. One that held a nightmarish sight to behold. He gave his head, which was swimming with dizziness, a sharp shake. He could barely focus, and all he wanted to do was find Jove, to see if the ghost pup had made it as well. ' HP : 1 Grey Dragon he made it...and nearly died wooops

The second Remi touched the crown, shadows sprang out from all angles of the crown, long spindly hand-shaped shadows that kept on stretching outward until they grabbed a hold of him - his arms, his legs - all parts of him.
A large a terrible mouth opened up from where the crown once was and swallowed Remi entirely.
For Remi alone, he was suspended in darkness. He heard two figures talking, muttering about something, and his feet moved without his consent until he was at a table. There were two people at the table, Amrita and a strange, gaunt, taller figure holding a black stave.
"Another visitor," the taller figure's eyes narrowed, "well, since you are here, come join us."
Amrita sat at the table but did not speak or even move. She was still.
"Well?" the taller figure prompted, "are you going to pick a sacrifice? Look outside, any of them will do. Just one sacrifice and you can have her back."
As Remi looked, he would see those gathered below. Shun, Pachua, Gene, all those that were waiting outside.
"Pick any one," the tall figure said, "any one will do." OOC Anyone else in the THRONE ROOM - you see Remi get swallowed by the crown and disappear
