Minty squirmed out of Charming's grip and viciously kicked the van door shut. It didn't really solve anything, but it did help take the edge off her anger.

"Arron's toolbox is a great place to start." She grudgingly admitted, "Even if we don't find the mechanic, he's sure to have something to help. And I'm sure he's got it fortified, although I'm not sure it's smart to start pushing buttons in there."

"Ow..." There was a pop sound as a dent in the door popped itself out. "Great legs ya got there, lady. So's this toolbox somewhere in the warehouse?" With Santa? "I take it there is a separate power supply then? Nothing electric here works." Sciurus kept an eye on the mirror as he spoke. He frowned when he didn't see a trace of Caedere anywhere and hoped the wind wasn't too bad, even with her strength. He Would be coming back for her later, hopefully with something to help, he swore to himself.

{Sadly I have to go to bed for now, gotta be up early on Fridays. And s**t, I won't be here over the weekend either actually sweatdrop I'll sort things out tomorrow.}

The werehog had been stumbling tiredly through HQ, searching for signs of life. Due to his former grombification, he hadn't had food, water, or sleep for a full three days, and he was barely keeping awake. He felt as if he might as well have still been a grombie... well, aside from his mass slaughter of any grunny he came across. There was no way he'd be merciful after what they did to him.

After wandering for a while, suddenly he saw light up ahead of him. Life! Survivors! ...Were they carrying a flashlight? Two flashlights? ....Headlights?! Uh oh.

"No no. Nononono! NO! STOP!" He held out his arms wide in front of him and held his ground, there wouldn't be a way to dodge in this narrow hallway. Of all the ways to die in a zombie apocalypse, he really hoped it wouldn't be getting run over of all things.

Minty flailed at her surroundings, trying to find something to grab onto in time, but it was unsuccessful. As the van screeched to a stop, she was thrown into the front. Her body crashed into the windshield and tumbled down, coming to rest splayed across the front seats, and the doctor's lap.

When everything stopped, Minty was disoriented, looking at the world upside down and sideways. It took a moment for her brain to catch up with the involuntary spatial re-organization of her physical self. Someone was yelling at them through the window.

"Monster?" She said groggily, "Wait...no! Doctor, Monster was bitten! He was half-way to grombie when I saw him last!"

Minty scrabbled frantically at the door, trying to make sure it was locked.

It was a close call as the wheels almost locked. The momentum could have almost flipped them, but as it vanished the back tires returned to the ground with a bounce. "Jesus freakin' Chrysler! You tryin' to make me a minivan? Anyone ok?" There was a trail of destroyed furniture behind them, and yes, another section of wall broken. The sudden juggle of force threw Sciurus against the steering wheel as Minty hit him, bouncing off the seat and slamming to the floor with her on top. He wheezed from two broken ribs and spat a bit of blood out the passenger window; wriggling around before addressing Monster. "...A-are you alright?" And says the one who almost made me roll the v-" He stopped immediately at the word bitten and pointed his cleaver at Monster wincing at the people pile in the back. Voyager sent the window up in a panick almost hard enough to break it as he asked, "You sure lady? Cause that other one back there didn't seem too chatty & she got it too, right?"
