[3345 + 10 = 3355]Once their turn was up the Pumcat clone became visable again and got a good hit from the Queen to prove it however thankfully Timeo's Time Protection lessened the blow a bit so the clone only slid back a ways "Ok Pocket card" The real Pumcat says then has her pocket card shuffle and draw as Timeo puts next turns Time protection on the clone What her pocket card drew caused her to frown a bit she got her Luck_1_2 card twice! Which if not for the fact that a luck card can't be used twice would be a good thing but the fact remains so she essentually missed on that card however Pumcat's smiles as she see's her new Attack_8_5 card that she got from the evil rose "Ok Luck card multiply the Attack_8_5 card!" she says excitedly at least she'd deal decent damage! Once the attack card was multiplied it then bestows its strength to the blue tipped claws on the clones claw gloves which causes them to extend and become sharper once ready the little orange haired cheshire cat wraith nods and the clone goes in to strike it slashes at the queen before dashing back to relative safety OOC For my deck see my Battle Entry Log gaia_crown [ PUMCAT'S CLONE STATS ]HP: 33 BOSS HP REMAINING: ??? [3355 + 2 = 3357]Pumcat was a already shuffling and drawing as the queen struck out at her clone which caused it to slide back a bit Timeo goes to work putting his Time protection on as Pumcat herself frowns at what she drew "Mm... two of my Attack_5_1 cards and my Heal_2_4 card... Well at least I can heal my clone!" she says then nods her two attack cards combine and bestow their power to the claws on the claw glove which barely extends them as she has her heal card heal her clone Once ready the clone dashes in and slashes the queen for a measly two damage but hey it all helped right? [ + 5 fragments ] She was hesitant before, unknowing if she could make her way towards the final battle ground and face the White Queen. Deliberate in staying behind just for a little longer, in the taverns, on the regular battle fields and inside the castle. Straying away that she knew needed to be done. It was rather unlike her and she didn't like it. Because she wasn't helping the others, she always liked to help the others no matter what the cost. That might have been what got her resolve, to bring her out finally. Even if it was finally facing the means to the end and the end of the game. Finally finding out what ALICE had planned with those weird bodies behind glass and if it would actually be bad. Because, who knew. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad.
Even though she had attacked them, ripped so many including herself apart, ALICE didn't seem all... too bad. Andrew had talked about the save files and she understood that hurting those would not be good, and that ALICE was simply trying to protect them. She could understand that, she wanted to do the same. Thinking this through, even as difficult as it was sometimes, the small ghoul realized that little by little she couldn't really be mad at ALICE. Even after the pain she had caused her, leaving her shaking in the tavern. ALICE simply wanted to make sure no harm came to those other bodies and had acted like she had seen.... hm, she couldn't figure out what but she had seen once when someone got very defensive over something. It seemed very much like that.
So, no. She couldn't hate ALICE any longer. And she didn't like to hate things (maybe.. dislike a little). And the cute girly figure had said they would be happy and that they would be together. Maybe it just seemed scary to get to this point. Hadn't it been every other time they had reached some pivotal moment? That gripping moments, that final fight until everything became clear. Sometimes it was so very scary and so very sad; like the destruction of an island as you felt the earth beneath you plummet, with you on it. Or the battle field unfolding all around you and so much death. Or feeling precious memories slip away from your finger tips. But there were happy times too, mostly the end of all the chaos and finally discovering the true meaning of their ordeal (even though, sometimes she really didn't get it). And the reunion of friends, coming together and finding one enough. Sometimes for the last time. But being together. Which is what ALICE had promised them, that they would remain together after this even though they would be replaced. Whatever that meant, she still didn't exactly know what it all meant. But she was sure she would find out with the rest of them, like they did all those other times. And she would embrace it like she did before.

[ Total Damage: 3435 ] Despite being on the 'red' team a part of her was hesitant to attack the White Queen. Something about the whole scenario didn't seem right, as though there were pieces that were still missing... It was likely her own fault for missing them, having spent so much time hiding amongst the trees in the Tulgey Wood that she had stayed out of so many other encounters with others. Seeing others rise up to fight charged something within her, however. She drew her cards and charged forward, ready for whatever was waiting for her in the Queen's court. [ Total Damage: 3453 ] The more damage she took the more irritated she became; irritated with herself for not anticipating it, irritated with the Queen for hitting so hard. She bottled all of that up and shook it together, an angry snarl curving her lips as she took another slash at the Queen, this time feeling like she was actually doing something. The satisfaction lasted all of a few minutes before she was sent sliding back with another heavy hit. "Ugggh." [ Total Damage: 3507 ] The pendulum swung and he never knew which side of it he was on. Grief, that really was what it was. He couldn’t escape it. Every time he saw her, every time he got near, the knife of happiness struck along with the knife of fear. Maybe he should be happy she was afraid, but he wasn't. He couldn't stay with her if she was afraid. He wanted to protect her, but.. he would have to protect her first from himself. Then the queens. He looked at the queen and charger her, his claws out. His spells drew themselves around those claws, and like poison or lava, dripped off of them another spell made him faster and he got behind her. He stuck close and stayed there, not letting her strike him as he threw blow after blow. He was not the type to save the world, or even just them. His goals were much simpler than that. he only wanted to save himself, and… and the one who had somehow snuck into his heart. He had to save her, but anyone else was an after effect, a begrudging duty. If he got to play with spells and magic to do mass damage while hiding behind someone else, that was fine. It really was his style, both in the game world and... in the place he called the real world. The place he didn't even know if he really existed there or not. Or maybe this was the real world. Who knew? It was all getting to confusing. Still he charged on. Speed becoming his best friend, but it gave him too much time to think, to ask himself why. He wasn't the type to fight. He came to Amity with the goal of learning to become scary. Now he was both too scary and not enough. Truly not enough. They didn't tremble in fear, but instead lashed out and tried to smother him out. Just for being a little on fire, he never realized this would be his greeting once he stepped foot out of home. Grief smoldered him. He would not let it happen anymore. And the pendulum swung the other way and then back again as he realize that might mean being out of control. It was like he was in a twisted maze of emotion and confusion. He couldn't figure out if he was real, if this was a game or reality. If he should try to fight the queen, of if he should just sit out and wait or try to stop them from completing the game. But he wanted to complete the game, to open the forbidden gate. Olivia was right about one thing, it might hold the answers. It might also send them to oblivion. All of this he poured into a spell and stuck the queen. Grief could take it all back. Please just take it all back and leave. Please just go away and let this game just end. and then he could wake up. [ Total Damage: 3557 ] Could they even defeat her? Them? Was it possible? He did not like the question marks over the heads of the queens. and no matter haw many blows he made, it was like fighting Alice, without watching his comrades fall. The queen was attacking yes, but not with the same, instantaneous death that Alice had. That dream, or rather waking up, struggling to wake up, to breath, unable to get up, and unable to move, only to find that same face, those eyes. He did not want to belong here nor did he want to be replaced. It was different if they had asked his permission but he didn’t remember ever giving it out. He never intended to give it out. Not his permission and certainly not his name. Why him? He wondered. Was it random? Was it that he liked this sort of game, well minus the actually having personal ties involved. He didn't understand, and he did not like things he didn't understand. No, not at all. He wanted an explanation, but none would come from the white queen, they had already had their talk. He had to defeat her, not because Alice said, but because he didn't know what would happen if they didn't. He put his strength.. well his copy's strength into his spell reaching trying to crush her. His copy bothered him, even though it wasn't really him, in all the confusion it almost felt like him. Were each one a separate creation? Were each doomed to die the moment his magic ran out? or were they just spells a little bit of magic thrown in? He didn't know, and he didn't want the copy to feel the same way he did, not because he felt bad for another, but because that was him and he didn't know where he really was anymore. Respawning at this point scared him. He understood that they had been reset, but the physical reality of actually experiencing it, not knowing where he really was, scared him. He put more power into his spell, he must defeat her. They must, they had to get out of this game. He wanted out, to go do something else, to know what time it actually was, and.. well he wanted to go see his parents. Even going to See Danny, his annoying cousin would be better than standing here not knowing if this was truly the end. She would slap him on the back, even though he told her a million times not to, and tell him she would go beat up whoever was bothering him. But she wasn't here, or at least, he never saw her. He hated being, feeling so alone. He tapped into that hate and that emotion and put it into his spell, trying to off it onto the queen, to hurt her with it, knowing this was nothing but a losing battle. Was there a way to win this??
