Rose stayed by Violet so she would be safe while she slept. Ivy wondered over towards the lynx baby what was quietly watching from under the desk. She felt safe there for some reason, but smiled when she saw Ivy coming towards her.

"I think we can chill out until Logan returns. Everything looks good. I'll just put this stuff back so it's not sitting out." Dray said reaching for his mother's rag as well.

"Thanks. And say hello to the rest of your family for me. I'll just borrow one of these trays and have it sent back later." Logan said picking up a tray and setting everything on it. He balanced it on one hand like a butler before he gave Trevor a nod and headed back to his office to see his family.

"Castle and Berry Street, love." Lily said as she looked over her shoulder at the girls in the back and her boy. Afacan had fallen asleep with the car ride into town and the other three were looking out the window at the sites. Lily smiled and placed her hand on Kaeden's leg. "They are really loving this." She whispered to him. She was happy her girls and Kayla could experience this all and they were all together.

Logan came back with the tray in his hand. Before he'd gotten the door open, he smelt the furniture polish and he had to chuckle. "I wasn't expecting you to clean." He said with a chuckle and looked at Alex. Dray went and stood next to his mother. "We both did it. You like?" Dray said. Logan looked around as he put one hand on his hip. He nodded and went over to them both. He kissed Dray's forehead before kissing Alex's lips. "Great job." He praised before walking over to his desk and putting the tray down.

"Trevor was in the deli and he had some awesome displays. He said they had painting day for their kittens and invited us over the next to time they have something." Logan said as he started to unwrap the food. The smell of sweet started to mix with the lemon polish and fill the room. Hungry and curious eyes turned his way. "I told him we would join them next time. It'll be a nice outing for the older kittens and they need to work on their social skills anyways." Logan turned and handed the first dish of Angel Food cake to his mate. "I had Trevor put some strawberries on the side for you, love." Logan said with a smile and wink.

Next he handed Dray his chocolate cake. "Thank you father." He said. Then Logan set aside his apple pie before putting the pastries dish down on the floor.

Rose nudged her sister, Violet and nodded over to the goodies. The lynx walked slowly with Ivy as Ivy tried to quickly make her waddling way over. After the last encounter, the orphan kittens lined up but didn't touch the food. They waited until everyone had gotten there. Even the mean one was careful, sitting just a hair behind the others.

When they found a parking place at the restaurant, Lily was glad to see that it wasn't too busy. They would probably be able to get a good seat out on the grass out back. Lily rubbed her hands together in anticipation of the meal to come. She knew their food would be good. "What does that mean, mama?" Yanny asked rubbing her hands together too. Lily smiled and thought. It was hard to explain. "It's like a silent expression in anticipation of the wonderful meal that you know is coming." Lily said. Yen understood, but Yanny was in deep thought about her mother's words as he father opened their door.

Violet followed Rose's line of sight and decided to move to see what these white balls were that had been placed on the floor in what she recognized as a food carrier. This didn't look like any food she'd seen before, it looked more like a ball to play with.

Violet snuggled in by her sister. They were the closest to the plates, not understanding the line that had been formed to wait for others. Ivy leaned forward and pawed at the puff ball and got a chunk of cream stuck on her paw. She didn't know what it was and started crying as she waved her paw trying to get it off.

Koko, seeing her distress, came over and licked her paw for her, getting the cream off. He put a comforting front leg around her to calm her down. Logan on the other hand just laughed at her. "New things can be scary, sweetheart." He said before getting some of his apple pie on his fork and tasting it. As if that was the signal, the kittens started to close in on the pastry balls.....except Ivy. She'd had her fill of mystery for the day.

Rose tore off a piece of the pastry and brought it back for Violet before getting a piece for herself. The lynx baby tried to wait until there was a clear path, but it didn't look like she was going to get in any time soon.

Logan chuckled at Alex as he watched him and listened. "I glad to see you happy. It's music to my ears." Logan told Alex. Hearing his happy moans over food was better than his crying. But Logan figured this was good practice for him. Being the Semal he was always using his stern side. But with Alex like this because of the bracelet, Logan was getting to know his softer side....which he planed to get rid of mostly once Alex was back to himself. The Semal was always the firm hand while the Rayah was the soft heart.

"Ant-tis-petion.....I just haven't rubbed my hands together yet." Yanny said slaughtering the word she was trying to pronounce. "Shouldn't we see the food first before rubbing our hands together?" Yen asked as Lily came around with Kayla to get Afacan. He started to wake up as Kayla closed the door behind them.

The lynx was happy to be able to get some food. It looked and smelt good, but she just wasn't able to get to it. So when Leo came over and gave her and his little brother some, she felt privileged and purred her thanks. She nibbled at the piece she had and was delighted to find it tasted so good.

But her happiness soon faded when the mean panther girl came over and snatched it while everyone else was busy eating. The lynx watched as her little piece of yumminess was taken away. Unable to stop herself, she started to cry. There was no more left on any of the plates. She quickly scampered off back under the desk to cry alone....like she usually did.

Dray sighed. "Why is she so mean? She'd scratched her up earlier, taken one of the triplets and now this." He said. At hearing this and how much trouble she was causing and on top of that taking one of his little ones, Logan became upset. He firmly set his plate of half eaten apple pie on the desk, the fork sliding off the plate, before he shifted immediately to his cat form. Just his size was enough to fill almost half the office. This kind of disrespect, even in a kitten, wasn't allowed in his tribe and he was going to n** this in the bud.

Logan's large black cat quickly sprang over at her, carefully avoiding the kittens. He wasn't going to kill the little one....just make his point known. She tried to run, but her path was blocked. She looked up into his stern face with fear. Logan let out a fierce growl that made the kitten wet herself. He then used a paw to bat her around. He knew she was curl up into a ball, which she did, so she didn't get hurt, just tussled about for a few moments. When Logan was done he pinned her on her back and placed his teeth in her face. She cried and whimpered. Then he let her go.

Logan then left her and went back to the other kittens. He chirped to them to come to him. When the mean one tried to obey, he growled at her. She stayed against the wall with her ears down and her tail tucked between her legs. She shivered as she sat in her wet spot she'd made.

The little lynx didn't want to come out, but the voice of a Semal called to her. She came out mewing softly as she almost crawled, her belly low to the floor, her ears down and her short tail almost unseen as it was pressed to her. When she came over she glanced over at the mean panther girl and then at Logan. Logan picked her up in his mouth by her scruff and put her in the pile of kittens he had his paws around. He licked her to calm her before licking all the others.

Dray went back to eating what was left of his chocolate cake. He was staying out of the whole thing. He wasn't a Semal and he was just happy to be safe and follow orders.

Yanny tried her best to pick up on the word as he father said it slowly to her. She repeated it as they headed inside. Yen caught a whiff of the food and she smiled before rubbing her hands together. "It smells good." Lily chuckled as she bounced Afacan a little to wake him. The smell of food made him wake as well. Kayla fell in line behind them as her eyes swept the surrounding area for any trouble.

Mrs. Church smiled at Alice. "Oh, Logan told them to have a date time and sent them off. I think they went to town to get some food." She said. "Do you have her number? You can call her." She added.

Logan purred back at his son as he licked all the ones in his arms. Even the orphan panther girls that were being good were surprised to get the attention of an alpha male. They quickly rolled on their backs and enjoyed their mini baths. Logan made sure to get them all before just laying their and enjoying having them all close and safe.

But they couldn't stay too long and needed to head back home soon. But a knock came to the door. Dray held up his hand and headed to the door, standing in front of it and opening it only as wide as his shoulders. It was one of the workers. "Sorry to barge in, but I was sure I heard a loud noise....like an animal. I wanted to make sure one didn't somehow slip in the buidling." He said. Dray smiled. "Sorry about that. My father was chasing the little ones around. We didn't mean to disturb anyone." Dray explained. The worker chuckled and smiled. "Oh. Okay. As long as everything is alright. Take care." He said with a wave as he turned on his feet and left. Dray shut the door behind him and set his empty plate back on the tray before he started to clean up.

Rose looked at Theo and motioned upward to him. Rose loved sitting up the highest, but she knew her brother was a Semal as well and she needed him in order to watch all the kittens. So sharing the 'top of the mountin' with him was okay with her. She slipped between the kittens around her and to her father's cat arm. She then jumped up and quickly ran up his shoulder before she could slip down. She sat tall and proud between his shoulder blades and waited for her brother to join her.

Inside the resteraunt, Kaeden and Lily were shown outside to the back. There were a few families already there sitting on the ground on blankets. But the back yard, even though in the city, was spacious enough. The waiter came out and picked a lovely spot on the thick grass next to a row of liles that were blooming. He spread the blanket out, set out rolled up silverware and then took their drink orders. "Madam, would you like a baby seat?" He asked. Lily glanced down at Afacan. He was a quiet baby, but she wanted him to get down and explore if he wanted to. "No thank you." She said softly. He smiled at her, passed out the menus and nodded before leaving.

"Nice blanky. It's soft. The grass is soft too. What's in here?" She said and then asked about the rolled up cloth napkin. She slowly unrolled it and looked at the shiny silverware inside.

In no time, the water came back with their drinks. "I will give you a few more moments to decide on your meals." He said before leaving. Lily looked at her girls. "I'll read the menu to you and you can tell me what you'd like." Lily said reading it in Russian so Kayla could listen too.

Mrs. Church looked at the list. She was just as puzzled. "Well, there is honey in the kitchen. Baby's breath are white flowers that you can get from the florist or almost any store that sells flowers. Unless you want to pick them yourself. I don't think there are any lilies on the property, so you might have to get that from the florist as well." She said and thought about the other items. "I'm sorry. I'm not sure about the maiden's lips. That might be a flower as well, but I'd have to look it up. I know my kitchen foods, but not flowers very well." She said with a smile.

But then she asked. "Are you making potpourri?" She asked wondering. "If you are, I wouldn't put honey in it or it'll attract bugs."

Logan knew his mate couldn't resist cleaning up. But he didn't want Alex giving the little mean girl any comfort. She had to learn her place. But Alex didn't baby the girl and only clean the spot up.

The little girl inched aside when she was shooed. She thought she was getting more punishment, but only watched with worried eyes as the mess she'd made was cleaned up.

She mewed softly at Alex a few times. She wanted to be held and petted. She dared a few glances over at Logan, but he seemed preoccupied with the other kittens. She looked for some comfort from Alex and hoped to receive it. Logan heard the soft mew and looked over to her before Alex could pick her up or even touch her. Logan's cat gave a warning grunt to his mate not to touch the little kitten. She had to learn.

Rose started purring with her brother. She observed the grunt her father gave and tucked it away for when she would need it. They were all fast learners after all.

They stayed there a little longer until Logan figured it was time to get back. It was getting close to closing time and Logan wanted to have the kittens home before dark. He sat up slowly so his two Semals wouldn't fall right off. He made sure they slid down safely to the floor before he got up. He figured the mean panther baby had had enough. He went over to her and picked her shivering body up. She kept quiet since she didn't know what was in store for her. He brought her back over to the other and sat her down. She rolled into a ball with one eye popping out to look around.

Logan shifted and picked her up by her scruff. "I'm going to give her a quick wash off in the bathroom and then we'll be ready." Logan said heading over to his mate and kissing his forehead. "How about you get the kittens ready to leave?"

Yanny said in English, "I'd like the lamb in bread thing." Yen agreed. "Yes, that sounds good." Lily smiled. "Alright, sounds like two lamb gyros with fries so far." She asked Kayla what she wanted. She wanted spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread. Lily nodded and turned to her mate. "What are my two men getting?" She asked with a giggle as she watched Afacan lean over and start sucking on his father's thumb that was holding the menu. It was so cute, she had to take a picture.

Mrs. Church apologized she wasn't much help before she aided Alice in getting the orphans some food for dinner. "I mean if you are doing a liquid one, the honey would work....just not for dry potpourri. I put some books in the library on that if you want to go over and look at them one day. Maybe you'll find something in there." she suggested with a smile.

"Thanks for cleaning up." Logan said softly to Alex. By the look on his face, he needed a little praise so he wouldn't worry. He'd come back with the mean little girl in his hand. He'd washed her in the sink in the bathroom with warm water, soap and then dried her off. He didn't want to catching anything, so he got a clean rag out of the supply closet and wrapped her snuggly in it. She looked a little more calm after the bath, but still kept her big eyes on him.

Logan slid her into one of the baskets and he carried that same basket just in case she were to get out of line again. He looked around and saw that everyone was present and accounted for. "Come. Let's go home." he said with a little smile.

Afacan let out a gurgling laugh when his father told him girls tasted better. He had no clue, but laughed either way. He laughed so hard, that he fell backwards, but his father's arm was there to catch him. "Dah Dah." he called looking up at Kaeden. "Sounds awesome. I think I'll have a lamb gyro as well."

The waiter soon returned and took their orders. While he entrusted his memory to keep their orders just right, he set down a basket of assorted sliced breads and then a basket of assorted butters and jellies. "I shall place your orders now." He said with a nod before leaving.

The sun was just right...not too hot or too chilly...a breeze was blowing, the birds were flying around and singing and a couple of butterflies came flying over them as they circled each other. Yen looked around at the nice garden around them and spotted a boy, about her age or a little older, looking at her. She briefly wondered what he wanted....but he was some yards away with his own family and no concern of her, so she looked elsewhere. The boy whispered something to his father, and the father turned and looked at her as well. Yen felt uncomfortable and frowned. The boy and his father turned back around. Yen looked at her father. "Dah, that boy and his father are looking at me." She said. Lily looked at the family and the two males she meant. They had already turned back around and were finishing their meal by the time her daughter said anything and she looked up. "They could be looking at the flowers behind you." Lily said softly. For behind Yen was a edge bush that had been expertly trimmed into round bushes that were her height when standing. On either side was another bed lined with blue brick that was filled with flowers. Yen shrugged, but she was sure it wasn't the flowers they were looking at.

Lily looked at Kaeden to see what he would say before giving a glance to Kayla, who seemed to be attentive at the moment.

The ride back home was a quiet one. The kittens where licking their sticky paws trying to get more sugar off of them from the dessert or they were on their way to napping. And with them all settled down, Logan turned his attention to his mate......he wanted him.....and he made that apparent when he unsnapped Alex's belt and pulled him into his lap.

Logan's intense stare looked into Alex's eyes before Logan leaned in for a passionate kiss that he even Dray blushing. Feeling flushed, Dray turned slightly and set his gaze out the window so he wouldn't have to watch his father's hands all over his mother. He didn't mind much.....it was nice having two parents that really loved each other....it was just.....a little embarrasing at his age.

Lily didn't think it was a big deal, but she was glad to have a mate that had the balls to get up and go over and find out what was up. She admired that about Kaeden. Yen watched her father head over there. She hadn't expected him to; but it showed her his character....although she didn't realize it at the time. But it would help her in the future. Kayla patted her shoulder and smiled so Yen would feel at ease. But what really relaxed her was that her father was looking out for her.

The man looked up from where he sat with his wife and two sons. He stood when Kaeden came over and started talking. He held out his hand and plastered on a smile to hide his thoughts. "Greg Holden. So sorry about that. Kids.....they dont' quite have the concept of 'staring isn't nice'. My son thinks your daughter is cute. I turned to see and told him not to stare at her or he'd make her feel uncomfortable. We didn't mean to upset your meal." The man lied....but he did it very well.

Lily let the girls gets some of the bread and then she got herself a piece. Afacan obviously loved his piece of bread because he stuffed his mouth and tried reaching for her. Lily laughed. "Silly boy, you need to finish what's in your mouth first." She said in Russian for some reason to him. Yanny laughed. "Mah, little brother doesn't know Russian." Lily smiled at her. "You are right. I think I will teach him, though. When you two head to school to learn more about English and America, and while Kayla is learning English, I'll teach your father and brother some Russian." Lily said in Russian to the girls.

"I think that would be nice. I think he feels left out at times unless someone says it to him in English. And I wouldn't want him left out." Kayla said softly. It was the longest she'd spoke since they'd known her. Lily smiled and nodded just as their food was coming out. The waiter set the plates down and then asked, "Do you need anything else?" Lily smiled and shook her head no. The waiter soon left and they waited for Kaeden to return so they could eat.
